      They accept STOLEN phones and refuse to return them to the rightful owner!! This business should be shut down! I told them my 2 phones were stolen and told them the exact location of the machines they were deposited in and they want to claim they were unable to locate either my phones! BAD business. Just out to rob the public!

      Thank you for contacting us regarding your missing devices. We received an email from you on 3/17 and flagged your device by the **** provided for one of the devices. We requested the other **** that was missing but did not receive this information. With any device sold to our kiosk we will advise at the point of sale that we work closely with law enforcement regarding any missing device in our possession.  We contacted you on 7/19 to request additional information to help resolve your claim and locating the devices. On 7/23, we proposed a replacement device contingent upon providing a copy of your police report, which you have not yet provided. We are still willing to work with you on this. Please reach out via phone or email to our customer support team by 8/1 to proceed with our resolution for your claim.

      I got a quote from them on near perfect tablet for $100 Took it to a kiosk spend 30 min just fine out they would only give $1 for it. So I emailed them to find out way they answered me right away told me they could help me. I reply back with pictures of the tablet turn on front and back to prove it was in good condition and working. They replied back saying to download there's app and that would take care of it. So I did and it said that I would have to take it to a kiosk to get a price so that was a waste of time no guarantees price like they told would happen. So reply back asking why I couldn't get a price from the app no answer back. I think they do it to make more money so. Please look for a different place to take your stuff.

      This review is for ecoATM, LLC (doing business as Gazelle)I sent my flawless, unlocked, Galaxy S24 Ultra (1TB storage) cellphone to this company for them to review and buy for $724. The phone had never been without a heavy-duty case and had a tempered glass screen protector since day one. I used it for three months and decided to get something else. When I received the estimate for $508, they stated it was not unlocked and classified it as "other" without explanation of what that meant. My receipt from ******* clearly indicates it is unlocked. Furthermore, they indicate the three month old phone has significant damage. This the fourth expensive phone I was selling to them. The previous three were also flawless and I never heard anything to the contrary. They are trying to rip me off and I wanted to warn others to look elsewhere for a reputable buyer as Gazelle cannot be trusted at this point. Gazelle use to be an excellent place to sell expensive phones. No more. Seller Beware!

Your device was delivered on 6/4 and the warehouse evaluated the device on 6/6 and found that the carrier was different than selected at the time of your quote. Because the carrier change from Unlocked to Other for the device, the offer was lowered and you were notified via email. You contacted us questioning the lower assessment, and when we proposed reevaluating the device, the offer was declined. On 6/6, you declined this offer and our team will return your device 6/10

      EcoATM is the parent company of Gazelle. I sent Gazelle a brand new ******* s24+ for a sale. They pre offered me 475 dollars. The phone was never used mind you it was taken out of the box and sat on a clean shelf for a month. I double wrapped the phone in bubble wrap. It still had the black opaque plastic screen protection on it. It had never even been turned on. It had never even been plugged in. I took pictures of the phone before I sent it. Two weeks later I check my status on their web site and see that reduced the offer to 370. I contacted them through their messaging system and the customer service rep lied repeatedly saying the phone had scratches. Now Im fighting them to even get the phone back. Ill update once I get phone back. DO NOT SELL PHONES TO GAZELLE!!!!!!!

Our records indicate your acceptance of the offer on 5/29, with payment successfully processed to the specified account. Our representative contacted you on 5/29 and 5/31 by email and offered additional payment for your device which was in better condition than what was quoted.       Bait and switch offers. They told me the phone was unlocked instead of a ******* phone. I tried again as an unlocked phone and they said it was a ******* phone. Why that makes a difference I'm not sure. The phone had no scratches and I was told there were multiple scratches, even the prices they list on their website for having some scratches are more than the amount they want to pay me. Stay away.

      Hello *******, sorry to hear about your experience regarding your transaction. We received your device on 4/19 and finished processing on 4/24 with the inspection outcome sent via email. The warehouse marked your device as unlocked per Verizons policy that the device is unlocked after 60 days once the device is paid off. We received contact from you on 4/26 to reinspect the device and requested pictures. Our representative emailed you the picture of the device to accept or decline the offer in which this was declined and returned back to you on 4/28. On 4/29, 5/1 and 5/2 a representative attempted to contact you to resolve your claim but has not received any follow up. Please reach out via phone or email to our customer support team by 5/10 to proceed with our resolution for your claim.

      This company rips people off. They say they offer competative pricing but when researching I found not only is EcoATM the lowest but the lowest by $110. I will not use EcoATM and advise anyone who asks about EcoATM to use a different company. If you don't trust what I am saying then do the research yourself. Look up the EcoATM value for a galaxy z flip 3 5g in mint condition and they will offer $40, others offers at minimum of $110 more.

      DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! They lie, cheat and steal. The local EcoATM took my device and NEVER paid a dime. Called customer service a couple times. They said they would reset the machine and all would be good. LIE! Then they said they would send the device back to me. LIE! Recently they emailed me and said they need the number off the devise. The device they STOLE and is in their possession! This service is dishonest and deserves a class action lawsuit.

On 3/27 we were contacted regarding your device stuck at an ******************** location, in which our agents tried to assist remotely to retrieve back. Unfortunately this was not successful in which we asked for the serial number of the device to flag for return or payment once received at our warehouse. On 4/20 you advised us via email that this information would not be able to be provided as you no longer had access to the serial number. Following further review of your claim on 4/22 along with investigation of your transaction attempt to sell the device for ******* claim was approved for a payment of $10 for the inconvenience.       This company is a scam. Sent my phone in to sell and they claimed it had multiple scratches, housing was cracked and phone was unusable. That was absolutely untrue. They wanted to give me $61 instead of the original offer of $180. I declined that and am waiting to see what condition my phone comes back in. Wont be surprised if its damaged by them. They ought to be ashamed to run such a scam business

On 4/11 we received and processed your device with the inspection offer lowered and notification sent via email same day. A reinspection of the device was requested via email on 4/14, in which we initiated and processed with a photo of the device emailed on 4/15. On 4/15 you contacted via phone to discuss the change in value of the device and the scratches that were on the device. The transaction was declined and due to be returned, however, upon follow up on 4/18 an offered and agreed upon resolution of payment was accepted. At this time the payment will be processed and sent on 4/23 via PayPal and will take up to 48 hours to be reflected. If you have any questions, please contact our support team.

      DO NOT SELL TO THIS COMPANY! They will try everything in their power to punish you and give you $0 for your device, no matter the condition. After multiple sketchy customer support emails and being on hold for 30 minutes for multiple people, including a senior support staff member, to tell me that there was "nothing they could do" and that I had to either accept/decline the offer of $0. With every interaction they decreased the value of my device, and now are telling me to basically F*** off. This business practices shady dealings. I would only recommend if you wish to be screwed over. I have reported this company to the BBB and highly recommended and suggest others do as well.

      Hello ****, Thank you for taking the time to contact us about your transaction. After further review we see that the device is sim locked and financed, which can be frustrating. This means that the carrier has put the sim lock on the device since it's not paid off. We do state on our website that we cannot take activation locked or financed devices. On 4/2 we received the device and was processed on 4/4. We were contacted by email on 4/4 and requesting a reinspection of the device due to lower amount. Our warehouse reinspected the device and shows as the device was locked and financed. We advised you of the change by email. The device was then returned on 4/9 as requested. Our representative emailed that if the device sim lock is removed and not financed then the device can be sold. We can make the same offer if the device is sold to us again. If you have any questions. please contact our support team.

      Had a brand new ******* 14 5G had a ticket on it for $20 put it in the machine put the ticket number they can't read the phone so it took my phone back start it over put it in the machine without a ticket number oh they could read it then $12 every time I have a ticket on the phone the phone can't be read how convenient for them right

Following that transaction, the device was attempted to sell with a carrier change showing Other instead of the initial ******** selection. This transaction was agreed to and sold to the kiosk for the lower payout. For every transaction, when selecting the model device, carrier will be an option that is selected by the customer at the point of sale. Our representative reached out on 3/28 regarding your claim, to offer additional compensation as a onetime courtesy. We received a call back from you on 4/1 and accepted the offer.
