I placed an order with manscaped in September. I received my order and everything was finr. Today, December 11th, i see a charge made at 3AM for some arbitrary amount for aomething i did not purchase. I purchased something in September, not today. It seems since I gave them my billing information they feel that they can just bill me for stuff i never purchased. I demand that this charge be removed as i did NOT purchase anything other that what was purchased and paid for in September.Business Response

In the last five years, I have bought Manscape three times. The 1.0 and 3.0 twice and each time they lasted less than six months. When I purchased the 1.0 the battery would not hold its charge. The 3.0 had the same problem, but this time when I charged the battery, the flash light would stay on and drain the battery. I was never able to figure out how to turn it off. I just purchased a new 3.0 two months ago and this one turns on randomly. I wake up in the middle of the night finding my Manscape in the sink running. Each time I paid full price for it and each time the product did not last. Dont get me wrong about what it does. It works fine, but the poor quality and issues of usage are unforgivable for a customer who is paying full price for it. I recommend no one to buy this product and finding an alternative.Business Response

Attempted to try and return a package that I had requested a return from. Contacted the Manscaped support for days on end without a response. They had told me to return the package bu way of Ontrac the delivery service. I had contacted Ontrac about this and their response was that they were purely a delivery service and not a return service. I also relayed that information to mascaped without response either. I purchased a MANSCAPE LAWN MOWER 4.0 and after a few months of using it I noticed the battery lasted less and less. I reach out to the company costumer service and this is what they told me: Hello ****,We are very sorry to hear that your Lawn Mower 4.0 has stopped working.We were able to review your account, and it appears that your device was delivered on 06/11/2021. Unfortunately, this device is no longer covered under warranty.With that being said, wed love to offer you the discount code CXTWENTY to be applied at checkout for 20% off your next order.Please let us know if we can assist you further. Have a great day!This is upsetting because their product was supposed to be waterproof and Im pretty sure that the poor battery performance (less than 2 mins of use on a full charge) is do to probably water inside the product. Im not sure if their waterproof advertisement is correct you tell me. I know for a fact that if I open it i will find rust like the customer in one of the previous post. I am really disappointed because my purchased was done in 2021 and they are refusing to replace my ******, but the customer on the other post that I referred to earlier bought their in 2020 and right away when they complaint, this year 2022 they were offered a replacement. They take your money without giving an order confirmation. I needed to CANCLE my order but theres no way to do so. No phone number to call and the customer service is almost non existent. You shouldnt be allowed to run a commerce company without a customer service phone line.Business Response

I have owned 5 manscaped trimmers over the past 2 years. In terms of performance, it has never disappointed me. However, EVERY SINGLE ONE has died on me after a few months. I use it in the shower almost exclusively, which shouldnt be an issue according to the companys waterproof claim. The last 3 have been the lawnmower 4.0, and they consistently appear to stop working. I dont manhandle them, I dont drop them, and I dont leave them submerged in water. This is incredibly frustrating because I cant afford to keep paying $90 for 3 months of use. Its becoming WAY too consistent to be a coincidence. Im aware that my current one (which just died) is no longer covered by the warranty (order 111-1825588-0829863 on amazon), but this is getting completely ridiculous. My other electric shaving products are fine after multiple years of use. What gives manscaped??Business Response

All of our trimmers meet the ***************************************** (IEC) Standard ***** rating of IPX7 and can withstand immersion in up to one meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. In addition, our trimmers meet the IECs IPX4 rating which protects against splashing water from any direction.
While our trimmers have been tested for a variety of conditions, there is a point at which an increased water depth may cause harm to the device.
Following your trimming sessions and before charging we recommend cleaning and drying your device to ensure maximum performance.We were able to review your account, and it appears that your device was delivered on July 2020. Unfortunately, this device is no longer covered under warranty. We can also confirm you are not an active Peak Hygiene Plan member.

I made a one time purchase and several months later Im not getting a recurring charge for something I never signed up for. Reading the other villains it seems that they try to make things convenient by signing you up for their hygiene plan. I had no idea I had signed up for an ongoing subscription until additional funds had been taken from my account.
You simply shouldn't do it these days.
You're sales tactics should be transparent.
& It is not clear that you must first sign up for an account before they can cancel.
How on earth do you sign up for a full subscription with hanging an account unless you're being intentionally deceptive?
