I was told by Experian that Instant Checkmate had my e mail on the dark web and stating I was a member with the e mail. Experian suggested either changing my password with Instant Checkmate or close the account. I went to the log in page on the companys website and was not able to at all sign in or forgot my password clicked and provided the r mail that the company, Instant Checkmate, has published in the internet associated with my name told to me by experian. Instant checkmate states to prove that I am not a robot) and then the click the square of .. the bus page does not work. Either no clicking on the square or the wrong square. Bought a records report that this company said they had. When my payment went through they notified me there were no records. I was charged anyway, and discovered charge would automatically happen every 30 days. I would not have purchased the records report if they had stated they had no record of the person I was researching. Their communication with me was fraudulent.Business Response

Company records indicate that Mr. ************ report was successfully removed through the ****************** and is no longer accessible on any of the people search sites within the PeopleConnect family, which includes ***************, ************, **************************, and ************.
The ****************** and Instant Checkmate's Terms of Use explicitly disclose that an individual's name may persist as a potential relative or associate on another person's background report. It is important to understand, however, that if ones name appears as a potential associate or relative, selecting that name in one of those potential reports will not direct one to an actual report or provide any other identifying information.

I signed up for a trial and when Intried to cancel couldnt find my account login and password. I ended up calling after maybe a year, I was told they would cancel the account. Months later I found I was still being charged. I called again and was assured they would fix the problem and refund me. This has been since 2022 and Im still being charged. As a courtesy, we have cancelled all memberships and refunded Ms.Rubendalls account back to the payment option used to enroll for $37.23, and no further charges will be incurred. I purchased a report and upgraded to add an email report. The information in the original report is outdated as I had already verified newer data than what was presented.
