On 11 April, I was billed and charged for services we did not receive. The company has not been to my residence to complete any services this year. Because of that, I located a different law care company to service our home. When i looked at my account, I noticed a charge in the amount of $109.33 that cleared my account on 24 April. I messaged the company to let them know I had been charged for services not completed. They responded that they show we did receive service on 11 April which is 100% false. I work from home and so does my wife. No one from the company has been to our house a single time since we paused services last fall 2022.Business Response

I was quoted including a long grass fee ($15) a service at *** around $50 and I knew it was too good to be true but I foolishly believed them. I was told it would be a 3 cut minimum and I asked repeatedly if that price was the same per and if I needed to pay everything upfront. I questioned the price multiple times and was assured it was valid before setting my appointment. I had my doubts given the pushiness of the sales person I spoke with wanting to add extra services. When they arrived they did about half the job before telling me I needed to pay over $300 suddenly for the job could be finished. It felt like extortion and I was shocked! I was told the long grass fee was 100% of the cut cost which still didn't match the original price. Even doing the math myself I only calculated $150. So, how did this happen?! I am shocked and truly can't afford to ever use these people again. I feel lied to and truly betrayed. I thought they were local even with how they were advertised to me but their call center was overseas. I feel so stupid and mislead. I only went with them to avoid being scammed after a bad experience with a private mower I had on Thumbtack but this was ten times worse! They mowed the lawn and took care of things out front but they didn't get all of it on the side either... I could understand and be totally willing to pay at *** $150 for services rendered one time but I balk at $359.99. That's nowhere near what was quoted even with the fees.Business Response

A LawnLove service provider has been charging and continues to charge my credit card for services I did not order and do not want performed. The LawnLove website makes it impossible to cancel membership. I do not want any further services from LawnLove. Their website does not even permit bank information to be withdrawn.Very easy to sign up to LawnLove but very hard to leave. They are an example to everything that is bad about online "services".Business Response

I had contacted Lawn Love as a last resort a few days ago, 4/19. I was able to find a local, ************ instead. I had previously worked with Lawn Love and they would consistently cancel service. At that time, with some difficulty, I was able to cancel. This time, I login to try to cancel my service and I was told on the website I couldn't due to a 3 cut minimum. It seems like a very irresponsible and manipulative business practice to force people to pay for services not provided or needed; especially when given ample notice and no lawn mower had yet to be identified.Business Response

I used lawn love for lawn mowing last year. I cancelled the service in October. I got home today and they had mowed, and charged me. I contacted them, and they claim I only paused my service. They also claim they emailed and texted me recently, I received neither.Business Response

I am trying to cancel my service. They say I can not cancel until after my third mow; however, they never have a person available to mow or they don't mow when they say they did. I incurred an HOA fine waiting for them to show up. I ultimately found a reliable service. Please cancel. Lawn Love only has one available option to contact support, and that is through their website via email. When you reach out, they send a generic response indicating you will hear back from them in the order your complaint was received- they never respond. I have checked my junk mail, my inbox, even my alternate email in case somehow this was my mistake. No- they just simply never respond. Furthermore, the lawn care professionals can come whenever they see fit apparently. My lawn care professionals messaged me that even though I scheduled for Monday-Tuesday, theyd be arriving Saturday due to inclement weather. I live in the area they serve- there is no inclement weather. If youre going to allow the professionals you contract to lie to their customers, at least make it believable. Its supposed to be absolutely beautiful out this week, so I cant wait to see this supposed inclement weather. Its also absurd that there is only one way to contact your support staff in this day and age- I am confident in that you get hundreds of complaints a year and not adapting to provide phone support or at least a chat component is ridiculous. I would never recommend Lawn Love to a friend. I wouldnt even recommend Lawn Love to an enemy. I want out of my contract and for someone, just once, to acknowledge that it is unacceptable the way they disregard their consumers.Business Response

I started services with Lawn Love. From the start their services were horrendous. Canceling. Not showing. I called and asked for all my services to be canceled and was told they were. I was charged $92 for a lawn treatment that was not approved. I called to dispute and they told me I didnt cancel my lawn services. I disputed with them for over 30 mins because cancel all my services with you means cancel all services. They refused to give me a refund. I would like my $92 back.Business Response
