On January 31, 2024 I purchased four cases of an out of production wine, ******** The Waymaker, from youbooze.com. The site advertised they had the product available. They charged my credit card in full and provide me with an order number, *****, and also promised a tracking number and update when the product was available for shipment. After three days I reached out to their customer support via email, and received a reply saying they would look into my order. This made me apprehensive so I called and left a message. On Feb 6 a person who identified as **** called and said he would check his inventory. I made clear I would not accept a substitute as I solely made a purchase at their site specifically because they said they carried this vintage. **** assured me that if he couldnt locate ******** The Waymaker in his inventory by Friday Feb 9 he would ask accounting to process a credit in full. This was after he tried to tell me that ******** was producing The Waymaker under a different label, which is not true, as verified by ********. I have never heard from **** again even after leaving another message and outlining my complaint and desires with youbooze.com in an email, and as of February 21, 2024 I have not received my refund.Initial Complaint

I ordered 2 $75 bottles but they send me $35 bottles and now they want the bottles back before they send me bottles that I ordered. My original order was placed on sep 1st where there was one pre-ordered bottle. YouBooze is an online Alcohol retailer that ship alcohol to your home. On September 05, 2023 I ordered an Old Forester Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye whiskey for $78.98 which they had advertised and listed on there website as a product they had in stock which comes to find out they did not. When e-mailing them they kept giving me generic e-mails stating ( This product is not in stock and we will ship it to you as soon as possible ) This went on from September to November without a word from this business. On September 07, 2023 I ordered A Four Gate Split Stave whiskey for $189.99. Once they shipped this product out it went to Fed Ex and they refused the package because it was delivered by ****** Because it was a different carrier this product was returned to YouBooze. I was using Fed Ex as an alternate address due to my work hours and you have to be home to sign for these packages ( which I wouldn't be ) because it is alcohol. Once the whiskey was returned I e-mailed YouBooze and asked how much it would be to reship by bottle back to my direct address and I got an e-mail saying they would see what they could do. As I waited I never heard anything again from them on either bottle. As I could not get an answer on said bottles I requested a refund on these since I did not receive them and they finally replied We Don't give refunds but can give you a gift card. Due to the terrible service as well as this business being on the other side of the country I replied I do not want a gift card and I never heard from them again. This company has horrible reviews as I should have done my homework. I paid a total $268.98 in whiskey to this company and they will not answer any further e-mailsInitial Complaint

I purchased a product from YOU BOOZE online on August 17, 2023, order #****. I have contacted then repeatedly over the last 5 months concerning shipment of the product. Their e-mail responses have ranged from not having received any bottles to contacting the distributor regarding ETA. A gift was ordered from this company on 11/14/2023. I changed the shipping address information and the company acknowledged and adjusted the shipping on 11/15/23. On 12/20/23 I received notification that the package was shipped back to the company due to too many delivery attempts (the package required a signature). I made multiple attempts to contact the company and they eventually explained I need to pay a reshipment fee (their response was on 01/03/24). I requested details on next steps and how to re-ship this gift back to the recipient and they have not responded. I have followed-up multiple times on 01/03/23, 01/08/23, 01/09/23, 01/10/23, and 01/18/23). I would like a response from the company ASAP and the ability to re-ship this gift out to the recipient requested. This feels like a scam at this point.Initial Complaint

I ordered the Flaviar advent calendar for my husband, but I never received it. I didn't realize that my signature was needed, so I requested an alternate delivery date after *** left a note. However, they never came, so I called and coordinated an in-store pickup on December 23. The representative informed me that I could pick it up within the next week, until December 30. On December 28, when I went to pick it up, I was told that they only keep packages for 5 days and that it was already on its way back to YouBooze. Since then, Ive contacted YouBooze by phone several times (the phone message just says to leave a message for ****), and never reached anyone. I have been emailing them for a week to coordinate reshipment and they refuse to send me a way to pay to get it reshipped. This is frustrating and feels deceptive. I asked for a refund and I have not heard back on that either. I need the item ordered or a refund, and I need help with this.Initial Complaint

I have communicated with them by email and they just keep coming up with excuses. They offered to supply equal value in other products and then never responded when I picked something. I placed an order on 1/1/2024 for 6 bottles of ****** Peak ****** Lemon Vodka. Order # *****. The vendor's website www.youbooze.com showed the item as in-stock. In fact, they still show it in stock.On 1/8/2024, I received a text message from ************ stating they were with Youbooze. They stated they were out of the item I ordered. They offered a substitute which I declined and then requested that they cancel the order. I received no response. I followed up this exchange with an email to ********************************** stating the same - I did not want a substitute and please cancel my order. I received no response to that either.On 1/9/2024, I received a notice from Shopping.com that my order had shipped. I texted back to the phone number from the previous day. I did get a response stating that they did not ship anything and that I would need to contact customer service which I did. I received an email response back stating "Hi. unfortunately per company policy we are unable to cancel any order. "All sales are final". We can only make substitutions. " As of 1/9/2024, they are showing my order as fulfilled. I have not received a tracking number. I have since learned via reviews on TrustPilot (************************************************************) that this is a regular occurance/scam they are running. They falsely show items as in stock, take customer payment and then never deliver the order and won't issue refunds. I believe they owe me a refund due to falsely advertising a product as in stock (and continuing to do so) when it is not. I would not have placed the order if I thought the item was not available. I do not want an alternate product.Additionally, these folks seem to be regularly engaging in deceitful and fraudulent activity. They should be shut down.
