      Warning to pet parents! Do not come to Vetco inside Petco 271/********, **. Don't mix the vet service and store. The Petco store is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful, but once you get involved with Vetco or Grooming, it's unprofessional from the team and the veterinarian. The crew ****************** and **********************, working our appt day and vet ***************************, license #******** was beyond rude and unprofessional. The vet didn't speak to us the entire time, no acknowledgment, did not make eye contact, and had her back toward us. No communication when it was time for the oral heartworm instead of asking us to remove the muzzle they told me to gave it at home, I asked that they do it there. The check-in person returned the dog to the table did it herself while the vet turned away and then placed our pet on the middle of the floor behind her, and walked away. The dog was not secure, no one had the leash. She left the dog and didn't say a word. Their demeanor and actions are not acceptable. I asked if we were done, no communication, no thank you. Have a nice day, nothing. As we left, I said her service was rude. While waiting up front, we saw the vet, ***************************, walking towards the exit. We said excuse me several times, she ignored us and proceeded to walk out. Her attitude in her profession is unbelievable. We trusted/allowed you to care for our pet, but you can't have a conversation about the service we just received. The filthy dressed, hair in six colors, messy ponytail with a bull piercing, watch out for her. The handling of our pet was improper. She observed we were taking precautions by holding our pet and not allowing him on the dirty floor, knowing not all the shots had not been done, by placing a new puppy on the floor where other animals have been is not recommended. Unprofessional, rude to customers and doesnt have the decency to hand our dog to us, look at us, and thank us. We canceled all appointments and will spread the word about this business.

      If I could give a minus 5-star rating, I would. I brought my ********* terrier to the salon for grooming. The grooming included a bath and haircut. When I arrived to pick him up, he looked like a chihuahua, and I expressed this to the groomer. I'm furious. When dropping him off, I specifically told the young woman to only take enough off to give him a shapelier cut. Only take a little since I was bringing him back on December 19th. I even went as far as providing a picture of what I expected. My dog looks NOTHING like a ********* terrier!!!!! I'm not sure why she cut his hair so low! She butchered him! (If I could've I would have provided pics on this review) Grooming does not equate to simply cutting the dog's hair as low as possible. I'm really floored. My dog is a part of this family and to have him treated so poorly is deeply hurtful and concerning. In addition, it's getting colder and for a small animal, this is more than a short haircut. He has also been very sad ever since. I now must mitigate issues that otherwise would not have been prevalent. This makes me sad and tearful every time I look at him as this cannot be fixed. PETCO please retrain your groomers and/or ensure you hire proven ones. I'd hate to have anyone else have this type of experience

      First of all, the blatant disrespect was absolutely disheartening. My pet had a 9:30 am appointment this morning so we arrived around 9:15. We were the only people in the grooming section when a young lady greeted us. I acknowledged her and was looking through my phone to locate my pet's vaccination records. She advised that my groomer was in the back and she would get her. The groomer/manager ****** came out and advised that she would have to cut my dog bald. It is cold and rainy out so I protested and instructed that I do not want my dog to be cut bald due to the weather. She advised that she was going to because of her coat. Again, I stated that I wanted her cut a place up from bald due to the condition and weather and I do not understand why I can't get what I am asking for when I am a paying customer. ****** continues and so finally I stated go ahead and placed my pet on the counter for her so that she could grab my pet and ***** who I wasn't even booked with comes over and stated they were refusing to serve me because I had an attitude and I was accused of animal cruelty because my dog hair was a little matted. First of all, I never abused my dog and I am ****** that I was accused of something as such. Petco will never get my business again and BEWARE, DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED ********! I contacted corporate as well and filed a complaint on Autumn and *****.

      I took my dog to the pet I groomer in **********, **, and there were many contributing factors as to while I am leaving this review. The first and most major concern would be my dog was injured during the process of their grooming. Their entire bottom half of their tail was red and swollen, to the point that they couldnt even move around and do the normal day to day things that they were use to, they literally just sat In the corner in so much pain. I called the corporate office multiple times and was told every time that I would receive a call or email about the incident, I called again and demanded to speak to the supervisor and finally got through to supervisor, who told me that they would escalate the case to their supervisor and district managers. Still no call, it is utterly ridiculous that a entire WEEK has gone by and no call yet pertaining to my dogs injuries. The second reason I am filing this complaint is because they haircut my dog received was nothing that I asked for. His body was in great condition and wasnt matted, however his muzzle was a little matted. I was assured by the groomer that she would keep his hair fluffy and not shave him down, I go to pick him up and he is shaved down completely I asked her why and she stated that she had to shave his body down to match his face, which goes to show me that she didnt want to take the time to work on his muzzle, not only that she did not call me to notify me and let me know that she was going to cut all his hair off ***************. I had to go out and buy my dog a sweater because he is always cold when we go outside due to his hair being shaved down, complete and utter disaster and I will never take my dug to their grooming facility again.

      I went for the vaccination service forI went for the vaccination service for my dog ??which offers the packages which do not put everything in the vaccine package which they ask you to return they want to charge you extra deducting that they did not include in the package

      Apparently petco uses doordash drivers who are challenged when it comes to technology. Ordered a gate ro be delivered. First time says delivered to address on ************** rather than 14th Ave South. They re did the order. New order delivered to ************** again. Now refusing to cancel order since doordash map clearly shows wrong door and wrong place on what looks like ****** maps.If I could give 0 stars I would. I asked them to cancel the order and I would just pick it up at the store since apparently the driver can't tell north from south.Terrible service. While I don't blame them for doordash messing up they could at least look at the evidence Never going there again

      The store staff are great. But online and over the phone is a different story! Ive had a problem where I needed to contact customer service. Over a chat, I was promised one thing that never materialized. Over the course of maybe a dozen chats and calls, I was told that a supervisor would call me back to discuss and make things right. I never once received a call! I dont understand how a company can treat customers this way. I literally spent hours on the phone and on chat with Petco, all to be disrespected and lied to. I guess they dont actually have a customer loyalty or escalations team, which any company of repute should have!!I work for an electrical utility and we **** over backwards to respond to our customers. (And our customers dont have a choice to buy electricity elsewhere!)

      PETCO nightmare. Just wanted to share the horrendous experience that occurred at our local PETCO (***************, ****************)Brought our dog ****** in for a shampoo/haircut, after 30 mins of dropping her off I received a phone call from PETCO informing me that ****** received a little ****** and needed to be picked up.When I arrived, the staff tried to hand ****** over to me and she was bleeding from her leg, which had 3 staples!!! I understand accidents occur, but this was a large and deep laceration, not a ******. Moreover the total lack of empathy to our pet and to me as a customer. Management treated this as a emotionless transaction and simply said they would cover medical bills and the grooming fee.This was total negligence, In the end we requested that PETCO provide us with a home grooming kit, so that she didn't have to endure the possibility of being injured again. The manager said if they had to compensate for every injury that occurs they would spend a fortune... I was shocked at his cavalier response and the frequency to which he stated PETCO negligently injures animals in their charge. I am sharing this experience purely to help warn others to STAY away from PETCO St.******, for your animals sake. Please share if you'd like.

      On Thursday, October 26, 2023.I went to the Petco in ********** ******** for my dogs grooming appointment.His appointment has been set for over a month things went left very quickly from the moment I arrived the grooming manager,******* was very angry and agitated just because I had arrived.She told me that she would not be grooming my dog on Thursday.I asked her why she told me she needed an up-to-date copy on his shot records.This of course was no problem since I had a copy of all of his records in my car which may I remind you was only in the parking lot about five seconds away from the grooming door.She was not happy with this.She canceled the groom and refused to let me go to my car to bring her the shot records.I reminded her again that they were only in my car, which was in the parking lot of the business, she still canceled the groom, and then she proceeded to shout at me that she would not be scheduling him another.I told her this was unacceptable and that I needed my dog groomed.He had his appointment set and waited for over a month and she cancelled it without reason she didnt want to view his shot records to see that they were up-to-date all the way to the year of **** she angrily booked him another appointment after she wrongfully canceled the first one she set him up for Saturday, October 28, 2023.He was set for a two hour groom from 10 AM to 12 PM and she arrived two hours late to the two hour groom and then she called me to pick up my dog and said she would not be servicing him.I got there at 12:05 to pick up my dog, she said she would not be servicing him at all I asked why she told me it was because of my race and culture.She stated to me on camera due to my cultural difference and age I could not receive service.I know this is why she refused us service Thursday. I recorded everything as she continued for 45 minutes degrading me racially slurring me, aggressively approaching me and slandering me.Racism is discriminatory and evil.This was wrong.

      I don't appreciate the way Petco management washed their hands of an in-store promotion for the Klarna app after it backfired. Due to complete ignorance of their own in-store promotion I'm out money for merchandise I didn't receive. The whole ordeal has robbed me of money and 3 hours of my life that I will never get back. Manager ***** seemed to do her best, but kept passing the buck back to me and ******, only to have ****** pass the buck back to Petco - who then flat out refused to deal with the issue. ******** at the ********* ** store was the rudest when I called to address the issue on the 3rd or 4th time. **** poor customer service. On Oct. 1st I downloaded the Klarna app in order to get a discount on a product/purchase at Petco as part of an in-store promotion.After quite an (30min.) ordeal with the Klarna download, myself and making the actual purchase with Petco, the decision was made to cancel the entire transaction.The manager at Petco got a rep from Klarna on the phone and after another 30 minutes we were assured that everything had been resolved with ****** and there would be no charges. On Oct.2 the amount of $35.29 was billed on my CC by ****** despite the previous assurances. After multiple times contacting the Petco store (and now 2 weeks later) they have washed their hands of the situation and pawned me off on Petco corporate customer service who has been of no help whatsoever other than long hold times and a continuing unresolved problem. Petco put me in touch with ******, who also just pawned me off with promises of sending me an email where I was to respond with written documentation of my case. (Despite having now told multiple people the issue - I was to write it down!) I have been assured by Petco of a follow up call, for which Im not holding my breath. Each business says to contact the other, ****** claims they wont return my money until Petco pays them. And for what seems like the millionth time, THERE WAS NO EXCHANGE OF GOODS.
