      Used the Self-Serve-Bath a while back and had a fabulous time with my dog. After my dog dried off his coat felt silky smooth. Also, when shopping for something unique and out of the ordinary the Assoicates are very help and knowledgeable.

      This stores employees misled me when signing up for petcos new subscription plan and told me that i could cancel anytime! They lied to me about this and turns out i am bound to a year contract and I am being forced to pay the monthly premium until the year is up! do not shop at petco they have shady business practices!

      On August 31st I delivered my dog to my local ******** ** Petco for a prearranged 11 am grooming appointment. The dog was not available until after 5 pm, even though I was told she would be available no later than 230. My dog spent five of the intervening hours in a crate, which is horrible customer service and questionable ******************** welfare. The staff, although courteous and helpful, did not seem to know what was going on, and were clearly overwhelmed. It turns out the store had experienced very high staff turnover (I wonder why?), and they were mainly new employees. I was given the customer service number, so that I could speak with the regional manager. I have called about once a week since then, enquiring (1) what had been done to provide the staff with better support and training, and (2) to find out why I should expect better service if I were to use Petco in the future. So far, each time I call the associate logs my complaint, and assures me that someone will call me back. And here we are six weeks later with no call back. I would like answers to my two questions above, from the company which prides itself on excellent customer service and high standards of ******************** welfare.

      I just ordered from Petco for the fist time. I cannot track my order even though it supposedly shipped. Apparently, DoorDash is the delivery service now? I did not choose same day delivery. The package was not supposed to be delivered for five days from the date of the order. Why is DoorDash delivering my package and why is there no tracking? Well Petco, since I don't know the day of delivery since appaently that has been changed, and there is no tracking information YOU are responsible for my items if they go missing from my front porch. I do not park my vehicle, nor do I use my front door very often and I refuse to have to constantly check my porch because I don't know when my delivery is coming.

      Honestly the most terrible vet experience Ive ever had. I took my kitty here to have her ear check out because there was so thing imbedded in it and she was scratching it raw. They sit me in a room that smells terrible like they havent cleaned it at all since the last patient and there is loud music playing making my kitty even more stressed. After the very nice vet tech looked her over she saw what was imbedded and got the doctor. Doctor **** or whatever looks in her ear and goes I dont see anything and proceeded to prescribe me steroid cream which obviously will help the rawness of her ear but there still something f****** imbedded in her ear. He also man handled my cat who has very high anxiety and tried to put her back into her kennel without asking and when she got scared and tried to climb up his arm he raised his voice at her and goes nope Im not dealing with that and proceeded to tell me how much more well behaved his cat was. I am extremely disappointed in the unprofessionalism that he treated me and my kitty with basically saying that it wasnt necessary to do anything more than f****** cream. I also had to ask them twice to give me back my cats medical records thank god I f****** remembered. I will never be coming back here and you shouldnt either. Dont give your money to these people is more worth it to go to a real vet!!!!!!

      Absolutely terrible customer service, after an hour of shopping for fish for my son the employees decide theyre refusing to sell me any fish for my tank. I have a 15 gallon tank and was asking for advice on fish, she mentioned nothing of not letting me purchase fish. After another hour of planning everything for my tank they inform me that theyre refusing to sell me fish. Extremely rude to deny my purchase when I have a perfectly suitable size tank per fish ratio, and to waste my time in letting me shop for another hour before letting me know theyre not going to sell me fish is extremely inappropriate. I have never had such a rude experience in my life. I will never spend any money here ever again and hope this negative review reaches other wanting to share the joys of pet fish with their children..

      Have been purchasing GloFish aquariums and supplies from this store. We had an early annoyance because we had purchased multiple fish, and 2 died right away. When my DEAF son tried to return the fish they hassled him. So we decided that we would no longer return any dead fish just give them "burial at sea". This past Saturday he (my DEAF son)went to the store as we wanted to add 2 more fish. He was again hassled about our water quality, etc. and they wouldn't sell him the 2 fish we wanted, they told him he had to buy 3 fish and they all had to be the same and the same color, which the GloFish website does not say must be done and defeats the purpose of having a colorful GloFish aquarium. I usually send my son because I have a service dog and going to pet stores in the middle of the day on a weekend when everyone is out is not fair to him. This same Saturday I dropped off my dog early in the morning and spent over $170.00 getting my dog groomed. Because they seem to like to take advantage of people with disabilities and they will not be getting any of my business any longer. It is sad because my service dog loves getting groomed there but I have already cancelled all my appointments with Petco and am looking for a new groomer.

      I have no choice but to give this location one star when they deserve zero. I bought two Leopard Gekos from this store, and it's been a nightmare to get consistent food for my lizards at this location. They are always out of stock, and when they do have the food packages, they contain dead insects. It's very disappointing. I have called customer service several times. I have been desperate at times, paying full price for items that contain dead worms just to feed my lizards what little live worms that remain. They should not be selling lizard if they can not meet the needs of the community when it comes to feeding them. I will definitely use another store for my pets needs. This includes my other pets. I will be discouraging my family friends from buying here too. Even if it means making the trip myself to other stores to get their pets' food.

      I left a bad review about MY EXPERIENCE about constantly being cancelled for appointments and these people call me on TODAY *** IN ********* ** to tell me they cancelled me AGAIN because I left a negative review! That is CRAZY how can you continue to cancel my appointments because of a review on HOW I FELT AS A CUSTOMER! ********************** in Grandview is TRASH and very racists!
