      They asked me to take a survey for my opinion on the economy and I assume, my willingness to buy pet products. The 1st question was about what kind of pets you had the 2nd asked me my age. I said over 68. Then they weren't even interested in my opinion. So I gather older people so not spend money on their pets. That's AGE DISCRIMINATION in my opinion.

      Not this store but Petco as a whole I will never support or spend my money again. Made an online order for it to magically never be found. I went in person to try and pick up but they couldnt find the order and I end up having to purchase the same item in store. I called to get a refund on my online order after 40 minutes on the phone they could not refund because they are claiming I picked up when I didnt I had to repurchase. I called the store to see if they could cancel to no help either. I called back again and was on hold again for them to tell me they could not refund. I am so upset and disappointed that something so simple to cancel a order is now me forced to take a store credit for a place I will never shop again. Its 2023 your online order and process shouldnt be this terrible.

      I came with my dog as a walk in nail trim. I was at the counter for about 15 minutes before I was acknowledged. After that, the lady told me it would be 10 minutes. As a walk-in I would expect that. 10 minutes later, she told me 10 minutes again. 15 minutes later (45 minutes now) she asked my dogs name, and proof of rabies vaccination. I told her my dogs name and showed her our rabies tag. Rabies tags have serial numbers. She then told me that wasnt acceptable, they couldnt service my pet. I didnt read that anywhere in the policy she based that off of. She couldnt show me or reference that policy anywhere. Apparently that rabies serial number isnt accessible through a national or even state RABIES database. Whats the point? All of this would not have bothered me so much if I hadnt been sitting there with a crying dog for close to an HOUR. This could have been handled in 5 minutes. I still cant find the policy about rabies paperwork anywhere. I have spent my last hour at PETCO.

      They put my golden doodle in a small crate for over 4 hours to wait for grooming, so I requested for my new appointment a large crate because she suffered from anxiety after that. So, I had an appointment today and took my door there but was told maybe, but if a bigger dog comes, she'll go in a small one. I politely said thank you and left. My poor dog can't be cooped up in a small crate for hours, such a long period of time. I feel that it is animal abuse so I made an appointment elsewhere. The location was in *******, ***** on Farm to Market ****. What a horrible system they have. I'm also reporting them to the animal abuse people.

      I wish I could rate it less that 1 star. First off, the cashier by the name of ******** at store located on *********************************. My brother noticed that the scale for the cookies he was weighing for me already started off at .17 lbs and he charged me $11.59 for itesally 9 cookies. Not only that, he saw that I was carrying 10 items and he didn't offer me a bag for .10cents. I didn't even know they charged for the bag until after he completed the transaction. When I asked him why he didn't offer me a bag for the 10 items I have, he said "I didn't think you wanted one." I'm so disgusted at his response.

      I took my dogs there for grooming and they took an unbelievable time doing the job,.for one from 09:00 to 13:00 and the other from 14:00 to 18:00 and it was terrible to be charged for extra money for disposal (WHAT THE ***** why we have to pay for them to throw away the hair and the nail trimming DISPOSAL ??? another thing my dogs are small, so the prices there are extremely high. Please avoid this place.

      Went on the website to order dog food since I was almost out and it was cheaper then another online place. I saw that I was able to get it the next day so I ordered it, thinking I would be ok and not run out of food for my dogs. Now the tracking says the food will not be arriving the next day like the site and final order said and will be delivered in 4 days. So no matter what I still have to go to the store and buy another bag. If they would have not been deceiving on the website I would have just gone to the store in the first place and would not have ordered on the site and now spend more money!!

      It seems that I am not the only one complaining about their fraudulent practices regarding their ************** Program. While shopping for a **** tank and supplies, the floor associate informed me of their ********** Program which offers a 20% continuous discount on any fish pet items, but assesses a monthly charge of $10 at which I can cancel at any time. This is incorrect as the ********** Program is an annual membership that you are unable to cancel. I only found this out after checking out at the register and receiving an email stating the terms of the membership, which you only receive AFTER you make your purchase. You don't sign anything up front. I contacted Petco and ********** Program and neither are able to cancel because they say it's an annual membership yet their workers do not tell you that it is an annual membership and do not give you any document or pamphlet to read before signing up for the program, This is a classic BAIT AND SWITCH.

      The v ital care premium plan is a scam. They dont tell you its a year commitment in the store and bury it in tos on a tiny screen when youre in line. And then it doesnt work. The store discounts dont work with it. It didnt take the amount I loaded off my total (check your reciepts).And customer service is a joke.The manager of the ***********, ** store couldnt produce my receipt after less than 2 weeks. He was really rude to me and basically called me a liar and that petco didnt need my business in front of my kids.I hope a giant class-action gets going on their practices. Ill be glad to help in that effort

      Embarrassed and disgusted Highand ******* location. Grabbed toys from your front bin display 2 for 5 dollars. I was charged ***** per toy. I said those are not the correct price and it is no fault of me the consumer and they need to honor the displayed price, she laughed said I am not doing that it's in the wrong spot. Refused to do it. I made a case with the ************ Never got a return call from the DM as I was told I would. The manager in the front still has one of the toys, by law I had already paid for it she refused to give it to me and walked away, really committing theft of my product as I still have not been refunded. I canceled all three of my paid for monthly programs with this disgusting company and still no call 7 days later.
