      Never emailed receipt for vaccination records. After we mentioned hundreds of times we were traveling and even got medication for his anxiety the vet never gave ** a paper in order for us to travel with him. Now i have to cancel hundreds of $ ** travel costs and miss family events because we cant travel with the dog.The Vetco portal is a joke i have no access to his records what so ever so how am i suppose to travel with him and follow guidelines when the institution that provide the examinations and testing couldn't comply with their end? But they will try to push the vital care package and not forget about that oh no. Absolutely frustrated and disgusted with the outcome of this.

      Im done with PETCO! **************** is the worst. People are rude and really dont care what your concerns are. It should really be called customer disservice! They offer a buy 10 get one free deal, but then when you try to collect, they say that you didnt follow the rules. But they never tell you what the rules are when they set up your deal. They say that P*** runs downhill, well PETCO is full of p*** I have rescued for over 25 years and always have 3-4 pets in my home at any given time. I spend $200 a month and more on food. Wont be buying anything from PETCO ever again. They lie and cheatand theyve lost my business. Can I give negative star ratings?

      My dog received his 6th **** today. I thought I had 2 more baths before I could get my free bath (grooming) for my dog. The cashier told me that unless I registered the baths on the ***** care website; those 6 baths did not count. That was news to me. I have been going to this store for 2-3 years. NO one told me to go to a website and log in a bath date for my dog.I was charged **** for PETC-MATERIALS FEE. What is that fee for?Also, my dog did not get his free bandana. Was that false advertisement by Petco. The location is ******************************************************************* My vital care number is active, I do not see anything about losing 6 baths.I don't care about the scarf. I just want my 6 dog baths to count.

      Charged me for items they didn't have in stock and aren't sending. Totally fraudulent company. Will never use them again. Even took my payment then said I had no order at one point. Terrible business!

      I was at the Cranston Petco a few weeks ago and was falsely told about their ********** program and that you cannot cancel and you have to stay on for a year. 1st of all, that was not told to me and I explained that I couldn't read their computer screen due to visual impairment. I have tried to cancel this and I'm being told I have to wait a year. This is utterly ridiculous and know way I should be told that I have to stay on this useless program that I'm on disability and do not want to keep paying.

      Disgusting conditions. I filed a complaint years ago and I was told that they would improve, obviously they did not. They will leave rodents, birds, reptiles, and all other animals dead in the cages and not clean them up when they needed to. I applied and was denied, and the person who was hired in my stead is oblivious to their job and careless with their actions. It is sad to see these people still in business and abusing animals, shame on them. I wish I did not have to be so rude, but this business is an amalgamation of what pet-care should be. The general manager unfortunately has not done anything to better the conditions of the animals and has instead tried to justify. This store needs to be shut down. The people who work here do not deserve jobs relating to animals.

      I moved to ******* in June 2022 and was staying in ******* until the house in ******** was finished. *********** location and ************ were amazing! I wish I could still see them, but unfortunately it is over an hour away. We moved to ******** and transferred the dogs to the ************** location. I have had nothing but issues from the start with them. I brought **** in for diareah in October and walked out with a $700 bill because **************** made me repeat all his tests and said that ******* is different from them. Are they both not Vetco under Petco? Anyway, **** has chronic allergies and has received Cytopoint 3 different times through Vetco. I was told he can come in every 6-8 weeks to get his shot and wouldn't have to go through an exam every time. Well in January of 2023 I was put on leave and asked ****** the manufacturer of Cytopoint to help me get his shot because I couldn't afford it at $210 per shot plus visit charges. When **************** sent it back he refused to help us and required ANOTHER exam before approval. Now **** has been suffering without his meds since January. My other dog Xena has been seen for extreme anxiety issues and was diagnosed and put on 300mg of trazadone twice a day. Again, ******* was great and never an issue, in fact they even approved a month for me because ************** kept wanting more exams. Finally, on her last visit I worked with the other vet at ************** and said if I have her examination done there that they could them approve her meds from *******, which made no sense at all to me because your other location was already doing this for us, again a Vetco in ******* should be able to transfer to a Vetco in *********. I paid the additional $60 for the exam. When ******* sent the prescription approval last month **************** denied the meds without an exam. Now Xena is going on 2 weeks without her meds. It is very clear that Dt. ****** is all about the money and could care less about my dogs. Don't ever use this clinic!

      First of all, Petco is overpriced. I took my dog in for a vet appointment and a couple of hours later I remembered I needed a flea prescription. When I asked to get one they told me, I should have asked when I was there. Now how am I supposed to get flea medication? They want me to return with the dog and pay another visit fee. REDICULOUS!

      Today 3/30/23 I walked into this Petco. There was two corn snakes in a tank. One was dead. He was being eaten by a mealworm, which had crawled in from the bearded dragon next to its tank. I was disgusted to see this, and the employee was spraying the tanks like nothing was wrong. Not only was this horrifying to see, its awful that they had not noticed long enough for there to be a SMELL.

      I went a few days ago to purchase 1 fish for add to my 3-gallon tank. Which I had one ***** dalmatian and one pelco. I wanted another ***** dalmatian to have and the young lady in the fish department questioned everything about the type of environment and water that I used and pump. She refused service. She stated "you have way to many fishes in your tank and I will not give a fish or sale any more fishes" I asked her kindly that I was not asking her for her opinion and that I've never had an issue with someone selling me a fish. This is my first time having this type of hobby and I finally go all the dynamics down and how to care for them. I asked 3 times nicely and she was like nope I am not selling you any fishes, if I were you, I would get rid of the pelco or the other ***** because all you are doing is killing them. Really??? Because I've had both living together for 2 months now and nothing as of today. And this is not the first time she has been rude and refused to sell any fishes at all. When I initially started, I asked for 3 guppies since they were tiny and per the ratio 3/gallon and she said no i am not selling them to you. She has completely refused service. This is a store that sells things so you're denying a fish. One fish??? I was angry. I really wanted to cause a scene, but I refused since there were other families there. I also overheard another family trying to buy fishes and she also refused to sell them fishes. Well Petco on Presidio, either you do something about your employee, or you'll be having a ton of fishes that aren't selling and not making y'all any profits because of her. I've never ever had that happened to me at that location. I am just going to go to PetsMart from now on.
