      Lack of competence. I attempted to order pet wormer for my 2 dogs on their website and it wouldn't allow me to order more than one product at a time. After spending over 30 minutes on hold, I was helped by a poor English speaking person that took another half hour to "fix" the situation only to find out days later that my orders where cancelled by them. I will NEVER use this company again!

      Petco is the worst! A year ago, I ordered some expensive prescription meds for my dog. Petco had a promotion that was considerably less expensive if you signed up for autoship. I ordered a year's supply and when they arrived, the packaging was terrible and the package was smashed. The tablets were in blister packs and some of the tablets were smashed to pieces. At this point I was not impressed. So, I went to their website and cancelled my autoship. Fast forward one year, and I receive an email that my credit card had been charged over $150 for a new shipment of the same meds. I immediately called their customer service number and talked to a female that I could barely understand. Her English was terrible. I explained the situation politely and asked if the order had shipped. She said the order hadn't shipped and I asked that the order be cancelled before it shipped and have the funds credited back to my credit card. She said that she would take care of it and that the order was now cancelled and the refund would show up on my credit card account within 3 business days. So today, four days later, I get a notification that the order had now shipped. I immediately called the "so called" service number and spoke to a rep. I again explained the situation and I was informed that the meds were not returnable. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for ever. I never did get to talk to a supervisor, but the rep got back with me and said I would get a refund in the next 3 business days and to just refuse the order. Unfortunately, it will be delivered via **** and I have a mail box, so I rarely see the delivery person. This is such a screwed up mess. I don't have much confidence that I will ever see the refund.I highly recommend never doing any business what-so-ever with Petco. They are pathetic!

      ****** Mo. Store Awesome people in the store. Specifically *******, by phone assistance, *** and a young man didn't get his name; back in aquariums. Were so nice and patient; especially *** helping me pick out fish, and ******, register. Please do something nice for them, Sincerely, ***********************

      I wish I could give Petco 0 stars. The way they do business is alarming and I cant believe it has taken me this long to realize it. Like many others below I had cancelled my reoccurring orders after realizing how much I was overspending with Petco. Shortly after I received an email stating my reoccurring order had been placed and would be on its way soon. I caught it almost immediately and called Petco. The customer service rep assured me the order would be cancelled and my card refunded and I would receive a confirmation email shortly. Later that day I saw the order had not been cancelled and was still showing as active, the pending charge on my card still stood (my bank is quick about clearing pending charges) so I reached back out to Petco customer service. Again, I was reassured the order was cancelled and I would be refunded, just to wait *****hrs for it to reflect. The next day I got a notification that my order shipped. I reached out for a third time, again I was told they would cancel it and I would be refunded it would just be *****hrs to show on my bank account but that Id be able to see on my Petco account that the order was cancelled. Of course, it wasnt cancelled. Today I clicked on the tracking and sure enough its en route to my house. The pending charge did not drop and instead went through which tells me the charge was never cancelled to begin with despite reassurance from 3 separate customer service reps that it would be. I, again, reached out and have again been reassured my card would be refunded and to just wait ***** hours. This was after lots of insisting I just refuse the package as though I sit at my doorstep all day waiting for *** to arrive. Overall, Im perturbed and a bit irate at how impossible they made the simple task of cancelling an order this complicated. This is sketchy business dealings at best. Theyve lost me a customer permanently.

      H*** no Vetco Total Care Petco whatever they want to call themselves They are a scam rude selling bad fish I went back the next day because two out of the six fish died both the bottom feeders which looked almost dead to begin with I ***************************** got screwed See my review ignore the bird and don't report me to my pastor even tho ***** sees it allCheck out this review of Petco on ****** Maps *************************************

      After waiting for a half hour for crickets, and 4 trips back and forth to ask for help, the woman that my wife had to ask to help us was MORE than rude. Told my wife if she could "take a number" after pointing out another employee selling fish and said it was supposed to be her job. Then, after finally getting said crickets the lady very rudely shoved the crickets in my wife's hands and walked away. Then as she walks around the corner, the woman proceeded to give us the "up yours" arm gesture. Not to mention, vital care is an annual subscription. They pressure you into buying it and tell you that it's only $10 a month but don't inform you of the inability to cancel before the year is up.

      Terrible business most of the complaints are similar as mine. poor service management dismissive. i ordered 2 bags of dog food had same day delivery which i paid for. Apparently petco uses doordash for delivery. Well two bags were picked up but only one bag was delivered. ******** left picture of one bag delivered. i called petco talked to manager who didnt seem to care or take responsibility. She said once door dash picks it up its no longer their concern. asked could you at least tell me if two bags were picked up. She said she had no idea and couldnt tell me. i said how do you keep track of your inventory. She really didnt care! i told her i was going to contact petco corporate she said go ahead! She really acted like she could give a S%IT about that. Any ways this was in ******* ****. Ill use petsmart for now on. I called doordash they took more interest and action then petco did. Can you give a negative star on here?

      this is really for petco corporate office. i canceled all of my reoccurring orders when i realized how much they were overcharging me. Then, three days later I received an email congratulating me that my order had been reinstated and shipped. How very nice of them. They hit my bank account for over $300 that i was not expecting. Luckily i always have wiggle room in my checking account or this really could have been disastrous. About a month ago they just took about $60 from my checking account and deleted my order. I called customer service and of course they were no help at all. NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

      Horrible service Petco(**********, **) ****** (Store Manager) made it happen. I visited Petco to practice public access with my service dog and to shop. I had my trainer support. We shopped and talked. I wanted some boots for my dog. My friend helped me pick out a pair. She left the store and I purchased the boots. The trainer texted me she was addressed by ****************** Manager about being in the store for 1hr (nasty tone). He said she couldn't train in his store because we train. She denied training and he said I heard commands. I apologize to my friend/trainer for Petco managers behavior. I purchased the boots for my dog. ****** looked me in my face walked past me and said nothing. I asked the cashier if he was the only manager as he walked out the office and pass me again. ****** never said anything to me regarding his concerns. So now I am thinking do you only watch black people that shop with a white woman for an hour. Or did you only watch because I was the only black customer in the store. I did tell my dog to sit a couple of times when I was looking at things. Is that a crime? Or is it a rule that you cannot give commands to a dog in Petco unless you are a Petco trainer. My dog was wearing a service dog vest and ****** never offered to help during his hour watch or speak on his concerns. I am disabled and it's not visual. ****** actions were triggers for me. ****** refused to address the person who caused his issue. Which was the black disable girl with a dog who had a trainer assist her during public access. Profiling and discrimination is what I felt. ****** should be discipline for his actions. He also should be aware the store does not offer certified Service Dog Training. He has cause a set back with me being in public with my dog. I have been effected. I will continue to tell this story to whoever listens until something is done. Profiling & discrimination is real. The world cannot change for the better with people like ****** around.

      Do not be tempted to order on-line from this outfit. You will likely spend hours on the phone with their Petco ************************** people who seemingly have neither the authority or inclination to help resolve problems of their own making. Don't do it - you have been warned!
