I purchased 3 books for $37.99. I confirmed my order. Then a month later they charged me $103.79 for a monthly subscription. I looked back through my order; confirmations and emails no where does it say that I signed up for monthly subscription, If we can buy 3 books for $37.99 why does the next ones cost that much each? i sent an email and the customer service automatic response said they would respond in 48 hours. I searched and searched to find a customer service phone number. After finally finding the "CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMEBR" ON "YOUR" WEB SITE I CALLED IT. you cant talk to anyone, leave a message all it tells you is to go on line and fill out form. to be selling ********* books they are not acting like *********. Very poor customer service. I want to cancel the subscription immediately! i will be glad to send back any books that have mailed out other my original order. No further physical books are sent, but you do get access to a large library of digital content. After the order was placed, you should have received an email with instructions for accessing the content as well as how to cancel the trial if you are not interested. If the the 30-day period lapses without a cancellation, you would be billed the yearly subscription charge. I certainly don't want you to pay for something that you didn't want and won't use. I have refunded all charges associated with the subscription and confirmed that it is cancelled as well. You should see the refund within 3-5 business days.

On 10/2/22 I placed an order with Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream Publishing for 6 books for a total of $68.52, Order #*******. I have yet to receive the order. On 11/1/22 I received an additional charge to my credit card for $101.32 for something I did not order, nor do I want. I called the phone number of their website, which instructs you to go on their website and file a ticket to resolve the issue. I followed all instructions, but the website was vague and their was no way to speak with a person or even leave a message for a person. I feel this is a scam. Any legitimate company would have some way to speak with a representative, or even leave a message on their website. I am very disappointed, especially since the books were of a religious nature. I would like the entire amount that has been charged to my credit card to be refunded and the order for the books canceled. This is a very sad and deceitful way to do business! This company states they respond to customers within 24 hrs, they do not. I did not order a digital annual program for $97.00 and therefor should not be charged for such without my authorization! This is 2022, what kind of company doesnt have a phone to respond to consumer concerns? I have many issues with this company and do not wish to EVER do business with them again!! I ordered some cute books from Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream on Sept 26,2022 for $58.90. I received books and very much enjoyed them. However, on Oct 27th I noticed an additional pending charge from the company for a subscription to their digital library in the amount of $102.82!!! I never ordered a subscription! I do NOT want a subscription and I want my $102.82 back ASAP! I noticed it pending in my bank account earlier and contacted bank to stop transaction. I tried to reach out to the company as well. I think I sent 2 or 3 messages and no response. Who doesnt have a number to call that you can actually reach someone. Cant leave VM so no return calls and then they say to fill out a help ticketcertainly they pay zero attention to this said help desk tickets that you can submit. This company is such a scam! I want my supposed subscription canceled immediately and my money back! The $102.82! This business should be shut down immediately! Stealing from people! Seriously! I ordered books on Sept 12, 2022 which cost ***** (which we really love) but then on Oct 11, 2022 my credit card was charged an additional ****** - when I didn't order anything. I went to log in to see what this was about - and it's saying I don't even have an account. Why am I being charged? I tried to go through customer service but that website wasn't working ... just was loading the entire time. It's pretty awful that I'm being charged for heaven only knows what when I don't even have an account. Is this a scam? On 10/1/22 order one set of books and was charged for 2. Called within 1/2 hour and notified them of the error. They said the customer purchased 2 and it cannot be changed. Already to be sent. Then 10/30 I get a declined charge from my credit card **. ? Fraud. This ** was charging another $53. I called credit card and reported fraud charge.Business Response

I am ok with BBB closing this complaint. I want nothing to do with this company. I called them 1.2 hour after I saw the order was wrong and they refused to correct it then. So this is a bunch of ****** FAR THE added charge for subscription, I was unable to stop that. Concerning your 2 separate orders for books going to *****, we do show that you placed the separate orders for these about an hour apart through the web. I understand that you are saying that you called us within a half hour of realizing your error, however, the only way to contact our ********************** is through our live chat function or an email. I am not sure who you could have spoken to. I do show that you contacted us via email on 10/4 (the order was placed on 9/30). We have 24 hours in which to cancel an order, so therefore this would have been too late to cancel. Our Customer Support Agent did let you know that you could either refuse the shipment when it arrived or that you could ship them back to us for a refund. Because we want our customers to have a great experience, I have refunded one of the two orders you placed for the ***** address. You will see this within 3-5 days. Please let the recipients know that they are welcome to donate the books to a local library or to another family who can benefit from them.
In regards to the subscription charge, as previously stated, you have not been charged and the subscription is cancelled in our system.
I hope that this addresses all of your concerns and that we can consider this a closed matter.

After I got the books, they charged another charge of $106.22 on Oct. 24, 2022 and they tried to charge another charge on Oct. 30,2022. The charge of $38.82 is legitimate. I have a charge on my credit card that I didnt order anything. The date on card is 10/25 charge was on card 10/28. I didnt order anything. I dont know what they are doing! But I read other complaints and they are just like mine. I am disabled and 70 years old snd in a fixed income . I cant pay for this and I didnt and will not order anything else from these people.
