    I love the books because they all teach a ****** to the kids. The illustrations are what will hold the kids attention and even make them linger and search the picture. I order them for presents for various occassions and especially love the ones that teach them about God and His Son *****.

    Ordering through this company for the first time was everything I had hoped for from beginning to end. We love the books and look forward to ordering again and appreciate the way they connect by email also.

    I was charged over 100 dollars for books I never ordered. This company is s a rip off and the books are not all that great. Really bad business practice to charge credit cards without the customers in knowledge. Bad **************** But when you look online all ratings are 5 stars. I'm sure they are not factual either.

    ******, I apologize for any confusion regarding this order. Certain items include a 7-day free trial of our digital content with your purchase. We do our best to ensure that customer's are aware of the free trial, with information pertaining to it presented on multiple pages in the purchasing process. It is also included as an item in the final order page for your review before submitting payment. After the order was placed, you should have received an email with instructions for accessing the content as well as how to cancel the trial if you werent interested. Since the 7-day period lapsed without a cancellation, you were billed the yearly subscription charge. I certainly don't want you to pay for something that you didn't want and won't use. I have refunded all charges associated with the subscription and confirmed that it is cancelled as well. You should see the refund within 3-5 business days.     Please do not support this book company. I, like many other customers on several other platforms, was scammed by Puppy Dogs & Ice Cream Inc. I purchased three books for my children and without realizing it, I was charged $97 USD ($128.75 CAD) for a digital library which I never added to my cart. I only realized this recently as I was reviewing my credit card charges. I tried to locate a phone number but was not able to reach anyone to discuss this matter, nor was there any opportunity to leave a voice message. I resorted to reaching out via email but was informed that Puppy Dogs & Ice Cream Inc would not refund my credit card since their refund window has passed. I requested that an exception be made but there was no flexibility or willingness to help on their part. It is very unfortunate to be charged such a large amount for a digital library that I have never used. I am appalled by this company's lack of effort to provide a refund. $128.75 is a significant amount of money that could have been put to good use elsewhere for my children. I am certainly not one to offer a poor review, however, I felt it was necessary given the large amount of money that was charged to my credit card without my awareness for a service that was never accessed. This experience has had a major negative impact, not only on myself, but for other customers and I would not want this to happen to anyone else in the future.

    ********, I see that you corresponded with our **************** Manager yesterday, on 2/28. As she explain ined, the items you are ordering (including the 30-day free trial) are presented on the final screen before you submit payment for your order. We also send additional confirmation emails that explain how to access the digital library and how to cancel the subscription if you are not interested. Even if a customer fails to see these emails and the free trial lapses, we will normally refund the cost if the digital library has never been accessed. Once we reach over 180 day from the charge, however, there is no way for us to refund the charge as it is now too old and the refund attempt is declined by the card issuer. I hope this helps clarify.

    I was mislead on the price of 3 books, after receiving those books I was charged 104.78$ for a subscription I never wanted!

    I was charged $101.97 in early January for a subscription I did no authorize. You cannot reach anyone by phone. They will only respond by email. I have an email from 1/5 stating they apologized and would refund within 3-5 days. Weeks later and I am still waiting. They keep saying they are looking into it. I am going to contact the fraud **** on my card.

    ******, I have researched this situation and see that my Customer Support Team has tried to refund this charge on 10 separate occasions. Each time they were given the error message: Processor returned: Failed to refund transaction. This normally means that a dispute for the charge has been input or that the refund is being blocked by the card issuer for some reason. In instances like this, we recommend getting with the card issuer to have them work on the refund from their end. PDIC Customer Support

    First and for most you did not contact me to tell me, if and when you tried the refund and tell me there was an issue. I have asked at least 4x for the transaction ID they are using to process the refund and they have not supplied it to me. My bank has assured me if they are using the same transaction ID from the original charge it would not be a problem. I think this is just a way to avoid the issue at hand. The bank manager I work with was out today but I have left her a detailed message. After 379+ claims on BBB I dont believe anything you say. I am only aware of 3x you have tried to refund me not 10 per your BBB reply. It ***** you have no phone contact with your customer!!! At this point I dont believe anything you say.

    After continuing to push for my credit I finally was able to get it this week. I had asked them several times to use the original transaction ID and they did not. Each time they tried to send a credit it was a new transaction ID not matching the original so it was rejected. Finally my bank had to reopen the credit card I had canceled due to the unauthorized charge originally. Then the credit did go through. Way to much stress for almost 2 months to get this taken care of.

    Content of books is good, but the company is shady and should probably be reported to the Attorney General in **********.DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE IF YOU WANT SUDDEN, UNEXPLAINED CHARGES ON YOUR CREDIT CARD.Their website does a very poor job of LETTING YOU REVIEW YOUR ORDER BEFORE BUYING. I bought these using my phone.I accidentally bought more books than I expected because I didn't see a screen that told me exactly what I was ordering.When I completed checkout, all it told me was that the order was received. When I got an email confirmation, the email did not say explicitly what I had ordered or for how much.When I tried to cancel the book order that I didn't intend to buy very soon after purchase, I was told it had already been shipped, and I could not refund the order until I shipped it back. They gave me a 20% off discount for the order I didn't original intend to buy, so I kept the extra books. A month later, I'm charged OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A SUBSCRIPTION I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I SIGNED UP FOR?? Apparently, I had left checked that I was interested in a 30 day free subscription for digital books. IF YOU DON'T CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION, YOU GET CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY! Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream is NOT CLEAR THAT THIS WILL OCCUR!They will EMAIL YOU EVERY DAY, Yet somehow they are unable to present you an itemized list of what you are buying before purchase, after purchase, and in an email order confirmation without logging back into the website??!!The content of the books is good, but the paperbacks are very flimsy. Not much better than a magazine in regards to quality. I feel like I overpaid for what I got.This company IS NOT TRANSPARENT WITH DOING BUSINESS! SUCH A SHAME when I was just trying to teach my child about emotional intelligence. PLEASE do a ****** search for Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream scam". You will see that many other people have had the same experience!
