January ******* at 10:45 a.m. My husband and I went into Jack in the box on *************** Tx A small child between the ages of 6 and 9 was in the dining room playing with toys I'm assuming it was one of the employer employees children or possibly the manager's child the child went behind the counter touching the prep table walking behind where the cooks were preparing the food showing his mom his iPad the mom may have been the manager she was the only one in street clothes she was on her phone playing a game because of the body language and sounds coming from her mouth she put her phone down to help the child with his iPad I'm concerned Why the child was behind the counter with his hands all over the prep area going back behind where the cook prepares food with his hands all over the place I do not believe this is safe I contacted our local health department and trying to reach your customer service phone number is not a really good experience I'd appreciate some feedback and what you can do to resolve this issueBusiness Response

I ordered food from the Jack in the Box located in ********** store number 64 and the phone number there is ************. I was redeeming a buy one get one free coupon for a jumbo ***** I asked ******* the cashier to add cheese but he over charged me. It was more than I normally pay. ******* had a very nasty attitude when I asked about the price discrepancy and what I was charged on my last visit. ******* was unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. I ended up talking with the other manager and she explained to me what the other manager did and it was resolved. I paid for the extra cheese which was fine but ******* was "rude" ! Period, no other way to describe it. When the manager explained it to me, the charge came out to what I normally pay...$6.51 for the extra cheese. The issue was not really about the order but more about the level of service and ********* attitude.Business Response

On 1/9/2025 @ 10:07 am I Entered the Jack in the box store number 3254 and was greeted by a lady named ****** she appeared very agitated from the start I ordered a breakfast platter when I received my breakfast the order was made incorrectly and I asked ****** to please correct the order and she said no you get what you get you can leave now Very rudely I was kind of shocked and I said well can I please just get a refund then she said no leave now as I had done nothing or said nothing to escalate this situation I was very confused as to why she was treating me this way I told her this is not how you treat your customers I'm going to complain to your district manager she said I don't care leave the store I read some reviews and saw that there are other people complaining about this behavior I have not heard any word back from the district manager from my complaint and wanting to receive my refund I think this business needs to be looked into there is absolutely no excuse to treat customers the way they do take their money and give them no refund for very poor quality service this needs to be addressed thank youBusiness Response

Thank you for contacting us. There was no automated response. I emailed the guest personally and so did mt colleague ********. We informed Gst that we will notify the Sr. ***** team, and we have and email the guest comments to the district manager and Franchisee. We offered apology letter and certificate and did not hear back from this guest.
This was a store visit, and the $7.00 refund has to be made in person at the location since *********** cannot refund a store visit. We offered certificates to be used at any Jack in the Box locations.
Guest has both emails and can respond to them with the mailing address and we will be happy to send the Apology letter and certificates.
We acknowledge the guest was unhappy with the EEs behavior and we apologize again. Disciplinary actions will not be shared with public.
Guest can contact us directly through emails we have set out.

I used their app to place an order realized the order in the first pic was placed at a restaurant 90 miles from me. I tried to call restaurant to cancel no one answers the phone there called it 15 times since. After realizing this I ordered from correct restaurant in pic 2. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid visiting this Jack in the Box location, as my experience was nothing short of frustrating and appalling. On Saturday, January 4, 2025, my daughters went to pick up an order at this particular Jack in the Box, and it turned into an ordeal that was both disrespectful and completely ***************** started when they were attempting to pay for their order. The employee, named ****, was immediately rude and confrontational. He falsely claimed that the card payment had not gone through, despite the transaction being processed correctly on our end. He continued to argue with my daughters, shouting at them in a manner that was completely unnecessary. After this unpleasant exchange, it turned out that he had charged us twice for the same meal.I decided to call later that night to try and resolve the issue. When I spoke to ****, I was met with the same level of rudeness and hostility. He was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. This initial interaction alone left a sour taste in my mouth, but unfortunately, the situation only escalated further.On Monday, January 6, I reached out to the manager, ******, in hopes of speaking to someone who might actually address the situation with a level of professionalism. Sadly, my expectations were once again shattered. ****** was just as rude and disrespectful as ****, if not worse. After a brief conversation, he actually hung up on me, leaving me completely stunned at the lack of courtesy and customer ********** if this wasnt bad enough, I discovered that half of my order was missing. When I brought this up with ******, he told me that I should have returned the food in order to get my money back. This was incredibly frustrating because, when I originally tried to speak to ****, he was so rude and dismissive that returning the food at that point seemed impossible. I purchased a gift card at the *********** location as a present for my husband. He went to use it on 1/3/24 and the store that issued the card said it was declined and not valid. I contacted the number on the back and they verified there was $20 balance left on card, which does not make sense because that was the first time he tried to use the card and it should have $25 on it, so it was also missing $5. I told the customer service *** at ************ that the card is not working at the restaurant and they will not reissue a card. The *** said the card was valid and that it was the stores fault for not continuing to try to use the card. I have also called Jack in the Box corporate office and whenever I call it says they are closed. At this point I have hit a wall and can't get any resolution. I would like a ***lacement card that works, a store gift coupon or a refund. One of those will suffice, as long as they work.Business Response

Thank you for contacting us. We show the card has a $20.00 balance and is active. the card was purchased for $20.00 and not $25.00. If the location's system was not able to read the card, they would respond with card not being invalid. The card is valid and active and has a $20.00 balance. Should the guest choose to try the card again, they are welcome to do that, or they can contact us and we can replace the card and activated it once the new card is received.

On 12/25/24, i placed an online order for pickup. Upon arrival, the doors were locked so i had to pick up through the drive-thru. There were 6 cars in line. After about 20 minutes, none of the cars had advanced so i left without my food. I contacted corporate offices via their online complaint for on 12/25 (after my visit) again on 12/31 and i contacted the store to request a refund on 1/2. I bought a $25 gift card for a Christmas gift. On Jan 3, 2025 used it at the local JITB only to be told there was only $13 on it so my son paid the difference got the food and left not realizing that he wasnt given a receipt or the empty(?) card back.
