    Once they get their hooks in you you're pretty much screwed. Of the 5 checks I did on people, including myself, the data was so outdated I couldn't really use it for what I do. After cancelling my acct on their website, I found that im still being charged on my CC. Rather than cancelling my acct they sent me a letter blaming someone else for their mistakes and outdated info. Now I have to get my lawyer involved. Deceptive trade practices.

    I agree with everything the Truthfinder.com detractors are saying about bait and switch. I have no clue about the substance or accuracy of their report, I just know that they don't tell you up front that they are going to charge you and how much ... they just **** up a lot of your time entering information and telling you how great their report will be and then, at the very end they ask for payment before they show you their "fabulous" report.

    I am being double billed. It looks like it is a business practice very shady.The FTC now has a new division dedicated to this type of hustle. They came at my company and we cast 150k per month to fohhh. I am in month 9. I suggest some calm and walk me through your logic. I am giving you a chance to make things right. It would be a great idea to get back to me early before my weekiy call with FTC

    Deceptive practice of having you spend tons of time entering info and waiting for a report to be compiled, and then hitting you with a request for payment before you can see the report. I was expecting that, though, and was willing to pay the $28. Two points on that - if you go through the whole process and then wait a while before paying the $28, they'll send you an email taking 50% off, so you get the report for $14. Also, know that you are purchasing a monthly subscription, so they will charge your card at $28 per month (not the discounted rate they offered for the first month) every month unless you cancel, which I did immediately.In addition, the report is not very good. Lots of inaccuracies and omissions.

    This is a total waste of time and a scam!! I used myself just out of curiosity and after going through everything and answering the questions it finally comes to the end and then requires some form of payment in order to receive and read the results. Why dont they let you know up front that its going to be almost $30 for a one month membership that you have to sign up and pay for in order to receive and read the report!!?? Seems like a very dishonest business practice! The old bait and switch scam!! Please dont waste your time or money with this website and or company. The funny thing is that I have yet to read one single positive review about this website and from what I have read in addition to the bait and switch scam there seems to be a lot of wrong information about the people theyre looking up. That is not a good practice at all because theyre going to cause problems for people with their jobs and or relationships with loved ones and family members!! Very shady and just a huge waste of time and a scam!!
