A complete waste of time and money. trying to look pull a detailed and accurate backround check on my self, and after a myriad of faux timers, leading statements telling me how shocked i am going to be about this "report", and charging me once for a whole month of membership and another charge for downloading the "report" , I received the most half cooked "report" with my basic information that I either provided or could have, lots of inaccurate info. Like 4 pages of sexual offenders in my area, that I, one didn't request, and two could just look up online for free if I was inquiring. All the information I actually wanted "could not be found", including something as simple as place of birth? complete scam

I was a victim of a scammer.I researched all I could find out about the scammers. They trusted me as well and I have their phone number and they will talk with me. I am was looking to get more information on Truthfinder. They show you things they are searching and make you think they found information. Like a Mug shot.I wanted to see the *** report so I gave my credit card. Big mistake. I was charged for many things. A total of $29 and change. I then got the report. Truthfinders had less information then what I found own my own. I immediately canceled my subscription. I had to cancel three separate subscriptions. This was just as bad as the Scammers I was researching. *** DO NOT WASTE YOR TIME OR MONEY ****Truthfinder

It could be legit but I used myself as a person to search the only info it showed was my age states and person I may be related to (that info can be found easy just searching the name) it's only $1.00 but why would you pay that if the only info it shows you before you pay is info you can find just by searching the name to me it's not worth the risk of them charging you a $1.00 one month and more before you cancel the membershipTruthfinder

I had to wait 10 minutes to be told I could spend $30 for unlimited searches for a month, or even more for longer. Those were the ************.That is some serious ***** wanted results for the 1 search I had just finished sitting through. It was for my background. Truthfinder.com advertises that they will find information (current address, etc.) on the person whose name you give them. They do not and do not accept responsibility for providing wrong information. I paid the fee $29.23 plus $4.23. But the information i received on the person I was searching for was almost completely wrong. They only had the name of her last husband correct. They had her birthday and age wrong, the wrong number of children - only 2 were listed and she has 6), They have her living in the house she sold over 2 years ago, and had her living at one time in a town and state she never lived in and gave me information on many people she supposedly knew in that town but never did because she never lived there. I received access to information on people I never asked for. and who she never lived near or knew. When I requested a cancellation I received it but when I requested a refund they suggested I use the account for my own name and other names. I told them I would have to dispute the charges on my credit card if they did not refund me - I did not get an answer or a refund, Besides that, on the very same day I gave this company my credit card number to pay their fees, my credit card number was stolen and charges were made to a take out food chain. Seems someone there may have had dinner at my expense..Truthfinder

I am an ID VICTIM who has asked them to suspend my data after 3 ID PROTECT Companies reported in 2022 they had leaked my data. They finally answered back claiming I must open their APP & make this request from an account! Just asked again since another security company reported 3 of the 5 leakers, including Truthfinder, still haven't locked down the data yet.Truthfinder

Sold me a service that I did not want. Charged me for a month even though after I signed up for which I thought it was a different service, they did a bait and switch and charged me for a month anyway, even though after I cancelled immediately after I signed up. The sales rep hung up on me and was jerk when I was explaining the service that the website showed versus what I received. Do NOT USE this service. Terrible and bad faith.Truthfinder
