I canceled truthfinder months ago and they keep charging me.***** at customer service said she refunded ***** and it hasnt been done yet.And....I am being billed twice in March **** and 3-28.This site is a scam.

While most of these complaints are over the billing, I actually got a report on another *************************** in AZ; I live in ** with a different middle name. Called and got hung up on; called back and had a script-reading a** who talked over me. I demanded my information be removed, a credit applied to my cc, and would have liked a reason for this lack of security over personal information other than 'well, it's a database...'. Terrible. Said it would give arrest records, social media accounts, and more. It told me nothing. All I got was close relatives names(I knew that). A complete was of $35.00. As far as I am concerned this was ***** advertising and a scam. I canceled within mins but still am out my $35.00.Truthfinder

When looking for a site to look someone up the description on the site said free lookup. After waiting through all the searches, they wanted money before I could see the results. Truthfinder.com is a SCAM. I do not recommend this company/site to anyone!Truthfinder

I only consented to one-time usage of *************. I never subscribed or signed anything electronically. I was just robbed for $28.99 and **** respectively. I was scammed and the only report I requested was inaccurate. They try to trick you into a membership. I called customer service and canceled and requested a refund. The man canceled my fake membership_ I guess no refund- he gave some explanation to jump through some hoops and I just hung- up! A bunch of thieves. Dont use this! I did get an email that my ? Membership that I never authorized was canceled!Truthfinder

truthfinder makes you pay after suggesting it is giving you a onetime free report. says it will send the report to your email address but only pushes the sell. i never got my report only the opportunity to buy something i did not need or want. was i curious? yes. would i be willing to pay for a search on myself? not likely. but free, sure. but that is where the bait and switch occurs. and yes this is" bait and switch".i cannot comment on the service because they never provided the service for free.Truthfinder

Lies and deceit I have lost a job and I almost never got my wife because of the lies on this site they draw you in with a fake Criminal Record Report which I read and seems dating like I was a drug runner and Mafia Boss but not true sadly I'm just a normal guy I have 1 speeding ticket and that's it since I was a minor yeah I have had to go to court but it was either I was innocent or they dropped the case because the complaint was false. The most important one is the one that pops up that is not supposed to be there my Minor Record is mixed in I got in trouble at 17 it took them a year to schedule my court date and I had ARD which is supposed to be expunged, considering I was a minor when I was charged you're putting out information that is illegal to have on my record. I will be coming for some kind of resolution, but your site is complete BSTruthfinder

I did a test and Truthfinder did not find current factual information that is publicly available. It is a scam the way they take you through this long process and pretend like there are a bunch of results and then AFTER you pay, you get nothing. This is not an effective tool and it is not worth the amount they charge. They over promise.Truthfinder

We looked up my name my report went back to ****. It had family members that were not mine arrest records that were not mine places I lived and dates were wrong. 1 post about FB about who I became friends with mentioned her name. Like why??? 7 years is all that should be reported. I'm very irritated because people that did have records they did not have listed . I found out you can tell them to delete your report that's what I did. False information can do damage to people's lives.Truthfinder
