The site makes you fill out 20 minutes worth of information and acts like they are going to tell you some thing then finally brings you to a page where they want you to pay almost $30 to see it. They need to stop wasting peoples time and say upfront there is a charge, costly at that!

Doing a search before subscribing takes a couple of minutes. You must subscribe to see results, and subsequent searches are quick. First search makes it appear deeper inquiry is being done, a psychological ploy. I subscribed for one month. After three or four days, site stopped working for me. I couldn't log in, and still can't after contacting 'customer support'. I only got a few days of being able to log in, and even then searches didn't supply much information.Truthfinder

I would agree! Truthfinder is clearly a scam having you sign up for information where others are crimanilizing and getting away with scams! But of course they want you to pay a fee to retrieve the most important in information need for scams! I would never access information from them again. And will communicate how the services or a scam!!!!!!Truthfinder

Signed up for the report, paid the fee, went to the website, clicked on upload report...nothing happened. They also charge a fee of $3.99 on top of the monthly fee to upload the report.Questionable business practices.Truthfinder

Have read these reviews and love the response "While an inaccurate report is rare, this can occur from time to time." I did a test review on a dear friend who had passed away 2 months prior and this site still had the person alive and working. I then did a review on myself and what a joke; also missing information. I was willing to pay for 1 month, but you are immediately put on monthly auto billing and I cancelled immediately. All reviews are sent to the BBB which is also a joke as they do nothing except collect my information. That should be forbidden. WASTE OF TIME!!Truthfinder

I signed up yesterday, I reviewed myself first, just to sort of calibrate the search results, they say they can locate hidden social media accounts, well that's Bulls**t, they can't even find unhidden ones, I mean most people have ******** or ******* if they any at all, yet they couldn't locate mine, after giving my bank information to get these inaccurate results I decided I should just go ahead and cancel, we'll the app all the sudden stopped working, and on the website my account settings will not open, they've managed to block me from having any access to my account details, I'm seriously passed and don't know what to do.Truthfinder

Truthfinder says a month is $28.05 but I was charged $29.33! Then I was charged $4.17. I never agreed to either of these fees and have no idea why $4.17 was charged to my CC. Also, their ad is very misleading. The add says you get access to their social media, etc. What they don't tell you prior to joining is that they want additional money for most of the reports. Terribly misleading and not fair to the customer. Not only did they charge me (and the incorrect amount) they added on an additional fee without my consent. I didn't learn anything that I wanted to know. That info was all more money.Truthfinder

It looked like scam from the start, and it is. It doesn't do anything more than look for public data, it DOES NOT have access to private documents...... when you finish entering information, and it fake-loads the "report" after like 10 minutes, you still have to pay, and they didn't tell you that from the beginning........ so it feels like you should pay now after all that work.Truthfinder

Just what I thought. It has you spend 15 minutes filling out and waiting on records all the while saying things like "be prepared to find" "prepare to find out" blah blah blah then to finally get to the end and they want $$ So much for free site. Y'all should at least be honest from the beginning instead of lying and manipulating the public. Definitely do not use this site!!! And now I had to leave a star rating just to put in this review!!
