Waste of money. Addresses are not updated (a year or more behind). Information is dated. As if that's not enough, despite paying for the service, they continually ask for more money when you try to see information (you must pay more for a dark web check, a phone report, etc.). What did I even pay for with this service!! I wish I could give them zero stars.

TruthFinder compiles hundreds of millions of available public records from several different data sources. We pay for all of the information we provide. Our billing details are prominently displayed before a customer decides to sign up for our services, and these terms can also be reviewed at any time in our Terms of Service. We do not claim to be a free service. In order to view reports, an active membership is required.
While an inaccurate report is rare, this can occur from time to time. When you purchase a background report from TruthFinder, we guarantee that we will search every database available to us. However, because we simply display records as they are provided to us, we cannot guarantee the content of the records that may show up in a final report.
We have refunded this account back to the payment option used to enroll, and no further charges will be incurred. When a user activates their account, they must provide an electronic signature authorizing TruthFinder to charge their card as described, including for the automatic renewal of their membership. Our Billing Terms are conspicuously explained on our registration page and in our Terms of Use. Customers are sent a confirmation email for any orders placed on the site.
Customers are able to cancel online from within their account, through our Customer Phone Support, or by sending an email to [email protected]. I can confirm that your Unlimited Person Reports Membership was cancelled on February 3, 2023.

They provide nothing but basic easy to find information and then try to get you to subscribe additionally to give you the rest of the information. It is a scam to milk you out of your cash.They try all kinds of tricks to get you on a monthly subscription. Honesty is not one of their virtues. Stay away from their website.Truthfinder

I tried to leave a 1 star rating, but was unable to do that. I am NOT interested in what this site has to offer and want to cancel it off my computer screen. I never intended to order anything, but once I accessed their website I am unable to remove it from my PC. They send me updated 'opinions' of the report almost every day and I try to delete them from the right side of my PC monitor screen, but they just pop right back. I never ordered a report from them and I sure sure will never now. I am computer literate, and am 86 years old... Please help me to rid this site from my sight and my computer.Truthfinder

I made the mistake of trying to find an old friend and then found out he was out of the country where this service can't help me.. When I first put in for the search, I received about 60 to 70 span email in my email box everyday.. I have not paid them, thank God, but can't cancel them from sending me demands to me to use their service.. So I get pop *** every day about 10 times and also all the spam email. Do not use this service, it is a corrupt company and not worth the miserable time I am having right now trying to stop them from making me crazy...Truthfinder

This apparently is my second time using ************, I had it like eight months ago I was looking up information on my brother that had passed away, I know my brother had a record and according to TruthFinder Search he had none, I looked up several other people that I know have records and they all came up clean. The information is incorrect I cancel the same day half hour after I paid for it and you do not get a refund. Do not waste your moneyTruthfinder

I did a search on the Truthfinder website, paid for want I believed was a one-time fee for the search. Months later, I discovered that they had automatically signed me up for a "subscription" and started charging my credit card for the ongoing service. TOTAT SCAM!!! I emailed them and told them that I wanted my account cancelled and to return my money ASAP and they continued to charge my account!! I am now filing a report with my CC company and leaving reviews wherever I can for these fraudulent people! BUYER BEWARE!!Truthfinder
