      My dog was taken to the Vetco clinic at Petco in ******************, **** on December 13, 2023 for vaccinations. After he was administered his three year rabies vaccination, we were informed they had no three year rabies tags and would mail us the tag that week. However she wrote on his vaccination record we were to pick it up within 60 days without our knowledge. Again, we were TOLD it would be mailed to us that week. Over a month and ten days has come and gone and no three year rabies tag was mailed. I did however after making four phone calls to both Vetco and Petco receive today, January 22, **** a ONE YEAR tag. Vetco hung up on me today after stating "rabies tag that says date of **** is good for three years. We put the year we gave the vaccination." I tried to explain it was not a three year rabies tag and he was given the vaccination in 2023. That my dog received the vaccination December 2023 and should receive a rabies tag that says ****. She hung up on me. I paid for a three years rabies vaccine and want what was paid for which is a three year rabies tag. I had spoken to a Vetco Clinic **** ******* a week and half ago and was told a three year tag would be mailed out. Instead a one year tag was sent.No one should have to be talked to by Vetco customer service reps the way I have been talked to. You explain over and over the situation but they act like your problem is not there problem although they created it. Today, January 22, **************************************************************************************************************** to accept the one year tag, which I refuse and then she hung up on me. Petco in ************** has been of no help. In fact one manager told me it wasn't their problem, "we only deal with the front store." I want my dog's three year rabies tag mailed to me immediately or I want our money refunded. No customer should have to go through all this nonsense.

      I have nothing more to say. ***** disgust me. I spoke to a ***** Clinic Rep again on January 24, **** when they were at Petco in **************, ****. He admitted they sent me the wrong tag because they do not have any 2023 Rabies tags and only had **** rabies tag to send. I highly recommend customers take their pets to a *********** to avoid all the nonsense and unprofessionalism that follows *****. First no rabies tags, then wrong year tag. They wormed my dog that day after being told by my husband he did not need it, as I had already wormed my dogs. After they were seen squirting liquid in his mouth, my husband asked what that was. "Oh that was a wormer, we worm anyways." Totally unacceptable, when a customer says NO. Not only do they not listen to the customer, they do not look at your dog. They **** off everything from head to paw is normal when a vet did not look at anything. She did state "oh cute." He has a severe underbite with protruding teeth, but she ****ed off "normal." The ***** Vet also ordered prescription Nexgard for my dog without discussing with us. Of coarse I did not fill the Nexgard script, as she ordered it for a dog weighing ***** pounds. My dog weighs 60 pounds. I have the proof. I also explain to the ***** Rep on January 24, ****, I had received a text message on January 18, **** thanking me for checking in to have my pet seen and it was followed by an email in PDF format detailing how ***** clinic had seen my dog that day in ***** ****. Their Vet's signature is on the form. It stated, I presented my pet for vaccinations and his weight was ***** pounds. My dog was NEVER seen at *****-Petco in ***** **** on January 18, ****. We have never been to that Petco store. I can prove I was in a oral surgeons office in **************, **** that day and time, not in ****, ****. I want that removed.

      Incompetent. Took my dog in for rabies shot; showed her 1-year certificate to the attendant. They should have issued certificate for 3-years with the updated shot. Have spent a month trying to get it corrected. The only reason that's' happening is that I insisted in speaking to a supervisor as the *** told me initially there was nothing they could do. Reached out with the documentation again to their Vetco documents email; showed it in person again at a follow up appointment 2 weeks later; was assured by that attendant that it would be fixed. NOBODY has reached out either responding to the emails or updating the record. Just called again and was told it was in the queue and to wait. I asked what my place line was and was told they don't know. Here I go asking for a supervisor, again. It's a matter of changing a 1 to a 3 and re-issuing. They have been paid f or the product but have not given the service. I do not have time to do their job.

      I'm not entirely sure there is one licensed vet actually working there. I brought my 10 year old cat to a local location for an issue he was having with his paws. After determining it to be a bacterial infection, they gave us cream/antibiotic to treat it and let us know his teeth were most likely becoming an issue as well. They scheduled an appointment to have the affected teeth removed and within 3 days of his procedure, he passed away. No one will ever give me an answer entirely to what happened but I'm assuming it has to do with there being no communication whatsoever between "vets". I'd like to press the issue more but good luck when every single time you go in, you're greeted with rude employees who act like they would rather do literally anything else other than wait on you. I take full responsibility for my cats passing because I should have known such a big corporation would never actually care about any animal in their "care". Your animals are nothing but a money maker to them. I then reached out to cancel my Premium subscription for my other cat and got thrown around to 6 different call centers all by people who barely even remember what company they got hired by. Just save your money and possibly your animals life and find a local veterinarian who actually has some pride in what they do. Stop giving these garbage companies business for the sake of convenience.

      Vetco is a joke! Over vaccinated my kitten , not recording medical reactors properly. Over charging customers for vaccines that were already administered. The manager ***** verbally stated the over vaccination was done in their error but assured me it was un harmful to my 16 week old kitten at the time. Apologized and supposedly submitted for a refund for the over charges. Its been more than 30 days and I have to continuously reach out the Vetco to see the status of my refund and my complaint. Mysteriously a visit that I was present for and received service for was wiped out the system. They are refusing to check the cameras to see that I was indeed at my appointment and I did indeed receive services. This company is extremely unprofessional, they have no care at all for pets, they will take your money and erase their mistakes to protect themselves.

      Records indicate that at the 9-23-23 visit, a Feline 3-in-1 vaccine booster was administered, along with the dewormer. Both services were marked as 4-week services, both requiring a booster in order to be effective. Per the ************** / Pending Services section within the Vetco Visit Summary, it states that those services need to be boostered in order to be effective. It also states that the guest was to return within 2-4 weeks for said boosters and that "charges apply". Notes indicate that there were no charges from the 10-21-2023 visit. Please contact customer service regarding your receipt. No refund shall be processed at this time.

      I got my dog an appointment less than a year ago for vaccines and a wellness exam. I was told I could call and request a script for my preventative medication for my dog (Bravecto) when I ran out if less than a year. They gave me one box of Bravecto when I left that day. When I called to ask for refills, they told me Id have to come in for another exam. Every other vet Ive ever been to can refill preventative scripts for a year after theyve seen the pet and dont require the owners to take time off work and come back in for wellness exams multiple times a year.

      We can confirm that there is no written prescription on file. Vetco does not charge exam fees or appointment fees when only attending for a written prescription. We cannot approve any preventive products without a written prescription on file.

      Unfortunately, your employee (the veterinarian) assured me that I would have a script on file. While your company may not charge for exams, taking time off of work and traveling to your location to fix the error of your employees is certainly not free. Furthermore, when I asked to speak to a manager about my concerns, I was told that the manager would call me back, likely by the end of the day and I never got a phone call. The customer service and communication of your organization is disappointing at best and I will most definitely not be returning.

      Vetco out sources Customer service.They will not provide prescriptions for third party .They give an electronic receipt which is not a legal prescription in *******. They want you to use petsmart which is very expensive hey also have vets that have injured my dog twice

      Some human pharmacies, such as ******* require a printed copy with a wet signature. Vetco does provide prescriptions for third-party pharmacies. Some pharmacies, such as PetMeds, Chewy, and Tractor Supply, will accept our digitally signed prescriptions. However, we can confirm that the order with ****** was approved on 10-30-2023.

      The process was easy enough- however, the vet did not write me a prescription for the preventative medicine I told her we used for our dogs. Instead she wrote one for a product that is 3x more than what I requested.Despite having a negative heart worm test on file, they still declined a request from an outside company for the product I requested. ASLO, when I called to inquire about getting emailed a new prescription to mail in, they denied me and said I needed to make another appointment if I wanted a different prescription.I also needed to return for a booster, I had to change my scheduled appointment, so while I was on the phone about the heart worm prescription, I asked what the correct time frame was for the booster to be effective, she said anytime after 4 weeks. Fortunately I googled it because she didnt seem like she knew for sure. It was 2-4 weeks for the booster otherwise youd have to start the process over.*********, condescending, and uninformed about their products.

      That was the last straw for me dealing with Vetco ?? The way they treat ***************** so called so called Manager **** at Petco in *********** is a JOKE!!! I have had too many issues with appointments, especially the poor customer service, trying to retrieve my parts records, **************** Today, I took my dog to a Vet to get done what I couldn't get done with Vetco. No drama, checked me in professionally, saw the Vet & got what I needed again no problem, paid & thanked me for coming in & call if I had any concerns. Love Love Love this!!!!       Customer of ********************** for the past 3 yrs. I experienced numerous cancellations and problems w/ attending Vets but this is the last time. Save up a bit more, and pay the office fee @ any other vet -- it'll be worth it in the end. Remember, you get what you pay for - not worth the risk when considering a loved one's health is involved. I experienced extremely poor customer ********************** from the company following my dog receiving the wrong vaccine. Purchased ********* dog pkg - including 3yr rabies add-on. Confirmed w/ nurse at check-in that 3yr would be given (we had proof of prior 3yr vaccine, also returning Vetco patient). At check-out, the nurse even confirmed that all vaccines were due in 1 yr EXCEPT for rabies, rabies would be 3yrs. Records were emailed so I took her word at that moment. 2 weeks later -- I am reviewing the email & see only 1yr vaccine was given by Vet! I called customer service who accepted no responsibility, offered no resolution, and was able to relay messages to the supervisor but could not get the supervisor on the line when requested. I even explained how my dog has extreme anxiety in medical environments & requires meds for each vet visit -- 0 sympathies displayed but did remind me that there is nothing customer service can do from their end. The response given to me was that a. **************** cannot change medical records (never asked them to), b. **************** cannot offer any compensation or resolution as they are not responsible for the actions of the attending Veterinarian, c. I did not experience any "financial loss" because the 1-year & 3-year vaccines are the same price (Cavalier disregard for my dog's lab coat anxiety). Vetco will not hold attending Vets/staff accountable which appears to be a major contributing factor in most of these negative reviews. Petco is actively choosing to ignore its customer base & continues to place profit ahead of safety and integrity. This will soon be a business of the past with practices like this.
