      They cancel appointments too many times. I have been in the parking lot several times when they sent a text saying that the veterinarian didnt show so the clinic was cancelled. 10 minutes notice doesnt cut it.

      If there is a clinic cancellation, we recommend that the pet parent go to a full service Veterinarian in order to keep their pet on schedule for vaccinations.

      I made my appointment a week prior. All week, I received e-mails and texts, filling out paperwork about my pet, and confirming that Ill be there. Even the day before my appointment, reminders that I had an appointment the following day. At 9 PM, the night before my next morning appointment, I get a text telling me my appointment has been cancelled!! I wont bother re-scheduling with them. Ill go to a reputable veterinarian.

      Worst customer service available and will never return. Called 6 times AFTER 3weeks of his shots and still scratching and itching constantly and they say take him to a vet. What did I pay you for? Will never go back

      They do not tell you ahead of time that your pet needs a rabies vaccination. I brought my cat in for flea medication. She's an indoor cat and had been seen by them before with no problem. Now after using expensive gas and putting my cat to the trauma of taking her in a carrier all the way to Petco in gig harbor they told me no. They were not very nice either. All they want is your money. That's see pets all the time without a rabies vaccination. It's ridiculous all it is is a ploy to get more money out of low income people. Do not even waste your time with these people

      I paid $40.00 for a stool test for my puppy in April *********************************** June. Then in July I was told my pup tested negative for a parasite. When I asked for a copy of the test I was told I would receive it in an email. When I didnt receive it, I called and asked for it again. I received a call back stating my pup tested positive for a parasite. I was then given the option to pick up a prescription. I said not until I receive the email with the test results. I am still waiting on test results. I am highly disappointed with the lack of care and concern for my pup. This is the ********** ** Vetco location.

      We took our 3 dogs to Vetco for their shots and it was the worst experience ever. Their so-called Vets are definitely negligent. We had the bet out down the wrong info for my dogs and we were unable to get the medication we needed. We had to return 3 more times to fix this. DON't BRING YOUR PETS TO VETCO

      I went to a Petco store in Port Richey, Florida on Saturday, July 29th for their vaccination clinic through VETCO for my six (6) cats. I only took them to this clinic because I was told I could also get a prescription for Revolution Plus for my cats. They prepared a prescription for me and I received emails for the prescription and went through the process of submitting my credit card info online and have been waiting for the prescription to be filled for over two weeks. I finally got an email yesterday saying they had canceled my prescription due to no one responding to my prescription. What the hell? How is this a way to run any business in 2023??? I am done with Petco and Vetco and will never buy any products from them ever again. Not only that, but I will tell everyone I know who have pets NOT to have anything to do with Petco or Vetco products or services. Jesus...how absolutely stressful! :-(

      Needed a rabies shot for my dog. First time using vetco. The most unorganized bunch of people. Appointments mean nothing. no signage or help from the Petco people showing us the way to where they were set up. They run around like chickens with their heads cut off. There is no way this is a professional vet service. They got my dog's age wrong on the form and they never changed it, Never verified any of the other info. Furthermore, in the summer months, start the air conditioner before people arrive, With all the people and dogs, it was way too warm. They finally turned it on at noon. Seeing other reviews on the careless way they handle vaccines, i hope my dog didn't get an ineffective one. They need intervention and professional management because this is not working. I was in a bind to get the vaccine, but will never use them again - terrible.

      Very unpleasant and unprofessional I paid a $210.41 package that includes miami dade tag and rabis Vaccine.My dog was vaccinated because I saw it with my own eyes, and I was given the tag but records show he was not given vaccine.I have tried to get in contact with with office to help fix the error and I was told to wait 2 days, 4 days have passed and when called today for update they told me that I needed to wait 7 days.Also my dog was prescribed 2 different medicine to treat same condition.I had been charged for both and when call to return one of them pharmacy told me they dont accept returns.I been so aggravated by this and so upsetting because Im traveling in 3 days and have been unable to reserve boarding place for my pet nor take him to the groomers because of vaccine discrepancy. This company needs to be reported and veterinarians working here so not know what they are doing.
