Horrible!! Wrote a prescription for heart worm medicine for my dog that even Petco would not fill. Do not put your animals health at risk by not using them. Will never use Petco again either they pretend to be associated with Vetco.. they are not.. horrible fake Vets !!! Stay away !!

I’ve been using Vetco for the past year or so and I’m not going be using them anymore. A lot of the dates on the prescriptions are wrong and I’ve been trying to get my dog’s Bravecto for the past week to no avail. I was using another site to get my dogs meds and they kept trying fill them there and they totally disregarded their requests. Instead, they suggested that I use their portal, Vetco meds portal instead of their competitors. I’ve been on the phone, seriously, for at least an hour each day for the past week. This is ridiculous.

We just adopted the dog and tried to establish a solid connection with the well-known Veterinarian Clinic. Our dog got all the necessary vaccines and Rescue did everything to keep the dog keep healthy. One thing that we were looking for was a prescription for regular dog health - this is how we came to Petco advertise offering the first free wellness appointment. I called to Petco customer support to confirm that it will be done and booked it through the Petco website. Guess what happed? I was refused in Clifton NJ Vet Clinic because they not doing it. 1) I believe it is happening because of the misleading Petco web page with both types of clinics and there is no way (trust me, I spent time for it) to let people upstairs look at this wrong layout. 2) The supervisor in Clifton Vet in Petco Jill(?) asked me to come early - I did, but show me that they don't give a *** about their NEVER future customers. She told me they don't care about the situation and sent me to any webpage if I wanted to complain. It should be some effort or suggestion from her side in this situation, isn't it?

Took my cat in to Vetco clinic today to get annual vaccine. Through Vetco last year, she received a 3yr rabies and feline distemper so she was only due for feline leukemia. The tech checking me in at first tried to charge me for the whole vaccine package, and had to correct her before signing off on the paperwork. They took my cat from me to the work area and I did not like being socially distanced far away from my cat while they were working on her. When asked how she was with vets, I told them that she is good she doesn't give any problems. When they were getting her out of the carrier, the tech taking her out was gripping the back of her neck which I didn't appreciate. They also couldn't get an accurate weight on my cat. They finally gave me a weight at the end but I know it's not what my cat weighs combined with the carrier. Overall, I liked the pricing but wish they would've let me stay with my cat and I didn't appreciate the way they handled my cat.

Vetco refuse to correct their error on Certificate of Rabies Vaccination. They claim no error for their action for which they never have permission to do. Also cannot find the vet who supposedly sign the certificate and they refuse to give any contact to customer. ZERO star rating

Vetco offered the reimbursement which does not make any sense because their certificate has an error and based on this not true information my dog should have next vaccination in 2023 instead of 2025 as per 3-year shot. They still refused to correct the error and send new Certificate.

I went in because my cat wasn't eating and she puked up green, which I figured was a little bit of a plant. The vet tried to charge me $800 for X-rays and bloodwork, when she just needed some fluids and anti nausea medicine. Once I told them that she just needed fluids and anti nausea medicine, they said I had to sign a waiver saying they weren't liable if she dies, which was a total guilt trip move. I ended up being completely right, after I signed the waiver and only let them give her fluids and anti nausea medication, she was better the next day. I luckily saved myself $700 but this just goes to show they're focused on gouging people for their money.

We have no control over clinic cancellations.

Clinics can be cancelled for many reasons such as understaffing.

If there is a clinic cancellation, we recommend that pet parent's go to a full service Veterinarian in order to keep their pet on schedule for vaccinations.

      We apologize for any inconvenience.

I took my dog to specifically get the rabbies vaccine. But the vet saw that my dog was due for bordatella in a few days so she started recommending me to get it and then she started selling me to get the package so I did. I was told I was getting the three year vaccines and she did received it. I thought bordatella was a shot so I thought maybe next time because she's a toy dog and I don't want her to have sore muscle, but the vet told me that it was actually an oral so I went with it. I got the record for the rabies except for the bordatella. I saw the vet injfecting it on my dogs mouth and while her assistant held my dog him with a bordatella vaccine' I could still remember my dog face when she gotten it and then she started injecting her the rabies on her leg along with telling me I should brush my dog teeth. I paid 151 for package but what I am concerned about is that I contacted vetco for the record and it's nowhere being documented. And then they forwarded me a receipt to get the vaccine for FREE! Even though they're giving it for free I'm NOT giving my dog a second bordatella vaccine, the fact that I paid for the service and was told I was getting it saw my dog getting it and now its not on file. My dog is 2 yrs old and go to daycare and now she's stuck at home because she doesn't have the bordatella she has received. I would never go back st vetco for vaccination for sure, this is negligence. And not safe for your pet. I think next time it's better to record while your dog is getting a shot or at least take a pic of the vaccines they had given for proof.

Yes you guys did reached out to me to give me a for FREE bordatella vaccine but I told customer service Karen that I will never give my dog this shot again. My dog is a tiny 5 lbs and I don't think it is right to give a bordatella twice. Now Karen told me she's going to inform someone but not sure. I was devastated. I'm coming back to get the rest of my dog shots next weekend just to get the rest of the package I bought settled and I'm done.
