    Style Seat instant deposit is promised to be available for the money that I have earned. More often than not, instant payout is not available and it wants me to update my bank account which I have done several times. There is no one to speak with about this issue. Emailing the company does not help. My money is just held hostage until Style seat decides to release it. I am very angry that I have to wait until Tuesday for my weekend earnings. Attached below are the most recent failed deposits. I am very angry that my money can not be deposited and I do not know why.

    Company allowed stylist to charge 1/2 price for services not rendered. The stylist canceled my appointment and charged me. I did not cancel my appointment. The company refuses to intervene.

    I booked with styleseat.com and did not receive a booking notification. When I did receive a notification by text requesting to confirm my appointment I followed the link and was taken to my account where it stated that there were no pending appointments. I went back to the stylist page and attempted to resubmit but the time of the requested appointment was already taken. I then booked an appointment for the same style at the same time with another stylist and received a text where I followed the link to confirm the appointment. The day of the appointment I was contacted at 11am by a stylist who stated she did not provide any hair product to do the hair and specified that I purchase and bring products that I am unable to use in my hair. She stated the style could not be done well without the use of those products which were not listed in the ad. She did not offer a secondary style or other substitute products as a hair professional. Therefore she said it was up to me whether I wanted to get my hair done without using the products which she said the style would not look right without those products. I stated we she cancel as anyone would since they would not be receiving the requested style due to the stylist not having the product to do the style and the client not being able to use the requested product. At 2pm that day I received a text from a stylist 2 hours before an appointment requesting that I wash and blow dried and completely detangled because she would not be combing out my hair. Ive logged into styleseat several times in order to review the stylist page in order to dispute charges and I can no longer access either page for review. When I contacted styleseat they ccd each stylist internal emails with my personal information and home address.The customer service agent approved the charges on the first email but did not investigate the charges fully until my 3rd follow up with them.

    I never received a refund within the **** business day window. 
    They also stopped responding when I asked what was going on. 
    I was not charged for any of the appointments therefore I did not receive a refund.

    I completed a service through styleseat and i charged my client ****** styleseat charges them a booking fee to fit them in on our schedule along with sometimes a higher percentage fee to book last minute i received my payment but then coming to find out styleseat sent me a higher amount a week later then 2 weeks later i receive an email from them stating the client field a complaint that they were over charged and styleseat receives payments on every dollar amount we receive even if we receive a tip they receive a percentage and when i was contacted by styleseat pertaining to this i looked at my account and it shows my client was charged a tip fee i never charged my client a tip unless they give me a tip the styleseat took money out of my account and put on the website i received a payment we they removed money out of my account they are committing fraud against stylist and the customers this is no where professional so they got paid three times from me and two times from the client which is not right and put everything on the stylist we dont even have the clients payment information we send over all final fees to styleseat to pay out to our account they are fraud i been contacting them for almost 2 months now to get answers and you cant talk to nobody they keep sending automatic responses from email thwn no follow-up i want to deactivate my account i refuse to be with a company who is fraud and seek money from people who are struggling looking to start a business and they get over on us lucky i take pictures of every transaction made they added extra stuff on there i never approved i will also be taking this to court. this is sad i want my account deactivated and a return of my money and to have nothing else to do with them id rather struggle to gain new clients then to get any more business from them they are so fraudulent i can send you all screenshot pictures of the whole situation from beginning to end if needed

We take a processing fee, which seems to be what you're referring to. Also, clients can edit their tips if they want to tip you at the time of service through StyleSeat. All transactions that are processed will be 3%. It looks like we assisted you in canceling your account and it is no longer active. Thank you!

    Styleseat quotes one price when booking for services but once you hit submit they charge more than what was stated on the booking and add some "tax" charge. I see why people are saying dont book anything though this site just call the person and book that way because styleseat takes money from the stylist and client.

    On 10/28 I schedule an appointment for 10/30 through StyleSeat. The stylist canceled on me 10 minutes before my appointment and then told me shed be able to do my hair the following day. Only to be told 2 hours before my appointment she double booked me and is going to need to reschedule. I asked the stylist for refund and she agreed. After waiting a few days I contacted StyleSeat. For weeks I have contacted style seat about this refund and even provided proof service was not done and the stylist agreed to refund but nothing. Ive been trying to handle this with StyleSeat since the stylist blocked me. I have given up with both parties and decided to dispute the charge and file a claim with my bank with proof of stolen money due to non service and agreed refund never received.

    In June of 2022 l used a third part booking app called Style Seat to book a hair appointment with a stylist, ***************. Style seat gave me the option to use Klarna as an option to pay for my service. After booking and paying the 1st payment towards my service. ***** reached out to me and told me that she does not accept ******. I asked her to cancel the appointment and I'd just pay her using cash app. She informed me that she's unable to cancel without StyleSeat charging me. I reached out to ****** and let them know the situation. They told me I need to get in contact with style seat. Since then I have tried to reach out to style seat but I have been unable to find any contact information for them. Everything redirects you back to the help page. The issue is nothing on the help page applies to my situation. I have sent to proof to ****** showing that there is no way to get in contact with them, as well as screenshots of ***** saying she doesn't accept ******. I have even sent the screenshot of me paying her via cash app.****** is still telling me after everything that I have sent them that I need to contact style seat and until me or them get in contact with style seat, I still have to pay them. They are telling me in order for me to get a refund style seat had to send me or them proof of cancellation. But there is no way to get in contact with style seat. The appointment was never canceled, just used a different for of payment.

    I was charged $189.00 plus the booking fee and was only suppose to be charged the booking fee for making the appointment. So long story short I didn't receive no services and my money still hasn't been refunded. Me and the stylist did not do any business together. I need my money refunded. She did not communicate until the end stating *************** and I didn't have no other choice but to cancel the appointment. Due to lack of communication with the stylist honey *******.

    Styleseat is a salon booking website. They have a fraudulent stylist saying they work at my salon they are taking payments from customers and sending them to my shop. They ghost the customer after getting the ************************** is doing absolutely nothing to protect customers,or respond to me.

    On November 2 2022, my stylist issued a refund through StyleSeat for a service that I did not have rendered that I paid my stylist through cash app instead for. StyleSeat informed me that they cannot issue refunds to clients and that I would need to reach out to my stylist in that regard. My stylist notified that the refund was processed. ****** with StyleSeat stated that the stylist will have to issue the refund to me. My stylist informed me that StyleSeat has yet to reach out to her in that regard. I have gone through several emails back to back with StyleSeat with no resolution. I would like for the StyleSeat merchant to refund me the amount of ******.
