    I had an appointment with ***************************** on August 26. I paid an initial $50 for a deposit and an additional $130 after services rendered. She marked me as paid, but StyleSeat still charged me an additional $140. She was told by a **** (who works for StyleSeat) that I would have my refund within seven days, that should be Wednesday, September 4, 2024 and I am placing this here to hold StyleSeat accountable.From my understanding, once a client is marked paid, StyleSeat does not have permission to take funds from their account.

    I’m am a stylist on StyleSeat for quite sometime and have made transactions of client pay with no problem in the pass with the company site. However Sunday August 25th 2024 I did a client she checked out of StyleSeat I never got paid for the service I render to her. I had deposit due to me of 91 dollars and they already took a fee, My payout never came to me. I also have screenshots showing the amount to be deposit to me now as I look now it says zero for the work I render which I didn’t do hair for free. My time and effort went in to doing the child hair. It’s like I’m being scammed out my money. Every time I try to instant pay it wouldn’t work. Now ******** is reading 0 when it was saying I suppose receive my 90 dollars.

    I booked with a professional on their website. The day before the professional asked me what kind of hair did I buy I sent a picture she said what I had was fine. The day of the appointment she asked me how would I like my hair I showed her a picture. Then asked how would I like it executed, I told her whichever method you use to do the style I showed she said okay. When I was done the style was no where near what I showed her in the picture. She pulled my hair so tight that some came out. The style she did came out so I had to take it out the next day. She offered to redo it but I refused because I already had a bad experience. I would like a refund. I’ve contacted style seat multi times with no resolution.

As they mentioned in their correspondence, because we are just the software program your Pro uses to manage their business, we have no authority to go into their account and issue client refunds. For issues between clients and professionals, you'll need to contact the professional directly; Pros are very willing to accommodate unsatisfied clients.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    They say they cannot authorize refunds. However you take a portion of the money to fund your own platform. I’ve asked on numerous attempts for a refund. Please have your “professional” respond with a 48 hour refund.

    Style seat continues to deposit money into an account I no longer have access to. When contacted they took 3 days getting back to me and instead sent me automated messages. $202 was deposited into a unknown account and when I finally got it reversed, style seat held it without giving it to me. There is no phone number to contact and they wont respond back email wise. They have had my money since August 6 and refuse to respond. Next I will be taking legal steps to receive my money back.

    I made an appointment and paid the deposit, through styleseat. The stylist using their platform cancelled twice & then tried to charge me the full price for a service she never provided. I would like a refund of my deposit I.

    *************************** ******************************************************************* Dear StyleSeat, BBB and whom this may concern, I am writing to address an ongoing issue that I have already contacted Styleseat about multiple times regarding the way they claim to have brought clients to me. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve this matter, I have not received a satisfactory response from StyleSeat. I have evidence that the clients they claim to have brought to me actually found me through their own search on StyleSeat. They were not solicited by the platform as they have stated. It is dishonest and unethical for StyleSeat to take credit for bringing me clients when in fact, they found me on their own. Attached youll see proof where Ive known her since 2016 but also where she says she looked me up she wasnt solicited by StyleSeat. Furthermore, it is concerning that StyleSeat continues to try and take a 30% cut of mine and other stylists earnings based on false claims of client acquisition. How many other stylists are having this issue??? As a stylist, I work hard to build my clientele and it is extremely unacceptable for your company to misrepresent the source of my clients and profit from it. I urge StyleSeat to review its practices and ensure that all claims of client acquisition are accurate and transparent. It is crucial for a company to maintain honesty and integrity in its dealings with customers, and I expect nothing less from ******************. I am requesting an immediate resolution to this matter and a refund of any fees that were improperly collected based on false claims of client acquisition. I trust that StyleSeat will take this issue seriously and make the necessary changes to prevent similar incidents in the future. Once again I HAVE CONTACTED Styleseat ABOUT THIS MATTER MULTIPLE TIMES. This is not the first time theyve stolen money acting as if they brought me a client. Thank you for your attention.     This is so called professional is a scam artist and pathological liar. Prior to my appointment I contacted the stylist via messenger to confirm availability for a specific date. As soon as she confirmed, I proceeded to schedule and make my deposit. I then messaged her informing her of the booking. She immediately tried to switch from Saturday to Sunday. When I told her I was not available Sunday, she tried to switch to Monday which I declined again. She said she would get back to me and never did. I had a feeling she would be the type person to be deceitful and try to keep my deposit so I proceeded to file a dispute instead of cancelling my appointment. The next few days I was contacted by the stylist at appropriate times. Once at 7pm and then three times were in the middle of the night at almost 1am. Im not sure what kind of professional thinks its okay to contact a client (or potential client) at such hour but I did not respond. I contacted her through StyleSeat messenger the very next day responding to her latest message about trying to reach out to me, and I explained after not hearing from her the day I scheduled the appointment, I had ended up scheduling with another stylist. The stylist and then proceeded to send me angry messages and then immediately reschedule my appointment from Saturday August 3 to Monday July 30. She then goes and cancels the appoIntment, making it seem as though I was a no show to an appointment day that had never existed. Now she is refusing to refund me the deposit I made despite the fact that not only was there plenty of advanced notice, but SHE is the one who cancelled the appointment in the system. She is a thief and I demand my deposit back from Style Seat

    I received a notice on my StyleSeat account regarding documentation needed to charge on the platform. i contacted the ***, then got the paperwork faxed to me. I submitted the paperwork, but still there is no response from StyleSeat. My issue is the lack of communication from StyleSeat. There is no number to speak with a live person. The number (************) they have listed is no longer in service. The reason someone might use StyleSeat is to have a business to live, their life financially free from burden. My account has been locked for 3 wks, and I'm not getting a response from Styleseat. I finally reached out to ******, and they called me right back. The email only form of communication Styleseat, is very harmful to Individual business owners and needs to easier to resolve issues with the platform.

    I booked an appointment through style seat to get my hair braided at 2:15 pm. I was required to put a card on file with a down payment. When I arrived the stylist said she never got the notification and she doesn't have time to braid my hair. No refund was issued and I was charged the full amount for services I never received.

    I downloaded the style seat app, made an appointment with one of the professionals, you have to make a deposit before you can get an appointment. After that I was told by the hairdresser to bring the payment in cash. Which I did because StyleSeat does not inform you that their professional are allowed to withdraw money off your card without your knowledge. The next day a $150 is pending off of my debit card. I contact the hairdresser asking her why am I being charged twice and shes pretending she doesnt know whats occurring. This company must be stop they helping people commit fraud to the 100 degree. $210 in person and $150.00 was taking off my card so altogether I paid $360. For a hair that was supposed to be $170.00
