Terrible! I tried to open a credit card to take advantage of a balance transfer deal. They had all of my info in order to put a check on my credit. And the put my SS# in wrong so I could not get into my account. They wanted me to jump through a bunch of hoops that would take weeks to change it. In the mean time I could not even get into my account because I needed my SS# to be correct for me to do that.

I've been with Wells Fargo since 2001 never left once kept my entire savings in there for almost 25 years. They decided without warning they will start charging 10 dollars a month if you don't have a grand in your checking account at all times. this is not an over draft fee this is litterly if u have 900 and not 1000. completely unethical and insane. I will be taking all my money somewhere else now.

The worst customer service I have ever had. They filled a claim and the person told me I would get a provisional credit on my account while they investigate the claim. I was told and have experienced first hand that the credit would hit immediately. When it didnt I called back. The person on the phone told me they could not see details on the claim at all so I asked for a supervisor. I was then transferred not to a supervisor at all then when I asked for a supervisor I was told to hang up and call again and maybe Ill get a supervisor. ***** kept over talking me to the point where I had to scream just to get a word in. If I could give 0 stars I would. Once this claim is over I will be pulling my funds from this banking establishment. Also something to keep in mind I been their customer for 13 years since 2012.

If I could give them a negative star I would. Towards the end of January. We stopped at the ************ in ********************. We put in a 100 dollar bill it was forced. The atm wasn't working like other atms. I noticed the screen had turned red with a yellow triangle on it. I told my husband to stop. The screen wouldn't do anything. So we pushed cancel thinking it would spit the money out. It did not. I got out tried to look to see if I could see the money. I could not. I had my husband do a balance inquiry so I could have **** we had been there. I immediately called and explained what had happened. They gave me a temporary credit until they were done investigating. Following Monday when they called I tried to tell them the whole account they didn't care and didn't seem to want my side. Almost 2 months later I get a letter stating there was no issues and they would be taking their temporary credit back the following Friday. I called to complain and got the letter verbatim. So surely if I go to the bank and talk to someone they will help their long term customer right? No they won't branch manager won't even talk with us they can't be bothered. Destiny tried to help she spoke with the same idiots I did. They said no to her too. So she resubmitted the claim. All she could do. The claim people called me back within the week didn't want my side just my email. I kid you not within 2 hours I have an email still saying there was no issues with their atm. They were taking their money I basically am just out of luck. The crappy part is I am still stuck banking with these jerks who think it is ok to gaslight their customers. We have banked with ********************** for over 20 years. I have never lied, cheated, or stole from them but they cannot say the same. I encourage anyone who is considering this bank run don't walk. I hope wellsfargo goes bankrupt it is what they deserve.

If I could put zero stars I would. My account was hacked and I lost $700 plus dollars and Wells Fargo didnt even flag that it was in 3 different states on the same day. Not only that, after I made my claim I wasnt issued a temporary credit while this investigation was ongoing. I was only left with very little money in my account and the customer service department was very unhelpful. I will never bank with Wells Fargo ever again. I will never recommend this bank to anyone ever.

I signed up for the Wells Fargo Active Cash 2% back credit cared solely for the 2% cash back. I use cards for the cash rewards to travel in the summer. I charged almost $11K over a few months and paid it off immediately. I kept watching my account for my $220 rebate. Months went by. I called the company and was directed to the rewards department. A man answered sounding like he just woke up and was mumbling some greeting so slowly and incoherently. I briefly explained my question. He said "you don't get rewards on payments, only on purchases". I said, yes I know this. But clearly, if I made an $11,000 payment then it was because of $11,000 in purchases. He said, "you have to call the credit card company". ????? I said I am. Is this not the rewards department? The phone started ringing (he had transferred me) and a new, pleasant gal answered. I explained again. She said this is the main number and I need to talk to rewards. I said I just did and was transferred. She apologized and transferred me again. I told her let's hope I don't get the same person. She agreed. ****. Same sleepy, bored dude answered again. I said hello I think I was just speaking to you about my rewards and you weren't able to help me. Is there someone else I can talk to. "No.". Okay, is there a manager I can talk to? He then hung up on me. I opened an online case and after a week received an email that they've researched it and my case has been closed. The email said that only $416 of my $11,000 in charges qualified for 2% cash back. They apologized for the customer service and assured me that they take complaints such as this very seriously. Yeah Right.

**************** is non-existent. Simple questions can't even be answered and you have to be put on hold to sometimes being disconnected and sometimes they come back and they still don't have the answer. Also at the branch level many of the customer service people at the branch don't know the answers and give you the answers when it's a little too late when the account is already open and it's going to cost you money to move the money. I don't recommend using Wells Fargo they used to be a great bank but in the last few months they fall apart and they need to be investigated by the federal government

Wells Fargo is a terrible institution. Unable to help me get a credit card statement and tell me that I need to get it faxed. They never faxed it. Also representatives mysteriously get disconnected! Do better!

I disputed a duplicate transaction for the same amount at the same merchant within seconds or minutes, after disputing transaction they sent me a letter stating they could not credit my account and I was responsible for the transaction. I asked if they sent proof of receipts they said yes but the second one wasnt very clear unreadable yet they decided to credit the merchant. I find this to be fraud. I should not be responsible for this.
