When I received the box there was only 2 items out of the 12 that I ordered As well as two pj onesies from ******** which obviously I didn't order from Gap. I called multiple times and finally after the 4th time they said they cant refund my money until I returned those two items. I tried to return them in person and they wouldnt return them and give me a refund for the items I never received. This is absolutely horrible.

I have been a Gap and ******** customer for 13 years. My 3 children started wearing Gap clothing when they were babies - so much so that random people would approach me and tell me they should be Gap models. I have no problems with Gap clothing, itself. My issue is with this new MasterCard "Good Rewards" credit card that replaced their **** program. ****'s APR wasn't great at 25%, but now the MasterCard program is 29% - variable rate. This means the rate can actually increase at any time. And the only way to get this card is if you have good credit. Makes no sense. Good credit is supposed to get you rewards (as the card mentions). I spend thousands of dollars at Gap and ******** every year buying clothes for my sons -- but no more. Gap has just lost a customer. I can afford to pay my card off every month - that's not the problem. I don't like companies that take advantage of hard-working people. I don't care about promotions, etc. Those are just gimmicks to lure in non-suspecting clients and then turn on them when the promotional period expires. I had no idea Gap was not BBB accredited, either. I only learned of all the issues this company has after getting on this website. Seems like it's a good thing I always paid off my cc each month. Otherwise, I may have had to make a claim, as well. ******* and ******************* seem to be pretty good competitors along with the regular department stores like ****** and ******. I spent a lot more money this year, but it's not about the money for me -- it's the principle. To keep customers, you must treat them well. It takes a lot longer to build a good reputation than to lose it. Gap has lost theirs with me.

I have been an ******** ****** reward cardholder for approximately 5 years through the Gap ************* ******** has recently transitioned from **** to Barclays. I had my credit card hacked and in the process was also stripped of the rewards points (which translate to cash). Upon calling I was told due to website maintenance I was unable to access my information. After $130 of rewards being revoked and being unable to utilize my remaining funds I am beginning to question if the Gap brands are intentionally withholding rewards from their customers. I do not recommend the credit card, the rewards program or customer service to anyone. This has cost me time, money and an overwhelming amount of frustration.

The Gap refused to refund my purchase 34 days after I received the shipment. They allow only 30 days from ship date to give a refund. Not date received, ship date. I wouldnt suggest buying holiday gifts from them since you wont get a refund, only a gift card.

Horrible service. I ordered a plaid shirt and never received it. When I called Gap customer service I was told they cant locate where it is. They said theyd have to issue a refund which I wouldnt get for 15 days abs that Id have to place a new order. I placed a new order. A denim shirt was delivered instead. I called customer service and was hung up on. I called again and was told I need to return the invoice item for a refund and place a new order. **** will never shop at Gap again. Customer service is nonexistent.

Went to make return and was one day past the 30 day return deadline due to the thanksgiving holiday and was told they could not return my items even though they still sell the items for regular price on the shelves (not clearance) and if somebody purchased those same items today they would have 60 days to return them due to an extended return period for Christmas. They are childrens shoes that are too small due to ********s incredibly inconsistent sizing and now Im stuck with shoes that they will never wear because they cannot make any exceptions. I was told by the store to call **************** who basically told me sorry, no exceptions thanks for the feedback. There was zero attempt to help in any way like offering a gift card instead of my money back which I would have been totally fine with. Taking an infant and toddler shopping and trying on every item is unrealistic so I just will not be shopping at ******** for quite some time, its not worth being stuck with things you cant return for even a credit if you have any kind of a busy life.

I ordered four items online and got stuck with "standard shipping" $9 for 3-5 business days because there was no opportunity to review the order before it processed. Just checked the carrier and the estimated delivery is 10 days from now. Tried to contact ******** via link in their e-mail, but of course it bounced 'not monitored' mailbox, site chat logo is down, and I am not spending hours on hold with them, as they clearly do not care to hear what paying customers think. The only answer is not to be a paying customer of ******** any more. Really lousy performance.

Banana Republic Factory (owned by gap) uses deceptive marketing on their website to coerce shoppers into buying. I put the Classic Cotton Shirt in my basket and was warned by a timer I had 30 minutes to complete the order. After I was still shopping past the 30 minute ***** the item in my size only went out of stock. At that point I decided to purchase the same shirt in my size but a different color, believing it was truly out of stock. Well it wasnt. After purchasing the shirt, I reopened a new browser window (after clearing cache/cookies). And LO and BEHOLD! The original shirt I wanted is fully in stock. Of course. You **** Gap/Banana Republic. *** studied UX and this is some seriously TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES, GROW UP!!!!!!!!

I ordered school uniforms for my children and need to return 2 shirts and 2 pants, but their return policy changed in May 2022 and require returns be completed within 30 days of the shipment. The items I want to return were shipped on September 27, 2022 and it is October 31, 2022 and they will not accept my return. The kicker is that one item from my order has not even shipped yet!!! Its ok for Gap to delay in getting products to us, but we cannot be 4 days past their new policy date to accept returns! Order from ANYWHERE else. If Gap cant stand behind their products for 34 days, then Ill spend my money elsewhere.
