Ive purchased three fitbits in under 4 years. Not one lasting two years. Their products dont last and are made to break quickly.

FITBIT IONIC RECALL - in February 2023 I sent in 2 Fitbit Ionics per the recall instructions. I followed all instructions to the letter. I have not received my $600 in refunds to date. I have called countless times to inquire about this and have been told the same thing every time. 'We will escalate this case to a supervisor'. Nothing has happened. This is beyond frustrating. I either want my 2 watches back or the promised refund. I'll never buy fitbit again. I've had many over the years but this is BS!

We are so upset with Fitbit. My husband uses his Fitbit to monitor a very low heart rate and manage his steps. His first Fitbit died in May 2023. The second Fitbit (a Charge 5) died after a little more than two months. Despite the one year warranty we were told we had missed a one month window for returns! We learned today that Fitbit is aware that a faulty software update it put out has destroyed our Fitbits. They have made no effort to alert purchasers and make us whole. These are expensive devices for a retired person to afford, and we certainly cant afford a third device. Only an extremely unethical company would ruin its own devices and not immediately make this right.I hope the BBB provides an F rating for Fitbit and that the company faces severe consequences for its dishonesty. They have lost a family of users of many types of their users. Our two expensive Charge 5s were money terribly spent with a company that does not stand by its customers. After being loyal customers and working our way up from the low end models to this more expensive one, and being left high and dry, We are hopping mad. Fitbit, **you** broke our devices with a faulty update. Make this right. We need an apology and replacements in the mail now. The verification comments above are smoke and mirrors. Fitbit can easily see that one of our devices was purchased through Amazon. While the other was purchased with cash, it is just as broken and just as much not our fault! Recall the device and provide replacements. Doing the right thing is always the best and quickest way for a company to get through a major mistake

Both my and my husband's Sense 2 watches stopped working EXACTLY 1.5 years after we bought them. They both are stuck on a black screen with the Fitbit logo. I contacted customer service, went through all the troubleshooting, and then was told that my watch was out of warranty and all they "could do" was give me 35% off a new watch. That is entirely unacceptable. To spend hundreds of dollars on a device that stops working just outside of the warranty period is suspect. The fact that it was TWO watches that died at the same time makes the situation even more icky. There's no way it was merely a coincidence. I will never purchase from Fitbit again.

I give zero stars - DO NOT BUY ANY FITBIT PRODUCTS! - I have the Charge 5 and have been extremely dissatisfied with the performance of the product. I have the Premium Membership which doesn't add any worthwhile benefits.I have complained about the *** Tracking and it is inconsistent. It works whenever it wants to. Sometimes it with show a picture of the route run, sometimes it stops in the middle of the run. I happen to run around a lake. ^ consecutive times it has given me a different measurement. There is only 1 path to run. Sometimes its 3 miles, sometimes its **** miles, **** it stopped at 2.6 miles. The sleep tracked doesn't work, the swim lap count doesn't measure a lap with flip turns. You have to stop and turn. The battery life is poor. Less than 24 hours. Besides the watch being of extremely poor performance, customer service is worse. Takes a long time to get someone on the phone. Nothing gets resolved. I was told keep using it and see what happens. I asked for a call back from management and never received a call. I requested my Charge 5 to be replaced with a higher quality product they said NO. In 6 months I've complained 20 times with no results. Email replies are standard replies. How this company has an A+ rating is so deceiving. My request is that FitBit send me a replacement watch of there highest quality. I want them to stand behind their product. I do not want to hear again that they are passing my concerns as to the engineering of their products to their research department. I would give this company zero stars if they would let me. In my opinion, FidBit does not care about their customers. Please replace my Charge 5 with your Sense 2.

Bought a Charge 5, worked fine for a few months, started displaying the restart Fitbit logo and wouldnt power on for over a week. Finally turned back on but have to shock it at this point (plug it in, so it vibrates and wakes up then unplug it, and plug it in again for it to work. Its at the point now where the 100% charge doesnt even last a full 24 hour period when they claim it holds 5/6 days worth of charge. Have been in contact with customer support multiple times and they never fix the issue. Never offered to check warranty or offer a replacement watch, finally try customer support again to be told my warranty is up but here is 35% off a new one (I wouldnt order another one if they offered it to me free) will never do business with Fitbit or buy another Fitbit. This has been an issue for multiple people with charge 5 and they refuse to put a recall on it, the battery gets too hot against your skin at this point in performance since the battery is draining so fast. UNSAFE PRODUCT, terrible customer service and unwilling to admit they have a terrible product. Save your money, time and just buy an Apple Watch

I will NEVER buy another Fitbit product. I bought a Charge 5 about 6 months ago because my Charge 4 suddenly stopped giving a sleep score. Well the Charge 5 never gives me a sleep score!! Ive contacted customer service and gone through all the processes to fix the problem. Nothing helped. Total waste of money!!

I bought a Charge5 for my 13 yo daughter. When I called them they stated that I would have to wipe her phone create a new email account that did not have any parental protections and reset her phone up with that in order for her to use it. I could not find anywhere on the site stating that a family account couldn't use this device.Further the representative stated that I would be sent a questionnaire about the quality of the service they provided. She knew it was awful, so to prevent negative feedback the email was never sent.
