I have been a customer of fitbit since 2019. Purchased the versa 2 from the company and the versa 3 from Amazon. My versa 2 quit in 6 months and they replaced it. My versa 3 is 7 months old and the battery which lasted for 4 days now only lasts 8 hours. Only used it to count steps and exercise. They say they will not replace or fix it because ****** is not their dealer even though they admitted to selling their products to ******. Fitbit does not back their product especially if you don't buy from them.

Ive purchased 2 of its watches Versa 2 and Inspire 3 and both of these didnt last a few months before they went totally black and unable to charge. Terrible.Another issue is that i paid for extended warranty and now i cannot use it because i threw away the Versa 2 that was broken, and they are asking for me to mail the broken watch before they honor my warranty. I think thats disgusting because they stole my money and clearly i cannot put it use and they insist in not returning me my warranty money back while acknowledging that they cannot serve me with this warranty i paid for.Terrible.

Ive been a Fitbit customer for years a minimum of 5 years. In the past 5 years alone Ive needed 5 replacement watches for issues from the watch face falling off to technical issues. Previously Ive had an easy time with customer service replacing the watches so Ive stuck with them. The last watch I made the mistake of not getting the additional, expensive extended warranty *** the watch broke shortly after the limited warranty expired. I considered switching to Apple considering my experience with Fitbit watches constantly breaking but stuck with what I knew. What a mistake. After purchasing at retail price with the extended warranty (around $300) the watch is malfunctioning within 6 months and the customer service has degraded as much as the watches. It had been weeks of nothing but being told to trouble shoot and escalating my case when troubleshooting never works and ZERO effort to honor either warranty and make sure I have a functioning watch. This has been a frustrating and absurd process and I will certainly be getting an Apple Watch going forward. Ive never had a company be so horrible when it comes to fixing an issues with a product covered by one, nonetheless two warranties

I have purchased 6 Fitbit devices over the years, They do not stand by their products. I had the Versa 2 and replaced it with the Versa 3. Recently as I was in the kitchen putting away dishes the face just popped off of the watch... while it was on my arm. The supervisor in customer relations that I spoke to told me that this is a known issue with the Versa 3, which has now been discontinued. Yes, it is outside of the warranty period by a couple months, BUT it has a KNOWN defect! Their resolution is to send me a coupon to purchase a new one from their website before the discount expires in 30 days. After this experience, I am most definitely not buying another device. They can keep that discount and their products. I enjoyed the features of the watch, but the customer service and product quality leave a lot to be desired.

Horrendous experience with Fitbit Charge 4. Very loosely tracks steps and calories burned. After 3 months of purchasing Fitbit Charge 4 the band broke at the point where it connects to the tracker itself, so a new band won't fix the issue. Was during a typical workout; nothing crazy. Contacted Fitbit customer support and they refuse to warranty their product. Said ****** is not an authorized seller. Then why allow them to sell your products? I've had Fitbit products in the past and they used to warranty them regardless of where you purchased it including Amazon. Nope. Guess with all their claims due to **** products they need to find a way to ***** the consumer instead. I should have known based off of past experience not to trust them again. I enjoy their app and ease of use but I completely regret giving them another shot at my business. Hopefully this will save someone else from wasting their money.

i had a fitbit charge 2 that worked well for 2 years before it stopped working compleatly. I bought a new charge 5, which worked for just over 6 months. almost immedietly after I started having issues with it holding charge. Then it stopped detecting heart rate. went to customer service and they asked me to do a bunch of things ive already done to trouble shoot. When I mentioned that it may be a hardware issue and that I would still be in warrenty they were condecending. Then immedeitly after said that they would follow up at a later time. I bough a $100 piece of tech waste that lasted only 6 months. very dissapointed in the quality of product and customer service.

They won't honor the 6 month free premium membership w new watch. They will not let me cancel. They will not redund either. They found and verified account but won't cancel. Says I need to with ****** but I didn't buy or set up through ******. Who wants to start a class action suit? This has happened for years with EXACT same issue,I've found.

Last year Fitbit replaced faulty devices and gave a free year of Fitbit Premium app. The email notice of the device replacement and free year of Premium does not state anything about auto renewal and a charge. I did not have a current subscription at the time so that means they started one for me. I checked a few months back to make sure that there was not a subscription renewal on my app on my account and saw nothing. The 'order' for this subscription says it was placed in April of this year. I received no notice at least 30 days previous that they were renewing and going to bill me. They have my current email on file. I called on 5/6/23 and they would not refund so I have disputed through my credit card company. This is extremely misleading, sneaky, deceptive and bad business.

I received a Fitbit luxe as a gift. Within 2 weeks, the watch stopped working. I called customer support and talked to a man with very broken English. We trouble shooted the watch, and he told me that he would send a charger replacement. I told him that I thought it was the watch itself. So he told me he would replace and I could recycle the broken one. Soon I got an email saying they sent out a new pebble. I reached out again and explained that I was told to recycle the old watch. Long story short, I received an email saying that the band and charger were not covered. I was told (on a recorded line) to recycle the broken unit! So now, I have the replacement pebble but no band or charger. I have requested a return label several times so that I can return, but now they are completely ignoring me! My husband went through recycling bin, found the broken unit and returned it through Amazon for a full refund! **************** was terrible! My ********************** was less than 2 weeks old! Loved it while it worked, but never again!
