      My sense is over a year old (barely) and is now out out of warranty. As with many other customers, the watch has frozen wit the fitbit logo on it. Tech support tried to help, but I knew there was nothing they could do. I have been on the sense forum and one customer indicated she was in fact offered a new device. I brought this to their attention to only be offered a discount on a new model. I kept emailing and calling and getting the run around. I finally got a "supervisor" on the phone and she indicated to me that the reason the other customer received a new watch replacement even though she was out of warranty as well, was because she had another product from them!! Talk about discrimination. This company merged with ******* knew this update they did was going to cause this, and now I am without an expensive watch. My business with Fitbit is over and I hope you never have to deal with this. They get ZERO stars from me!

      ********, ****** December 2, 2023 WITHOUT PREJUDICE Fitbit ****** 803 - ******************************************************* Sir * madame:I am writing to inform you that I am claiming the sum of $240.00 + tax of $35.94 + $12.50 cost of registered mail from you, Fitbit for the following reasons:I purchased the watch March 6th, 2022 and since this time have already replace the watch twice for the same problem and have been without the watch for weeks at a time during the process.The exact same problem, with the altimeter has reoccurred and you (Fitbit) refuses to repair or replace the watch claiming out of warranty, even though I have not had a reasonable time and use from the watch.That the watch, Fitbit Sense, has a defect, that the company refuses to acknowledge, with its altimeter (multiple complaints online for the same issue).I have contacted customer support 4 times over the last 3 days and have trouble shot the watch to no avail.The best offer you (Fitbit) has made is to give me 35% off another watch.The ****** government has The Consumer Protection Act, that clearly states:Legal warranties allow you to demand that the electronic device you are buying:will serve the purpose for which it was intended;will have a reasonable lifetime, given the price paid, the contract, and the conditions of use;will not have any hidden defects, that is, important defects that were present before the sale, that were not mentioned to you and that you could not have noticed, despite your due diligence;matches its description in the contract, advertisements and the merchants statements.This letter constitutes formal notice to pay me the sum of $288.44 within ten days. Otherwise, I may take legal action against you immediately and without further notice.I hereby inform you that I will consider any proposal for mediation or negotiation before referring the case to the courts.Please act accordingly.

      This company is terrible. I had the same problem as ***** below and saw I got charged for a subscription renewal that I was unaware of. I havent used a Fitbit since 2015 which I saw through my profile on the app so Im sure they could see it too and could realize I dont need the subscription. Asked for even a prorated charge since it was over a month in. As ***** said there main argument was that it is there policy for no refunds and they have strict guidelines to adhere to policies. You would think their policy would be superior customer service. Stay away.

      I have enjoyed my Fitbit Versa 2 for a few years but their recent update has caused a major function to quit working - I can no longer see texts from my phone on my Fitbit. I have worked through several chat conversations to try to solve this issue but none of the chat members have figured it out. I feel like I am owed a replacement because that was one of the main reasons I bought a Fitbit in the first place. It does show a phone call coming through but Now it is just a watch that keeps track of my steps. I will NOT be buying another Fitbit- will hope for a replacement which probably doesnt cost them much

      I got fitbit watch for my boyfriend as a present in the website under my email account. Got the following bundle including: -Fitbit ******* Membership (1 Year) $19.99 each -Fitbit Charge 6 (Obsidian / Black Aluminum) $99.95 each -Fitbit 2-Year Protection Plan for Charge 6 with Accidental Damage Coverage $14.99 each My boyfriend were not able to activate the ******* Membership since I did the purchase with my email. (nothing was indicated when you buy a fitbit that only the person email that paid for the ******* Services will be able to use it)Also, NO RETURNS despite I did the transaction less than 15 days ago and never use it **************** people was kind but not able to provide a solution like change the email account to the correct one or to return the money since they were no able to provide a solution

      Do not submit yourself to dealing with these scamming people. Try anyone else. Auto renewed for a subscription I didn't even know existed, no warning ahead of time, 80 bucks charged, "no refunds ever" policy for something I didn't even know what happening and got no warning of. Tried to cancel, "congrats on a year's worth of pointless subscription for a device you used for 2 months and haven't touched since." Disputed charge with my card company. Hopefully that helps. Shady company, shady tactics, clearly decided scamming their customers was more important than maintaining loyalty?

      They practice planned obsolescence. When purchasing my Sense, the warranty offered was over $150; increasing the purchase price by over 33%. I opted not to. Almost exactly 18 months later an update is sent out and required for continued use. Shortly after updating, my fitbit showed the "red ring of death" and never successfully turned on again. When I looked up help, I was flooded with similar stories of devices stopping working in the middle of a nap, or a workday, all at the same time with this update, and only to people who didn't purchase the extended warranty. When I called the company, I was told by tech support that there is nothing that can be done, and the best option is to use their 35% off coupon they offered me to buy a new one. Too many people had the exact same experience at the exact same time for it not to have been planned. I will never buy their products again. Side note: half the features they boast, I never got to work on my device. It never properly sync with my ******* android device, leaving half the features useless. I took it in to my cell phone store, and geek squad many times and they were always baffled at why they couldn't get it to work either.

      Received a non working versa 4, was told to return the fitbit and they would coordinate a replacement. I sent my return back and didn't hear anything for over 2 weeks, I contacted support and was told my return was received and I would get an email about my replacement, no such email came. I called again and was again told my return was received but they would escalate me. The escalation team contacted me and told me they had NOT received my return. After days of back and forth and me telling them others said my return was received they finally said they sent a replacement. When my replacement arrived it was only the pebble (no charger no band) and it wa refurbished even tho I had paid hundreds for a new one when I ordered. They then tried to gaslight me and said they had told me to only return the pebble, I had screenshots of their directions and they did NOT tell me that and they said their warranty allows them to send out refurbished items in place of new ones. I only gave the second star because I have a working item but their lack of service and gaslighting was awful. It took over a month and half from my original order to get a working item. I will not be getting any fitbit products in the future.

      Bought a Fitbit Versa 3 on April 13 2023, three months later the device stopped working, Watch face goes black, cant change to another watch face either, cant set an alarm, nor search for anything using the watch, everything is blurred out. Went through some troubleshooting with a Fitbit agent all to no avail. She was kind to create a case ID# and asked i should give it another 24 hours and if the issue persist i should call back to file a claim. i called back 4 days later, the warranty claim department asked for a receipt which i sent, only for them to respond by saying this;"Because your product was purchased through an unauthorized reseller, its not covered by our warranty. For the details of our return policy, visit www.fitbit.com/returns The warranty covers Fitbit products purchased directly from fitbit.com or an authorized retailer. We advise contacting the seller from whom you purchased the product for further assistance. For a list of popular authorized retailers, visit www.fitbit.com/where-to-buy We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding"I replied to them that it was bought from Amazon, as you can see from the link provided, Amazon, Macys, Bestbuy etc are authorized. I later got on a call with one of the Agent who said there were only 2 stores in Amazon that are authorized and not the whole of Amazon. i told them that is not fair as it was not explicitly mentioned to buy from particular stores, making it look like they are looking for a loophole not to handle complaints. I'm not a magician to know that Fitbit expects me to buy from those two stores only in Amazon. It is unethical not to make it clear and maybe it was done on purpose to not do their due diligence since been bought by *******

      A month ago I would have suggested Fitbit to anyone but with the latest software issue and the logo of death and of course after only a year and a half it's out of warranty so they will not even fix or replace it when obviously it's one of their software issues!! Don't waste the money on their products unless you are good only getting a year use out of it!! Do better fit bit and stand behind your products and mistakes !!
