      This company will randomly decide to withhold your funds for 120 days without reason. I know multiple coworkers that have gotten banned with no explanation and all their money withheld. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY

      0 stars isnt a option unfortunately this company is Unbelievable Today was the first day I was able to accept payment through square, and it is the last day I will ever use Square. For any small business owners, especially new startup owners, expect square to hold the money for at minimum 2 business days today is Friday. So in my case, it is 4 days. I will not be able to receive the money that I have worked and my guys have worked The past week. I had taken two separate payments, because the customer wasn't able to Hey on one card. I was able to transfer the first payment, but the second payment square is saying is suspicious activity. They wanted me to verify my identity. So I did, and then I receive an email stating. I have to wait until somebody looks at it. To verify my identity. This is going to cause me to lose my first contract with a very reputable business. Due to me, inability to purchase materials not to mention paying my employees. I contacted square, hoping there was something they could do. The first individual I spoke with he told me he would send me a link to where I could go to refund the money because I was hoping that the customer would be able to pay me via different method.The square employee. Would not stay on the phone to help me navigate to where I needed to go to give a refund. So I contacted the then, again explain the situation. And uh I am still unable to find out where I go to send a ********** I want to deactivate my account. And I can't, you can get a square employee to help me close my account. This is the absolute worst experience I've ever encountered with any financial ************** is extremely heartbreaking for a new company. Such as myself to be suppressed because of funds not being available.I hope this does not happen to any other individual in my situation Or any similar. I will be closing my account as soon as I can possibly find out where I go to close it.

      I have been a loyal Square user for several years, conducting a significant amount of business through their platform without any prior issues. On the morning of Wednesday, June 11, 2025, I received an unexpected message stating:"We recently reviewed your account and found activity that our platform is unable to support. As a result, we regret to inform you that your Square account has been deactivated."There was no explanation provided regarding what unsupported activity triggered this decision. Square also stated that the funds in my account would be released within two business days. As of ********** full business days ********** funds have not been released.I attempted to contact customer support multiple times for clarification, but my calls were either disconnected or unanswered. I was not given any clear information about the status of my funds or why the account was closed. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional.I am simply requesting:A clear reason for the account closure Immediate release of the funds I am owed Transparent communication moving forward At this time, I feel unsupported and left in the dark by a platform I trusted to help run my business. I sincerely hope Square will take responsibility.

      Square Company redirect when I log in my website; **********************, made me a new website for sale the products. it's awful what did they do to me. they tried to block my website and block to editing site and make a new website to me. it's illegal to do. I don't like make a new website and My product is different than retail store. I can't do it with their website. they force me to make a new website and tried to pay for that, It's illegal what did they do to me. I don't like this company and I want to investigate Square company what did they do to the other people also. they usually redirect when I log in my website from weebly site. bad company.

      Im pretty sure this company is scamming small businesses. Not sure how theyre an A+ rating. Pretty sure thats a hack. Theyre taking so many peoples money. Giving no explanation. Scammers.

      To Whom It May Concern,My name is **** ******, and I have been using Square for several years as a payment processor for my small business. Unfortunately, Im writing this due to a serious and unacceptable issue with how Square has handled a recent chargeback and how I, as a merchant, have been treated.I completed a job for a customer worth over $550. The customer paid via credit card using **********************, and shortly after, they initiated a chargeback. Despite the fact that I fully completed the job and provided my services honestly, Square did not protect me as the merchant.Worse, Square withdrew the funds from my account and claimed it would be taken directly from the same bank account they deposited the original payment into. However, that did not happen. Instead, they kept the funds and now are threatening me to repay them, even though I already did the work and the client received full service.Due to Square's mishandling, my client also sufferedbecause when I attempted to reprocess the payment, the system wouldnt allow it. This created confusion and a late payment issue I had to fix manually.I am deeply disappointed in Squares lack of accountability, transparency, and protection for long-time users like myself. This situation has not only caused me financial loss, but also loss of trust in your platform.If this matter is not resolved properly, I will be exploring legal options, including pursuing this through small claims court and filing formal complaints with the BBB, the ***** and potentially seeking out others who have experienced similar mistreatment for a class action.I expect a response and resolution immediately.Sincerely,**** ******

      Squares representatives are profoundly unqualified, unprofessional, incompetent and dire, I had to contact them for the same reason more than 20x which is about that 90 day hold which is surreal that they are trying to hold my funds that should be in my account after 3 months of waiting . This is so unethical plus the representatives are not helpful dont attempt to assist you have a rude demeanor I have No trust in Square and then with no security assurance I highly Di Not recommend beware there false advertising and unknowledgeable staff.

      Absolutely the worst company to deal with they will take your customers money **** as fraud and then hold funds for 14 days. There is zero customer support. They give you the run around every time you speak to them. They wont allow you to talk to a manager because they know they lie. This company is an absolute waste of time and extremely high fees. Look else ware for your credit card payment needs.

      This company is a joke!! Ive had my small c9ntracting conoany for ******* 4 years now. I've used the square terminal a couple of times. But have opted out of excepting credit card payments. Because every time I do. I have to wait 90 days to receive my money. Due to them saying they are making sure it's not fraudulent. Only way to get my money earlier is to provide 3 mi the of my bank statements. What right do they have to see my bank activities! Even after I've provided that. They still are not happy and still making me wait 90 days. I've given all the illegally requested information cause it was payroll and I needed to pay my employees. Not that it helped any! I still have to wait! I believe this company is a scam. Cause they have already taken there 2.8 percent without showing me there bank statements or giving me any company information! They won't even let me refund the money so my client can pay me a different way!! This is an absolute nightmare and a horrible joke!! If anyone is sueing these horrible people. Please include me in the suet and contact me for my lawyers information!
