      They have had my account in review for a month now, daily I call, email and chat with support. Apparently the department handling this doesn't have a phone. No one emails back. Now there is over $1000.00 of my credit card transactions being held hostage due to this "review". Can't get my money!

      i missent funds through cashapp & contacted cashapp via the app & numerous emails to reverse my funds from a phantom account. i requested someone to contact the account owner & if there wasn't one, to reverse my funds to me, ** my funds are unclaimed & floating in an inactive account.Basically everyone that replied did not comprehend the problem or have a manager speak to me as i requested to resolve my issue.

      Awful company. The froze my account last month to review it. But they held *********** for a full week. I guess I was lucky to get it back after reading other reviews. While they kept my money from me, I changed to a better company, but forgot to delete my account. Now, only about 3 weeks later, they have frozen it again but I have not used it since the day they did freeze it. They told me I wasnt supposed to take prepaid cards. But when I asked what that meant and why I couldnt since it was clearly in their terms that prepaid cards were accepted (I even sent them the link for their own website that stated this), I never received a response. I asked repeatedly. Run, dont walk, away from this company.

      I used the service for one day and once I had a transaction over $100 they froze the account so they could keep the money and I had to have the customers call them to get their money refunded absolutely ridiculous they just steal people's information and sell it to phiishing sites. I received around 100 junk emails about an hour after I signed up do not use this!! Also they lie about the free terminal the only thing that is free is processing an online and then they steal your customers money

      Do not use Square. I used Square to invoice my long-established, reputable customer to make a standard bank account transaction that Square encourages. My customer paid the invoice to **********************, and once Square received the money, they suspended my account without making it available to me. I got an automated response telling me my account was being closed and I would have to wait 90 days to receive my money. They did not state the exact reason it was closed. I tried for hours to talk to a real person via live chat and the phone and was unsuccessful every time. The phone defaulted to an automatic message stating my account had been closed. Now I have to rely on the word of Square that this money will be sent to me in three months.

      Square is the most unprofessional, unethical, company that I have ever delt with. TheY accepted funds for my company and then told me they deactivated the account that I just opened with them. I told Square that if they did not want to do business that was there decision however I did not understand their reason just release my deposit funds. They deactivated the new account and stated they will hold my funds for 3 months then the amount to refund may differ for some unknown reasons. I don't understand how they have stayed in business defrauding the general public consistently. I am going to fight this everyway available. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH SQUARE!!!

      Omg I don't know where to begin the worst company ever I have emailed called several times I had several chargebacks all from same customer he claims his ex wife made the dispute and she won't give the dispute reversal letter he paid me 34k to do a big job square held funds checked it all out released it when I went to move the money they again checked it released it said everything was OK now I owe them ******************************************************************************************** is this customer telling the truth that I'm in the middle of a divorce problem I have no idea square just completely left me in the dark even after several attempts of me trying to contact them I still have no idea just got a generic message saying the customer bank closed this case in ********* favor ok well why whats that mean do I owe the custermers bank do I owe square do I not owe

      Same as everyone else here.... Funds held for 90 days, when we only processed two transactions- one for a dollar and eleven cents that was a test transaction to confirm it was working, and one that really mattered for $2720. We were asked for government documents for the business and a variety of personal information which we provided- we were informed upon logging into the account that the vetting process was complete and we were good to go- less than an hour later our funds were frozen and our account deactivated. I'm gonna *** in small claims court for the **** because even their shady, quasi-legal TOC can't stop anyone with a legitimate claim for suing in small claims. Don't understand how with so many similar complaints on record here this pathetic excuse for a merchant service vendor hasn't been investigated by the **** I hope the clause to compel arbitration in their TOC that has given them the ability to flat-out rob so many hard-working people of their money is found invalid, and we all have the opportunity to sign on to a gigantic class action lawsuit that bankrupts both this company and its greedy, ethics-ignorant owners. F**k Square. Buyer beware. You would be better off donating your goods and services to charity than processing a transaction for their purchase through Square. This ethically bankrupt shell corporation must be stopped.

      They froze my account due to so-called suspicious activity, which meant that I could not transfer money nor use my debit card, nor collect payments. For them to freeze businesses acct and not offer a way to immediately rectify the situation to the owner is beyond me. They in fact completely disable a company to be able to do business, but they call it protecting the business. How is it protecting the business If you are completely taking away their ability to conduct business? There is no phone support available over the weekend. Chat support is completely useless and they do not offer you any help except to tell you to read articles.

      Square placed a hold on my transfer deposits while they confirmed I am who I say I am. They held over $550 for over a week. Im a self employed persons and those deposits are my paycheck. I had to scramble to pay creditors. I tried to get answers and it took days. They cleared me and I Finally got my money, then applied for a small cash advance loan (which Ive done before with no issues). I was turned down because they said I violated the agreement by taking prepaid cards. When I asked for clarification I got silence. Their own website says they take prepaid cards. Here: https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/5085-accepted-cards. So I really dont understand and no one seems to want to answer me. I feel like my integrity has been called into question. Ive since changed companies after over 10 years. Im done and Ive warned all my fellow masssge therapists to beware.
