      Same experience I'm seeing with many others, Uber driver relying on the flexibility it offers as a reliable side hustle, and dumb Checkr ran a background check which showed a recent ARREST or pending charge, WHICH WASN'T TRUE. Also, there is absolutely NOTHING I could do to get in contact with anyone to resolve the issue so I could make money again. I'm just trying to work!!! I'm appalled that a company could be this incompetent and mess with people's lives so intensely. If you have an issue with this company, cut your losses because the issue won't be resolved!

      So far, We have been using the company for 8 months and haven't had any issues with the criminal background check on our tenants, but due to the extreme bad reviews we had lost a few potential tenants after finding out that we use CHECKR for background checks. We will have to move to another company. Hope your company can improve in the future.

      They claim to get their information directly from your states dmv, but that cant be the truth because if it was then they wouldnt report false information. *** tried to dispute the information and they have done nothing to help me at all. I am an uber driver depending on driving to pay my bills and because their system is reporting falsely that my license is suspended. I cant drive. When you call their customer support number you get an automated message system and no matter which option you select, it just tells you the information is online and hangs up.

      My gig account for grubhub because of a background check from April. Here is what they reported:1. An expired license. If they had completed the check they should have seen that I moved across state lines and was never at any time without a valid license.2. A Speeding ticket from 2018. This speeding ticket was paid without penalty in 2018 so why was that even on the report?They still haven't notified my company that my record is clear 6 months later. I do not have confidence in this company, especially since they are not BBB accredited!

      They are completely unreliable. They never answer messages they never give complete and concise answers. Its a scam!

      Checkr is not the right company to handle background checks. I'm going to report them to the federal trade and few more agencies

      Like many others on here I am also waiting for this company to complete pre employment check. It has been well over 40 days. I'm a event bartender waiting for completion for a state university bartender job. I have already been hired to bartend for a **************** and their background check was completed in 3 days. Don't understand what is going on. ??

      This is probably the worst company I have ever encountered in my life. Its been 4 weeks and Im still waiting. The last two emails they responded too were claiming they were waiting for these counties to release information, which I find hard to believe because I have absolutely nothing on my background. Im so frustrated because for the first time I my life I found a job that I truly like and now Im waiting on some third party company to start my careerthats crazy.

      They have my information tied to my twin sisters as if we are the same person. They wont do anything to fix it. We have sent them our information showing we are different people and everything.

      Checkr is not a reliable source for employee background information for any business. If I was a business. Checkr would be the last company I would use for employee background checks. Business that rely on Checkr can suffer greatly with legal issues due to false and accurate information for businesses. Numerous times the information Checkr acquires is unregulated information that is completely false, wrong and mis-represented. Checkr claimes on their web site the information they provide is 100% guarenteed accurate. 99% of the time Checkr claims they receive their information from the courts. It most cases not true..Checkr is breaking so many state and federal laws its un-real. Uber and Lyft are also breaking major federal and state laws by using checkr for background checks on drivers with criminal incidents that have occurred even on expunged and cleared records by a court judge as far back as 30 years ago and deactivating their driver accounts. Yes the information is public for anyone to view but. Under **************** law. Convictions and arrests that are more than 7 years old cannot be included on a background check in the *******************. This is common business practices for the company Checkr. Checkr goes beyond 7 years. CA Labor Law code *****. Ride share companies aren't allowed to use incidents towards drivers that have been dismissed or sealed convictions. Checkr is known for given information in their background checks to ride share companies such as Uber and Lyft about drivers that have been dismissed on their convictions and then Uber and Lyft deactivate drivers for sealed and dismissed convictions. Which is illegal in the state of **********. Uber, Lyft and Checkr offer no help to regain drivers with their driving Uber And Lyft accounts on convictions that have been dismissed and sealed by a judge in the state of **********. Uber, Lyft and Checkr this is common practice *** it's illegal! And yet they continue to do it.
