      Horrible. Trying to get a decent side hustle delivering food/groceries. I applied to Uber Eats, Door Dash and Shipt. ALL go through this horrible company. I submitted my information for background check to Checkr. They asked me for my license which i furnished each time i applied to another company. Then they say my report is suspended. I actually called and got through after waiting 1.5 hours on the line. She told me everything is good now and it should go through, simultaneously i was messaging Checkr online since i requested a ticket to get an email from someone. That person who emailed me said something different about my states DMV not releasing electronic records and i had to go in person to get those records and submit to the companies i applied directly. I went ahead and did that paid the little 9 dollar fee and everything. I contact Uber and Door Dash and they said that when they check it says i need my license to be submitted. WHAT?!?!?!?!? I already did that. I tried again to call checkr waited online for another 3 hours then got disconnected. The call back system doesn't work either all they say is "im sorry but we couldnt complete your request". I have no criminal record nor poor driving history why is this so complicated!!!! There is no one that you can speak to on either end and no one can provide a straight answer. Why are these companies going through CHECKR!!!!! Probably cause they are cheap *** in providing services.

      I dont understand why this company still in business. This is the only company that blocks my Social Security number for background check it does not take this long to run a background check. They have the simplest workers that work for this company. Nobody knows how to do their job nobody can get anything done. Why is it taken over two weeks to get a background check, when it takes less than an hour to get a background check any place else now because of them Im losing out on money!!

      I work for a nationwide company that uses Checkr daily. I find it unfair that those with a Tax ID and EIN are not able to get a background check done with this company. Those are legit citizens of the U.S. doing everything they can to pay taxes and be legit. Yet they are punished and can't move through your SSN only company. Thus not able to work with our company. its a shame and you should really re think this.

      Chekr used two not-at-fault accidents I was involved in as a detriment to my record which my employer used for disallowing me to drive for them. Chekr is more interested in satisfying their paying customers (employers) than being fair to those adversely affected by their reports.

      They did a background supposedly from uber in July that gave a false report of fail to register vehicle from the ***************** from ****. It wasn't even in my birth month, lol. I contacted the ***************** and I don't exist as far as they are concerned. I've gotten nothing but the run around from both uber and checkr to contact each other. This is so ridiculous, my guess is checkr is actually the govt doing this. At least I have proof of how bogus it is in case it comes up in the future. They should be fined and in jail for doing this to people. I wish we could leave zero stars.

      Horrible customer service! Completely unable to get any help to correct any of your background check problems on a timely manner.Upon calling them, their automated "answers" that don't really help anyone will hang up on you when the recording is finished. If you pick the correct route and make it through to get in the que for actual live help, there's then an answering machine that says they're unable to take your call and then it also just hangs up!With any luck, this pathetic company will go out of business soon!

      Ive been driving for Uber for the last 3 years and this month **** my annual background check. LETS KERP IN MIND THE LAST 3 YEARS!!! Per Uber requirements and listed on their website they perform a 7 year background check. This year Uber decided to use CHECKr to perform their background now all of sudden Im disqualified. Now I was classified as an Uber Pro drive in the GOLD STATUS with a 4.5 rating. CHECKr performed a lifetime background check snd reported to Uber as if I have current charges although it was 27 years ago. I dont have any current/pending charges. Never been arrested since then. The custom service representatives for both Uber and well with CHECKr you can never speak with a live person, it terrible. No live communication just via online app. I thank GOD **** wasnt a full time job for me. But CHECKEr is really interrupting people Livelihood. Some people drive Uber for a living. If Uber only requires a 7 year background check why CHECKEr running a lifetime check and sending g it to UBER!?!?!?!

      Checkr has to be the WORST background check site Ive ever used. They take a month or longer to get background checks back. Ive waited about 5 to 7 months for a background check back for a job last year. Now this year Ive waited 2 weeks still no background check has returned.

      Similar experience some are having with Uber using them as a third party background check. False criminal information possibly from someone with the same name or DOB despite having my DL and SS number. Trying to fix is a nightmare as there are no customer reps I can talk to directly. I have lost my side gig because of them and am still waiting for a conclusion. There is also no timeline this could take a week or a month with a high likelihood of this issue not being fixed.
