      On February 23, 2023, I booked a stay for spring break vacation with my son to ********** with AirBnB. I provided my state ID as requested which has my date of birth clear as day on it. On February 24, 2023, I received two different emails from AirBnB stating my money has been refunded with a canceled trip and that my account was deactivated due to criminal charges on my background check. Then I received an email from Inflection Solutions stating the same thing and that I can dispute the finds. At this point I'm confused because I know this is not me and have someone stolen my identity. Well today, February 27th, I contacted the state court and found out that this person has the same name but a different birthday and social security number than I. Now at this point I'm upset, not at AirBnB but at the company that they decided to use that did an inaccurate background check on me. AirBnB either need to use another company that will do a better job on background checks or the company needs to train their staff better on accuracy when doing background checks.

      I am rejecting this response because if Airbnb provided them with my license information, which contains my date of birth, then it shouldn't have been any reason I was mistaken with another ***********************. We had two different dates of birth as well as two different social security numbers. With this inaccurate search they caused me to think my identity was stole and I had to make other stay arrangements for my vacation with my son. The business need to find a better more accurate way of verifying host and guest identities for Airbnb.

      I am Trying to use my Airbnb Ac**unt, but they said my ac**unt is blocked because I have more than one ac**unt, but when I told them to remove one of the ac**unt, they said my ac**unt is blocked for other reason which was not clearly explained over the phone. Then later I received an email saying that they sent an email in July 2020 where I needed to provide with some information, but I did not provided it. I wasn't aware about any case against me. I had a reservation that was cancelled, saying that the place was being repaired. Just today I came to know, there was some situation that is prevented me from booking and later from using my ac**unt. I don't even have access to see the original email they sent in 2020 to find out what is the issue and how I can address this issue. I am looking forward for a resolution, My wife and I have some properties listed, and I need to be included as ** host.

      I am rejecting this response because: This Incident that occurred 25 years ago. I am now a well model citizen. I haven't had any offence in the last two decades. It is also important to know that the battery on the ****** was a verbal, not a physical charge. 

      I own a respectful tree service business in Brevard County for two decades, with very good customers feedback. I believe that I don't represent any risk for the ***************** My wife and I been renting vacation property for over two years at a super host level. So we understand our responsibility as both hosts and guests. I will attach a link to my business in ******* so that you can confirm my statement.

      I am applying to be a host at Airbnb and had my request denied because inflections.com, did a background check on me. The information that they received is not me, is completely false and untrue of my name. I provided airbnb my name birthday and a government issue id. I get that vetting is a process, but at least get it right. All court documents filed with the county or state will have the full name, birthday, and since you have been processed through the system it will have a picture photo. Even if for some estranged reason someone may have the same name meaning first and last name. I bet the middle name wouldn't be the same or the mug shot. Or the photo that was taken for the crime that you were arrested for. Its a poor effort for this company to have me do their work for them. If you are going to hold up people because you used another website to do research for you that's just not right. I should not have to prove my innocence because your lack of effort. Please do your research on me and the public the right way and unblock my profile so that I can get back to my life. And let Airbnb know that I am clear to rent my house. It would probably be a good standard if you just let people know up front that they will have to wait 30 days while you do your research the correct way before throwing out false information, and getting bad reviews.

      I got into some trouble when I was younger and have received a full pardon from the state but this service keeps reporting false information. I cant even use Airbnb. I would just like it corrected so I can live my life.

      I have been try to access my Air BnB account and received a notification that my account was lock. I contacted Air BnB and an Ambassador Representative and he told me that someone would contact me to explain why my account was lock because he had no information to why my account have been suspended. I received a email and stated my account is lock because of my background. They claim they emailed me a letter back in Jan 2019. I never received said letter. I also have book through Air BNB before a couple of times and book an Air BnB last year in May for my some birthday in **********. I had this issue last year but will still able to book and now all of a sudden Im block. I was also trying to add my properties on there to host. But thanks Infection for ruining my business Im trying to start. Please correct your info that yall reported To Air BNB also there is no way to dispute whatever information that hinder me to access my account.

      Airbnb cancelled my account along with my sisters. They said to talk to inflection to appeal my consumer report. There is no way to do so on their website. I have never booked anything on Airbnb and have never violated any of their policies. Neither has my sister. I also live in another state than her. Very bad system

      Inflection pulled incorrect information about a criminal record which caused my Airbnb account to be frozen, creating a massive inconvenience for my family. If a huge company like Airbnb is using a background company like Inflection, processes need to become better as it seems this is not an isolated incident.

      Inflection has inaccurate information about me and my husband which cause for our Airbnb listing to get canceled. They couldn't provide proof that they had any criminal records on any of us or resolve the issue with Airbnb.

      i used air bnb this past summer and have a 5 star rating... i booked a stay recently only to be sent an email a few hours later saying my trip was cancelled, being refunded, and that i could never use air bnb again because of inflection's background check. i have no problems getting background checks from anyone else, and i guess this summer i was fine as a customer but all of a sudden i'm not? also, air bnb and inflection like to tell people to contact the other company about this issue and give the customer the run around, while links to FCRA to tell us about our rights are dead links.

      I am filing a complaint about Inflection ************. They have reported to AirBnB that I have a criminal record. I cannot access the Inflection page to file a complaint and AirBnB will not provide me with a copy of the report so I can dispute. See abbreviated message. The link provided only takes you to the final ***** homepage. Im ******* with Airbnb.
