Their policy states that if someone takes money out of my account erroneously that I will get my no money back immediately and they will fight with the other party. The refuse to honor this policy and wont give me my money back.Business Response

My issues started on 2/1/2023. On my SoFi credit card, I noticed a charge that I wanted to dispute. At that time, they canceled my card and told me they reissued a new one. I waited, did not receive the card, called back and found that they sent it to my old address. An address I had changed over one year ago. I made this change in the mobile application and this change was reflected in the app as well as reflected on the website.After over 30 days of going round for round with support and supervises, I was never able to get them to fix the problem they created in the system. Not one single person would stop the circular support cycle we were on. So I was forced to close my Sofie account . I had Zero way to get control of this account and no one gave a rats a** about fixing it.Business Response

On 02/23/23 i went to the atm to withdraw money.I checked that the funds were in the account before i went to the atm.Im at the atm putting in my pin and selecting $500 to withdraw.Then the screen came up with a $2.95 fee to withdraw.I went through the process and a screen popped up saying insufficient funds.no money came out of the atm.a receipt was printed showing the insufficient funds (which i will provide). I logged into my account and the $502 charge posted to my account.I immediately contacted sofi and they opened up a dispute (or so i thought).Fast forward to today i log into my account and my account is (closed/frozen) with the representative saying due to activity it was closed.he said that theres no upper level.I believe that sofi stole my money because the atm said that there was insufficient funds.I still havent received my money back.Business Response

I set up my SoFi checking account on February 2nd and added several thousand dollars to it. I got my direct deposit (paycheck) sent to the account and set it as default for all of my credit card payments. Then, today (Feb 28th), they emailed me to say that they had closed it and that they would send me a check with my balance of roughly $7000 in 30 days. I called them but they would not tell me the reason for the closure, and they said they could not reopen it. I have no idea why this happened or why I have to wait 30 days to get my money back.Business Response

On 2/16/2023 I regain access to my SoFi account and recognized 22 unauthorized transactions that amounted to $3305.93 I immediately reporter all of these transactions to Sofi. They informed me that this process could take up to 10 business days after the 10 business days sofi credited 13 of the transactions back to my account and end denied the other nine transactions but this was all one claim I also provided police reports, and and all documents supporting that my phone was stolen, and my account has been hacked. The have been very rude. As far as the customer service representative they have treated me harsh, and as if I am a criminal, my family is of suffering and sofi dont seems to care please helpBusiness Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I reported 22 transactions they were all on authorized at the same time. Some of the transactions was refunded to my account while the others were denied. All of these transactions was reported at once I dont understand how someone can be denied. The song could be approved. It seems to me if you approve one you approve all and if you deny one transaction, you deny all this hasnt made sense to me yet so far hasnt provided me with any updates like they have said I asked him I claim hoe be reopen several times they tell me that I have but when I call bet you havent ever representative tell me some different I feel like a criminal soFiHas treated me as if I am a thief when Im clearly a victim of fraud. *** already provided police report and all evidence showing that all my accounts have been promised but thats still not enough please help me and my family need our phones. This is horrible. Please return my funds

Please return my funds this is not how business goes .. why wasnt my the whole claim denied this its far pls help.., I provided proof of every document to Guys ask for including a police report .. how could pick which transactions to approve and which ones to deny with all this happened at the same time and I have not received any in the mail SOFI PLEASE REFUND MY FUNDS ASAP

My checking account had fraudulent charges i filed a dispute, a week later i was notified that SoFi had competed it's investigation and that they rules against me, the response included the fact that i could ask to see the information they had use to rule against me, i did this, after a couple of bogus attempts they do send a file i was able to open, upon opening it i realized they had done absolutely zero investigation, i responded to them by stating exactly this. They then sent me a response telling me they were going to close my account on the 21st of february on the 24th of February my lapd pension direct deposit was not returned and i att noted to transfer the money to an external account they then blocked my access to everything including blocked my phone number from being able to call them i have sent numerous emails and chated gotten zero response and have called from other numbers gotten through they transfer me to the back room and it has me leave a message and i of course have not again recieved any response from them. So my agitating frustration is obviously increasing and apparently when they said i have the right to see the evidence the acquired and used against me to make there decision was apparently a misleading statement as I'm sure this is a requirement by whomever makes banking laws but if u bank at SoFi and u do this they will then jack u around and steal hold keep ur funds away from you. I have stage 4 cancer was a victim if fraud then a victim of SoFi banks lazy and obnoxious " back office" and still sit here waiting on the corporation to get me my money, the information used stated that since i live in ********** they say i must have done the fraud myself, my address on the account is in east ***** and that's where i was and still am.Business Response

On 2/24/23, approximately 2:13pm I was notified via email that my Sofi Checking Card was added to ****** pay. Upon realizing this I immediately contacted SoFI directly and spoke to customer services, where initially I was informed by the agent that it was probably nothing and that ****** will make inquiries from time to time into checking accounts. After disputing this and feeling uncomfortable about the situation I read the email I received about my checking card being added to ****** Pay and was informed by the agent that perhaps my account was being taken over and transferred me to their fraud department. After explaining the situation again to their department, it was determined that my account was indeed taken over because my contact information was changed, which the agent witnessed herself. At this time I didn't feel comfortable having my money my account and requested to have it withdrawn. I was told that I couldn't because the account was frozen, but that she would look into it further. After being put on hold, I subsequently was advised I could wire my money out. It was at this time that I noticed a ******* wired out of my account to a fraudulent person. I was advised that this was going to be looked into by the fraud department and that i would be contacted 24/48 hours. I've tried calling to speak to a live agent from the corresponding department and have met barriers everywhere. Either I'm not able to get through and have to access a direct agent by calling a non-related department or I'm told I would get a call back. It's been well over 72 hours and still haven't heard from anyone from SoFi's fraud department. During which time, I don't have access to my checking account, which is needed to survive. I am extremely frustrated that SoFi's negligence in allowing money to be wired out of my account and inaccessibility to discuss my concerns extremely unprofessional and reflects poorly on SoFi's ability provide 21st security in their banking.Business Response

Fraud- Sofi does not provide direct customer support to address fraud. They do not advertise a fraud ***** My identify was compromised and I have been attempting to have Sofi close the account and lock down my information in their system The only contact is a chirpy audio recording with no options for human contact or fraud remediation. So I had some fraudulent charges on my account that were Apple Cash related after contact SoFi to inform them of the fraudulent charges that was done on my account. They keep on deny my claim, providing credit, or a resolution on this matter, after reaching out and informing them that these were fraudulent and I did not get any one permission to make these charges and after getting an email informed me that my claim was denied.
