      I started banking with Sofi a few months back but I regret it. I signed up because I wanted to get paid earlier but I only get paid one day early. To its not even worth it, I might as well wait until the Friday. So I never received my direct deposit from the bank Sofi because the holiday is on a Thursday and I usually get my direct deposit on Thursday. Because its the holiday the bank is closed so that means I cant get my direct deposit today. Im upset because bills were due and cant get paid until the next day. But when I banked with a brick and mortar bank I would get my check 1 day earlier depending on how the holiday falls. This would not have happened with my old bank account because my deposit would have been deposited yesterday. Also changed bank so Im done with Sofi bank they will not do me like this again and nothing to tell me but oh its our apologies.

      This bank is a big time scam, it is not even in The BBB .They closed my account and did not return me my remaining balance, they said i am not entitled for my remaining balance. So basically they closed my account and took my reming balance, i mean what kind of bank does this kind of s*** i have accounts with other banks and when i close the acc they send my remaining balance in cheque. So this bank is an absolute SCAM BANK SOFI , Never open an account wit this bank or else i will loose ur money. Thank you.

      I have had SoFi since January, and recently got a new job where direct deposit takes a few weeks to set up so I recieved my first 2 checks via paper mail. I went to deposit them in my SoFi checking account and found out I had a daily deposit limit of $1000, which each paper check exceeded by just a small amount. I contacted SoFi's customer service via chat twice and was told I was SOL, then was disconnected when I asked for a managed both times. I tried one more time and asked for a call, and was given the customer service phone number to call. I called and spoke to an agent, who further explained that I was SOL, and then warm transferred me to a manager. The manager then told me the same thing. I asked why my deposit limit was $1000, to which he explained the age of my account is a big factor. I asked if this has been an issue for other people or if SoFi has lost business over this issue, to which the exasperated-sounding manager said it has been a common issue that is they frequently lose business over. I asked him how to close my account, and decided he sounded sad enough without me giving him more reasons to hate his job, and ended the call. I will be closing my account with ********************** as soon as I open an account with a bank that will let me deposit my pay.

      What a joke. I set up an account. I make 6 figures. They arent verified with adp. My company had to send a paper check. Once the check deposits and clears dd can start. Sofi put a 500 weekly limit and 1000 monthly limit on deposits. i reached out via chat, cant do anything. i reached out via phone cant do anything. they actually suggested I have my employer split it into 500 increment checks and wait months to be fully paid. i requested a supervisor and held for half an hour before being disconnected by them. Ill be going to TD on Monday to open an account and closing out sofi.

      I received a letter of prequalification upto $100,000 at a 8.99% rate. When I applied they denied me. Now they have all my personal information. My credit score is 776. I get paid $120.000 and I was asking for a $75,000 loan. SoFi is a fraud consumer be aware!!!! Please investigate!!!

      SoFi continually shows that they implement systems that they are unequipped to handle. I have had two separate issues with SoFi that were completely unrelated and the resolution I was given for both were the same, "we do not have the ability to correct that". SoFi advertises that services that they are untrained, uneducated, and unwilling to deal with. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THEM.

      Sofi saved me. I wasn't in a good place and wanted my life back. It's only been 9 months and my Credit Score has gone up 162 points. Wow. My heart beats so fast thinking about it. Someone pinch me. Thank you Sofi!!

      I received an email from SoFi today 6/8/24 stating that my account was closed due to an overdue balance of $36.95. I called SoFi for clarification and was advised this was due to a payment made in April. I asked if any notices were sent and I was advised by an agent named ******* that the only notices sent to me according to their records were an account statement on 6/3/24 and the notification today about the account closure. This is such a horrible business practice. If I had been contacted prior to the account closure I would have paid it immediately. The agent advised that I cannot even pay it with them but have to wait until I am contacted by a third-party collections agency. This policy makes no sense whatsoever. If you want the money, contact me first and allow me to pay it instead of sending it to a collections agency. Furthermore, at least tell me the name of the agency! I am very frustrated with this situation.

      DISPUTE # ******** 4/30/24. SOFI is WORST than the people who stole money from my account! Debit card was scammed they charged **************************** *********** Arkansas back to back in a matter of 30 minutes all in the amounts of ***** down to the amounts of a ***** all different amounts SOFI told me that there was no wrongdoing I live in ******** all my ******* transactions are out of ******** I may have made one or two online purchases in the last 4 years since I've been with SOFI this is the worst bank stealing money from me hard-earned money I'm 66 years old living on social security along with my paycheck and they will not give me back my $334. SOFI RATING IS ZERO!!!

      Very difficult to work with!! They require far too much personal information. Even going as far as demading your social security card (after you verbally have given it) against the recommendation of social security gov advising not to and explaining that they can contact them to confirm your social security but NOT to share your card. Please note that this is after everything you've provided already such as a selfie, Drivers license, most recent paystub, W2 and other documentation. Unreal experience!!
