      Disputed unauthorized withdrawals from my brothers account and they told me after their investigation that they concluded that the majority of the withdrawals were legitimate and would not restore the money he lost to his account! My brother told me he never authorized these transactions. Very dissatisfied with this company. Doesnt even deserve one star.

      This is the worse bank ever! My name is ************************************* Ive been banking with them for months. I received a zelle payment and the shut down my account and didnt allow me access to my funds. They wont provide me with an account closure date and wont give me any information on when I will receive my money from them. They hang up in my face and they wont even tell me why theyre closing my account they are facing a law suit. They are a rip off and think that they have the upper hand but when this lawsuit hits them we will see who has the last laugh. **************** terrible. I advise everyone to not put any of your funds into this bank. They have foreign people who answer the phones who hang up on you to avoid answering questions about your money. No managers no upper management no help at all. Civil suit

      I have tried for 2 months to gain access to my account and no luck. No matter what process I try with them on the phone. Would not recommend them to anyone. They even gave me a hard time when I told them to close my account and send me a check. Then tell me it will take 30 days to get my check. Bad Business

We have spoken with 6 different Sofi employees, 2 being Acct Mgrs over a week ago in regard to a pay check my daughter deposited. We've been told 6 different things ranging from deposit will be rejected because she can only deposit $500 a day. We took the pay check & she opened an acct else where. Mean while Sofi processed half of her deposit, $500 of $1008. Over a week later & still no access to ****************************** can't figure out how to complete the deposit of her check. Last Acct Mgr now says a ticket to the bank office should have been submitted. ETA now 1-2 weeks IF they "aren't swamped" with cases. Swamped means a lot of issues, careful with your money.Date of experience: April 13, 2024

      I opened this bank account about 2 months ago everything was going good till I got my check into my account $1,200 I got to spend only maybe $500 and then they put a stop on my account and it's been 5 days that I've been without money my lights have gotten turned off and I have no food at the house for my kids to eat all because they don't want to release my money because they're doing a review on it I work hard for my money I don't know what these people are thinking I wish somebody can help me get my money to turn my lights back on

      Sofi is a terrible company. Their customer service is abysmal - I was using the live chat and asked to resend the cosigner email and they gave me a page long explanation of what a cosigner does. Then finally I got to complete the cosigner portion and they immediately denied my son because he has no credit history. Is that not the point of a cosigner??? (Who makes plenty of income to cover his loan by the way.) I'm so glad they now have all of our personal information and we have nothing to show for it. Do not waste your time.

      I recently applied for a personal loan on April 14 *****. Everyday I was asked to upload documents. On Friday, April 19*****, I cancelled my loan application because once again I was asked to upload documents. This company is a waste of time. I could use my bank to get a loan faster. Credit karma recommended this company. Consumers be aware. Dont waste your time with SOFI. Today I called and canceled my loan application. The representative at first didnt want to cancel my account because she didnt understand the name of my city. That made me laugh. I will NEVER do business with them again and I would not recommend them unless you cannot get a loan from any other source.

      horrible lender. Was given all information they requested and they kept declining the documents. They kept stating they wanted to "make sure i was safe". The irony was they kept pushing to open a SoFi account. Anyone with a brain would know their process is nearly impossible JUST to force customers to open a SoFi banking account. I can see why the rating stars for this company is a 1-2. Their approach is a great way to show their investors that they have an exponential customer "gross" growth. Would love to see their actual net growth. I can Guarantee they would not match. Horrible business practice. Wasted a point on my credit score on this pathetic company.

      I have two accounts with them, standard savings and checking, and have been using them for a few years now with no problems. This year, however, they decided to let someone steal my money despite me responding to a message from the bank saying that no, I did not authorize that transaction. So now, here it is: my money is still stolen while they take their time to investigate. It should be fairly clear. My money was stolen when someone got a hold of my debit card. I reported the card stolen and informed them of this fact via phone call as soon as possible, too. Oh, but they have to investigate, even though it's a clear case of theft and fraud. They'll let the thief take the money instantly and then make the end user suffer for it. When this is over and done, with either me getting my money back or not, I'm done with this bank. Any bank willing to allow people to steal from accounts and then give canned answers while providing no real help or solution for the time being while waiting for an "investigation" should not be bothered with.

      Last month my husbands debit card was hacked, this month mine was. Both times they took out over $300. It has been 10 Days and Ive called them everyday and all SOFI can say is the back office has to review the dispute and there is no updates and no way to get ahold of the back office. They said the back office has no phone. Which I think is ridiculous for a bank. The hacker was international. Also the day after I made the dispute with SOFI the next day yet another charge went through. I would have thought they would have froze my card however they did not! So I have yet another pending dispute! Also if you use mobile check deposit be prepared to wait 7 days to get your money in your account!
