Terrible customer service, the manager was rude and dismissive, talking a mile a minute and attempting to disconnect my call. They lie and deceit people to open accounts with a promise of a bonus, then after months of putting you off by telling you, call back in 30 days, 2 weeks, then **** business days, 5-7 days and on and on. I completed ALL requirements to receive my bonus only to be told months later that I didn't qualify. It's all a SCAM. *WARNING* DO NOT BANK HERE OR TRUST WHAT THEY TELL YOU!!!!! ZERO stars if it was possible.SoFi

I was looking to get a personal loan. ************ said I had outstanding chance of getting approved. I checked the terms and decided to apply for the loan with terms that best suited my needs. I was informed it looked great and that I was approved. They asked me to submit documentation and ran a hard credit check on me and said that it would take a couple days to hear back that the money would be going into my bank account. When I did not hear back I checked and saw that the loan was denied because they could not identify me. I do not understand how they can't identify me since usually it is name, DOB, SS number and address but they said I could not reapply. I wasted my time and energy with them and have nothing nice to say about them, BEWARE!!!!!!! This is just wrong and not to mention that I was never notified about it. I found out on my own. Shame on them, Shame on them, Shame on them!!!!!!SoFi

To deposit any money youre charged about $5 and you can only deposit 500 at a time. Also i just created a dispute over a $500 check pulled from my account that wasnt from me and they told me to wait 10 business days for them to resolve it. Only AFTER those 10 days if they DECIDE to credit me those funds in the meantime they will, its not even guaranteed. I will be moving back to a bigger bank thank you for the terrible experienceSoFi

They sold my mortgage loan to an unknown company before even making the first payment. That company does no longer answer questions online and customer reps does not have basic knowledge on mortgages.SoFi

Opened a checking/savings account with them, mobile deposited a check directly from another bank, they accepted my money and froze my account. I haven’t had access to my money for a month now. I call customers service and they can’t even tell me WHY my account is frozen! Stay far away from sofi— complete scam!!! Definitely recording every call and keeping records. I am waiting for this class action.SoFi

There was a transaction made on my account from the same gas station twice in the same day equally $304. I immediately reported it when I noticed and they advised me after waiting 10 days that they see no error and would not be refunding. This gas station is no where near my location and if they researched all other gas transactions they would see Ive spent no more than $70 (depending on gas prices). So Im in the process of trying to obtain additional information and disputing the dispute and they have advised me it would take 90 days. 90 days to determine if they will overturn their original decision while I, as a single parent had partial rent money stolen and now have to figure it out. Terrible customer service and I have immediately switched back to Chase. Was in it for the **** but not even worth it.SoFi

Not happy Im not happy at all. I deposited a mobile check from catholic charity. Everyone knows thats a national organization. Its real. Verify my check and stop holding my money that I desperately need! Will never ever Be using this for mobile deposit ever again or anything from now on its getting cashed the old fashioned way. Not sure how yall can just hold someones money hostage and ask us to be ok or wait for this fraud team to call me back, like I have all year to wait. Then your first representative hung up on me telling me they know nothing and cant reach anyone, this isnt ok! This isnt ok!!!!! I want an answer today or Im taking legal action.SoFi

SoFi gives false advertising on television To me they are cons ..
