Terrible Bank. I had fraud on my account on 10/16. They froze my account and it has been *********** since. Their customer service is sketchy since they have 1 person in the ****************** I guess and he has no supervisors that can vouch for him. Sadly a check had cleared right when this happened leaving all my money in an account I can't touch. How am I supposed to pay my bills? This one person ************************* keeps telling me the same thing over and over about the *********** being the ones to eventually open the account and keep my eyes open for that email. Meanwhile I think this bank stole my money.SoFi

I had a checking and savings account for a while but didn't really use it. After mobile depositing a check my account was restricted and the check was not deposited. The account remains restricted so I called them to close the account and request a check for the remainder in my account. I was informed that my account has funds and cannot be closed and funds cannot be transferred because my account is locked due to an "internal investigation". I cashed the check at my regular bank and it went through just fine so I called Sofi to notify them that their bs "investigation" was moot and they told me that my account will remain frozen and they will not close this account. AVOID THIS THIEVING COMPANY.SoFi

I made a mobile check deposit on October 19 and they froze my account pending review. I cannot access any of my money even the amount that I had before the check was deposited. When you call **************** or you get as we apologize for any inconvenience. If you ask for a supervisor, you will be told that they do not have any supervisors when you ask for a return phone call from a supervisor or manager. You are told that they can put a message but cannot guarantee you will get a phone call. Since its an online bank, you cannot walk into a branch and get a resolution. I have been hung up on four times and 10 days later my account is still frozen.SoFi

SOFI IS AWFUL!I RECIVED A SPOOFER NUMBER CALL AND THEY ACTED LIKE SOFI AND TRANSFERED ALL MY MONEY OUT OF MY ACC TO THIERS USING PAY A FRIEND WHICH IDK HOW TO USE ITS BEEN ALMOST TWO WEEKS AND NO RESPONSE I STARTED MY OWN INVESTGATION SO WHEN THEY RESPOND OR CALL BACK I CAN SEND THEM ALL THE **** OF THE SUBJECT MY PD I WORK AT TOLD ME TO DO THAT SINCE I WAS ACCUSED OF DOING IT MYSELF BY SOFI IT WAS OVER **** DOLLARS THEY WONT GIVE ME BACK SINCE I DID IT ACCORDING TO SOFI THEY WILL HEAR FROM ME OR MY ATTORNEY SOONSoFi

This BANK should be shut down. If they cancel your debit card, there is no way to expedite receipt of new card. If you ask to speak with management, suspiciously, they have the same answers as ******************* unfortunately, there is NOTHING we can do to assist". You cannot contact the debit card merchant, that issues the card, to get a date of expiration and cvv number. WHAT KIND OF FDIC INSURED FINANCIAL INSTITUTION IS THIS?! UTTERLY RIDICULOUSSoFi

Lousy customer service and it takes long to receive checks. I opened my account on the 9th of the month and they said I should receive my checks within 14 days. It is the 26th of the month and I still have not received my checks. I called the bank to ask when I should receive my checks and it took me 20 minutes to reach a human being. On their automated system there wasn't even an option to talk to anyone about the savings and checking accounts so i had to select talking to a loan officer first and they had to transfer me to someone in personal banking to address my issue with the savings and checking accounts. You will however get so many marketing emails from them. The only good thing is the interest rate on the savings account but if I had known before setting up the account how bad the customer service is I would have gone with another online bank offering high yields on savings accounts.SoFi

I did a dispute with my bank because I went to an Atm and the money did not dispense. The bank Atm I used told me to do the dispute because they couldnt just give me the money without having and **** with them. All this to say I gave SOFI THE *** RECEIPT THAT THE ACTUAL BANKING MANAGER gave me and SoFi said they couldnt find any discrepancy. On top of that it happened on a Monday and I was denied my claim on a Wednesday. When has a dispute ever went through that fast. They never even reached out to the other bank. I am currently in disbelief and still fighting for my money of 803$. This is by far the worst bank ever and I would not recommend my dog to open and **** with themSoFi

No different then a loan shark, mistakenly chose to receive a reduced rate which cost me 2,160$ and when i tried to correct I was told there was nothing they could do and even paid the loan off on day one so a one day loan cost me ****% APR. If that is not predatory I have no idea what is. A+ rating but a **** stars mean that either BBB just doesn't care or someone is lining their pockets.SoFi

Sofi should be sued by a class action lawsuit specialist.They actually take your personal information and start an account without allowing the account to be funded by a major debit/credit card.This is fraud. As they tell you that it takes a couple minutes to start an account and that you can add funds in minutes with a quick $50.transaction using a card. But then they do the old bait and switch and tell you that you have to link a different bank account.I am seeking answers from the *** on how they are able to start a bank account without it being funded.SoFi
