      These people STOLE my investments, saving and checking without reason. They refuse me access to my own money for 30+ days without an explanation. They are the worst choice you could make in terms of banking. Absolutely the worst decision you can make in terms of banking.

      Do not fall for the 4.5% APY savings account. I created a new account, and deposited a check to fund it, and my account is frozen. What a horrible first impression. I've called every day this week and customer service reps ***** just as frustrated. There is no timeline for when my accounts will be unfrozen, I've read anywhere from weeks to months on online forums. I did not read the BBB reviews before signing up, and I wish I had. STAY AWAY FROM SOFI.

      Sept 8, 2023 reported fraudulent activity on account. They froze the account. Disbersed refund for 6 of the 9 transactions. Called several times and get told the same thing. No time frame on unfreezing account, money in my account is unattainable. Still waiting on 3 transactions to be credited back and for account to be unlocked. This bank evidently is great at stealing consumers money and s******* the owner of account over.

      I am writing to express my utter disappointment in my experience with sofi so far. My account was placed on restriction last Monday. It was due to a typo on a check I uploaded. Since then Ive been calling everyday to find out whats going on. I keep getting told its with the internal review team and theres no ETA on when this issue will be resolved. ITS BEEN 3 WEEKS! I was also told that I cannot speak with a supervisor and that they are the last point of contact! Then I was hung up on yesterday by a member of the security team because she couldnt tell me where I can read in the terms of use where it states I cant close my account at my discretion. Initially I was in enjoying my account with you all. Now Im Extremely upset and will likely close my account once this is resolved. I get weekly CHILD SUPPORT checks to this account that I am unable to access to provide for my child! I also have auto draft payments set up for my credit card payments which have been unable to go through causing my credit score to decline. This experience is repulsive and I dont wish this on anyone. They dont care about their customers

      SOFI will freeze your account and never follow up !!! ******** care will not transfer you to anyone higher up , extremely rude will hang up on you !! SO DO NOT PUT MONEY IN THEIR ACCOUNTS !!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THE DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!! Refused to explain why my account was froze I have over $1600 STUCK for over a week with no response from their internal team EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL

      My accounts are frozen. I tried to deposit a couple of checks from closing my WF accounts, but they were denied. So, I chatted with a rep and was informed to write my account number and 'mobile deposit for ********************** bank's on the back. I did and it still was denied. Then they froze my account. I called yesterday to find out how to get the freeze off and cs informed me that internal review needs to look at something. I tried to find a timeframe when I should here back but they couldn't tell me. I called today after no one reached out and the rep said that it is under internal review. I wanted to know the reason and timeframe but they said that's all they can do and will have to end the call. Then hung up on me! I called again and got the same run around. Horrible customer service. There is no transparency for my own account. And I am scared from reading other reviews that they will be holding my money hostage for an indeterminate amount of time and my bills will not be paid. Do not bank with Sofi. I had such high hopes.....

      I don't believe they are doing fraud, they just promise a bunch and all I've gotten was a ton of SPAM, crypto this and that, was supposed to get a bonus, NO BONUS, they have currently had my money for more than five days, ********** your money takes over FIVE DAYS, and they have had my money and won't give it back, or allow me to transfer it back to my savings account.Tried their help chat, might have gotten a human, and they were about as useful and mammary glands on a warthog.I tried making a trade, and after THREE BUSINESS DAYS, no execution of that trade, so I cancelled it.They promise a lot, and I think they are just trying to get people to invest in crypto, I gave them a chance, and I suggest that you avoid them.

      Would not do business with Sofi. Setup a checking/savings account and tried to move money over from our old account to our new ********************** account and it was returned. Not sure what I did wrong so I tried it again to make sure I didn't miss anything, same thing hsppened and Sofi cancelled the account saying we violated some policy agreement. To this date, I still have no idea what went wrong. We tried calling them and was told we violated some policy and the account was closed. We tried to get an explanation again and the *************** up on me. No explanation still of what happened and what I needed to do to fix it, just that we can't fix it nor can we setup an account with them. Again, I would not do business with Sofi, customer service is not helpful and apparently don't want new customers.
