This bank took my money on two different occasions and when I tried to get it back, they said they cant do anything. Their system had a glitch and it was so big they sent out an apology email, but also overdrafted my account $200. Then I made a transaction involving a foreign currency and they didnt even do the exchange so I lost $18. I wouldnt have used that card if I knew how limited Sofi was that they cant even bank in a different currency. Yet they have crypto investment accounts? Ive been robbed and if you are thinking of cashing in on their promotional offers, dont do it. Its not worth the headache of issues and poor customer service. They also say youll get your direct deposit two days early, but that isnt true. I got it about 6 hours early. I could go on about weird small stuff that happened with my account that I didnt initiate, but Ill stop here and move on with life. Worst bank Ive ever used.SoFi

SoFi Hey guys! Think twice before banking with SoFi online banking! They lie to attain signups and then dont follow through with offers/promotions/bonuses that they originally offer, even when you meet their deposit qualifications. 2/3 more than they required for their bonus! Thanks so much SoFi. Ill be banking somewhere else from now on! Terrible service!SoFi

My SoFi bank card was stolen and received over $5k in fraudulent charges on it. I notified SoFi customer service immediately, and they notified me a week later saying, "Based on our investigation, we have concluded no error occurred; therefore, no funds will be credited to your account and this matter is considered closed." I don't understand how they came to this conclusion, as I was legitimately a victim of credit card fraud, and they refuse to help me as a victim of this whole fiasco.SoFi

I have not applied for anything from SoFi for months and now I am receiving calls at all hours of the night which is completely inappropriate. Tonight I received a call after midnight. SoFi needs to reign in their sales people and stop creating cases for people that have not applied!!SoFi

Worst customer services I have ever experienced at a bank. After going under contract on our dream home, we contacted SoFi for a wire transfer in 24 hours of 3% of our downpayment to the title company. We had 2 appointments at **** of America planned as we know they are reliable. A rep asked to earn our business as they knew were considering banking with SoFi full time, we cancelled both appointments trusting the rep would get the wire done. We submitted 3 hours before the wire cutoff. The wire did not go through that night resulting in the sellers agent furiously contacting ours. We had to beg the sellers to give us another 12 hours, no manager could tell me why the wire did not go through just that they are sorry and "understand my frustration". There was no way to escalate the request past each manager who was different each time I called in. I had to call every 30 minutes since they opened at 5 AM PST today until they finally made the transfer at 8:30 AM (literally 20 minutes before our cutoff). Again not a single manager could tell me why only "they were sorry and this should never happen".It also appears that SoFi has a data breach they are denying, my wife got a call from a "SoFi" rep she could not verify so hung up 10 minutes after the wire asking for more information. Upon calling SoFi, they said that person did not work there. Their advice was to only do incoming calls to their bank as there is no way to verify if a SoFi employee was real....meaning you cannot trust nor verify their employees when they call. Instead of fixing their own security problem they make it the customers issue.We are pulling our money after closing. A perfect example of the "amazon" effect, 0 accountability, no management chain to escalate to, and only "tickets" different departments can communicate via...no phones allegedly. Shady practices I am surprised the BBB has them at an A+, seems like the customer ratings are more accurate.SoFi

Sofi is a self funding account. I put money on the account monthly to apply to future ******* purchases. On July 25, 2023 I got notified by my smart watch that a transaction left my Sofi account in the amount of $133.02 to *******. I contacted ******* who said without a order # not to worry. Sofi said it was pending and not to worry about it, that it was probably a glitch. A few days later it cleared, I contacted Sofi and they said they would issue me an new card. They also said they will make a decision about my reimbursement. They did and said nothing unauthorized happened??? They refuse to tell me what was charged, and consider the matter closed. This is illegal taking money from our account for no reason.SoFi

If you are thinking about using Sofi - don't.I woke up today to a Sofi "trade confirmation" email. I didn't even know I have a Sofi account. Apparently I got 1 share of their stock a few years ago as a reward when I was looking at their rates, but I decided to not use Sofi.They charged me $25 inactivity fee on August 10 without notifying me upfront, then they liquidated the share yesterday to cover the fee because of a "margin call", again without notifying me. Now they claim I owe them $22.50 still.SoFi

I applied for a SoFi credit card. I was denied, because it says the information provided didn't match the information on ********'s credit report. It only asked for my SS#, DOB, and address, which all match what is in my Experian credit file. SoFi dinged my credit with a hard credit inquiry for absolutely no reason.SoFi

I've had sifi credit card for couple years but 7-29-23 I notice my full $75.00 payment was only partially paid ,sofi only applied$43.00to credit card balance so I went back to 4-4-23 when I paid my credit card off since then I've charged $1047.35 and paid payment of $330.00 which should leave a balance of $717.35 with interest rate charges added and not counting my rewards of $12.09, but sofi is charging my card $918.91 ,so I'm waiting for them to return my call but sofi still has not responded ****************SoFi
