So I have a joint checking account with **********************. And they have had my account frozen for almost two weeks now. We have no means to get to the money in our account. We now have gotten a ten day notice from our landlord because we haven't been able to give them rent. We have no groceries and we have two kids to feed. And all of this stems from ***. Which is the bank that the *** uses for tax refunds. Well we have been told there was something going on with ***. We have provided everything showing our deposit is a legit deposit. And still no responses from them every time we call I get they have no more information and the internal review team is investigating it. I ask to speak to them and I get they don't take incoming calls. So we are left with no money, just about homeless and kids that are hungry because we can't get to our money. And on top of that my other deposits that was going into the bank got turned away. We are lost on what to do.SoFi

I am giving this review because this bank allowed a transaction to occur AFTER I received a text about the transaction and stated that it was not me that had made it. This transaction occurred AFTER a person from their company had called me to inform me of fraudulent activity and told me that the account would be suspended. I called them after I received the text and was told that the account was suspended only to see that almost every cent that I had in both my checking AND savings had been taken out. Somehow someone was able to get into my account and not only clean out the checking, but transfer money from the savings to the checking. When I called about it - all they could say is that they were "investigating it" so, in the meantime - I am out a lot of money. If you have money and can afford to lose it - than go ahead and use this bank.SoFi

100% sincere when I say this is thee worst sounding concert I have ever attended. When asking an employee they only could advise to upgrade or start a petition as they are known for their poor acoustics. I asked for a refund and denied. The only train I didnt leave is we from almost 8 hours for our daughters birthday.SoFi

Their loan process is automated or outsourced. And no point of contact, application was approved and in review only to received run-on sentences asking for really odd things like my employers (a company!) tax returns, etc. And you have no actual person to email, you can only respond via .*** or .***. Frustrating and unprofessional. Do not recommend!SoFi

For some reason my account was frozen and has been for 37 days now which I have funds in with that being said Im on eviction status right now because the review team is not doing there job to fix this issue I have called pretty much every single day and get the same answer that I have to wait for them to do the review of my account and when I ask to speak to a supervisor they tell me that theres no way to contact them you would think with them being a financial institution that they would have supervisors ready available Im extremely frustrated and mad about this whole situation it truly is putting unnecessary stress on my life whenever they decide to let me access my funds which Ill probably be living on the streets by then I will be definitely closing my account DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY SEEM LIKE UPSCALE SCAMMERS TO ME they get a negative 10 star ratingSoFi

I have been with SoFi for a bit and then they cancelled my account for no reason. They won't give me any information about it or anything when I asked for employee id and name, they just gave me a name and no employee id and stated that I was wrong, they left the chat when I wanted a manager. They have no reason to state that I violated terms when they won't tell me why I have violated it. They aren't worth going through. If you want a good bank then don't go through SoFi. I would recommend. They will give you the run around and tell you that they can't find the information that you're wanting to provide and it *****. I thought I liked this bank, but this bank has horrible customer service and I don't want to have to go through them again.SoFi

I have been banking with SOFI for years, last month someone used my SOFI debit card on *********** on line twice. When I found out I immediately contacted SOFI representative and I was told to wait for the transactions to go through first and call back. Two days after I called to dispute the transactions, SOFI told me they will investigate the two transactions. To my suprise they only refunded the smaller transaction of $251 and 10 days after I was told the other transaction of $1000 plus will not be refunded to me and my case is closed and nothing they can do about it. I tried several time to call there staff very rude to me, I sent several email, but the only reply I got was that my case as been closed. I am very disappointed and l need help to recover my money from SOFi.SoFi

To whom it may concern, My name is ***************************. I had previously worked with General customer service regarding several fraudulent changes from Airbnb. My wallet was lost which contained my SOFi debit vats. There were a total of 4 charges from Airbnb that I did not authorize or utilize any services from this merchant. 3 of the charges were refunded, but there is a third charge that was denied with no apparent reason. I'm trying to get all of my funds back. SOFi has been great work handling disputes, but the change in question was left unresolved. The ticket number is ******* and the dollar amount is $583.98.I hope that this can be quickly resolved the tyne previous charges. Thanks, ***************************SoFi

I have been with SOFI for several months and all went well at first. I had a login issue because I forgot the last password I created for the account about two weeks ago. I got a message that said, "Your account has been blocked after multiple consecutive login attempts. " No biggie right, just call them and get a password reset link. Easy. So I do this and create yet another password and it takes you to the login page after the new password is accepted. over the last two weeks I have had to do this 14 times. I had to re-explain my situation 12 times until I just said, "read my notes" because I was tired of explaining over and over again. Two "tickets" were sent to the tech department. I got an email from them telling me the ticket was closed and I was good to go. No I wasn't and that's where I lost confidence in SOFI their tech group obviously had no clue as to what they were doing. A second ticket was filed and is still pending. At this point I have money in my checking account that I do not have access to. I have investments I can't manage, and I am trying to find ways of getting my money out. As always, the customer service agents are very kind and want to help but to no avail. The final kick in the head is the illustrious *************** asked me to send them a screen shot of the "Your account has been blocked" screen to them? What purpose would a photo of a screen I have read to the customer service people 25 times do for them? I think it's a stall tactic. I need to get SOFI to put my money in a check and send it to me. I would recommend anyone looking to open an account with ********************** to choose another bank. Behind the customer service people they have no regard for the situation they can't seem to correct and a lack of urgency about your need. They are a terrible bank and as soon as I get this figured out I will close the account and say "Bye Bye" . Don't do business with SOFI because you will regret it.SoFi
