They are holding my little brothers funds due to fraudulent activity on his account. It has been TWO MONTHS and they will not release his funds. He has zero access to his remaining money to pay anything so now he is behind on his bills and his credit score has dropped. The first time he called for an update, he was told that someone dropped the ball and never began the investigation to begin with. Today he call again so now it has been two months and was told by a rep there was no update and nothing they could do. He was also told there were no account managers or supervisors he could speak with, and then he was hung up on. I tried the chat feature on their website to inquire about policies and when the rep decided he didnt want to answer generic questions, he ended the chat. The agent after his was more willing to help but still unable to provide any numbers to corporate or a supervisor or anything regarding policies. She directed me to read through the policies myself in the terms of agreement. So they dont even know what their own policies are. I have screen shots of all of this. This needs to be resolved IMMEDIATELY. I sincerely hope people do their research before banking with such an unprofessional, heartless company.SoFi

SoFi committed fraud, an account manager admitted it, and yet they didn't rectify the situation. A SoFi representative refused to give me the referral sign-up bonus I was promised. Previously, I was told by representatives that I was eligible and going to receive a referral bonus, however once my loan was processed/disbursed, SoFi reneged on this. An account manager essentially admitted that the company had made an error and owed me money, yet refused to rectify the situation.SoFi

Fraud prevention is a joke. I got an alert saying sus activity and I immediately said no don't authorize and they still let the charge go through then denied me when I requested what was stolen from me. They don't take calls and won't tell me what to provide to show I didnt authorize a purchase. I recommend choosing any other bank. They won't ***** you over like SoFi has done. Identity theft is horrible as is it. Dealing with a bank who isn't willing to support you isn't worth it. Before this experience I thought they were pretty great. Now after pretty much denying a theft occurred and allowing these charges to take my money (even after they texted and asked if these charges were authentic to which I immediately said no) they could've stopped this fraud/theft and they didn't then they didn't have the decency to reimburse me after an obviously deficient "investigation". SoFi has definitely had a negative impact on my life. I recommend avoiding banking with them. They don't take care of your moneySoFi

They holding my money for almost 3 weeks , they put my account to restrictions due to unauthorized transactions , still under investigations with no updates from them , no call almost 3 weeks , I have no money , they using my money!cant even withdraw my own money , giving me hard time to at least allow me once to withdraw to pay my bills , big burden on my side , no help from SoFI management, they scammed me, thieves! In theory SoFi Bank Sounds like a great banking alternative however if youre not on youre A game keeping track you miss all their loops calling customer service is honestly a waste of time because you never get a clear answer its always a I understand Im going to escalate this and youll receive an email update I will definitely be closing this account I would rather deal with a traditional bank at least with them I know what Im getting in opposed of what Ill be promised.SoFi

A Fraudulent account of $30,000 was created in my name, I reported the Fraud nothing has been done, just more charges added to my monthly cost! I called about a dozen times or more! requested a fraud packet filled that out in days that said no fraudulent activity has occurred, they did not do the investigation, the fraudsters used my BECU to spend that money, I filed a fraud account on BECU, they are making efforts to get that money back! Meanwhile SoFi I called and called to get some more help, I talked once with the *********** that call got dropped! I am on ******** get service never a dropped call, SoFi dropped mine, I called back to talk to *****, no results, they said you cannot talk to the fraud ***** WHAT??? I have not gotten a call back from *****, that day I got in touch with her, my business was not finished with her! The call dropped, then i got more emails offering fraud help which I was trying to do!Everytime I called them, the calls got dropped and I had to RE-EXPLAIN over and over again to each person I called!EXASPERATING!!BECU is getting things done, SoFi has not called me back to offer help!!! But they keep adding costs to my monthly payment, I ahve not paid one dime to that fraud account! I am awaiting another fraud packet from SoFi, as I have new information!I seriously believe that SoFi is a **************** The **** and ******************* of the ********* www.helpwithmybank.gov Does not recognize SoFi, WHAT THE??????So I am seeking leagal help with this lazy fraudulent abnk, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SofI!!! I dont know why they received so many complaints. Somehow I feel these comments from ppl who does not know how bank works or have some unrealistic expectations.This is a great company and those ratings are not fair to them.Ive been with Sofi for over a year and NEVER have problems with them, maybe Im just too lucky???- customers service is great. Pick up call very fast, answered all my questions professionally and throughly. - so far they keep all their promises and done their part without delay or mistakes: Throughout the year they have a lot of different promotions (if you open account at this time you will receive this and this. If you deposit money within this time, you will receive that and that). Well I follow all requirements and received ALL rewards as they promised.- their credit card so far has the BEST return rate in market.- their saving account rate, not the top, but one of the best out there.- they are one of the first companies that offer interest rate on checking account - their loan rate is not the best, but their process truly fast and easy, and trustworthy.- their app work perfectly and very user friendly - I havent tried their investment feature yet so cant comment on that.In conclusion, I dont work for SoFi or receive anything from them for writing this. I just feel its totally unfair people hold grudges against them over something other banks would do the same or worse.Do your research ppl, try them out, read their annual report, follow their social media page to see how they interact with publicbefore jumping to conclusions.SoFi
