      False information and FALSE ADVERTISING. They told me I was pre approved for a certain amount. So I applied for less than that amount. They pulled my credit, which wasnt a problem. I had an 812 credit score and a 779 credit score between ********** and Equifax. AFTER pulling a hard inquiry on my credit, they wanted my financial information, proof of employment, which I provided. Then they wanted the same info directly from my employer as well. information from my employer. We both sent them everything they asked for, more than once. I spent two weeks providing them with the same information as well as my employer doing the same. They kept asking for the same info over and over again. Each time saying: We need more info. I finally told them they were a joke and quit wasting my time. So much for a pre approval. Let me also be clear about my credit: I do not have any other loans or credit card debt. I would like to know who they actually approve?? If a credit score over 800, no debt, having a job with employer verification, and a pre approval will not get you a loan then what will?ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR THEM TO WASTE MY TIME & hurt my credit score! My history with them is outstanding as well. *** never had a problem in the past with this company. Whatever they have changed, it has caused them to lose a customer. Im so irritated that my credit score was hurt with a 15 point decrease from their hard inquiry credit pull. I gave them everything they asked for with having over an 800 credit score. What a waste of my time!! Never again. The pre approval statement was a joke!

      My account has been frozen for 11 days ******* have called them day in n day out.. they have yet to have released my account to me to take my money out of my account n to let me get my funds to pay bills out to.. there is nothing fraudulent on my account at all and they have yet to unfreeze my account.. this is a terrible bank to bank with as well n they lack in telling u the same thing each n everyday to. Also . The way they treat u here is totally wrong n there security team is terrible they keep on saying it is in review n I can take nothing or have issue resolved with them at all either.. this bank needs to be shut down to also .

      If I could give negative stars I would. This company should not be in business. I started an application with them and then hesitated last minute before submitting my final documents which included a blank check they insisted was needed to fund. They ended up funding the loan anyway. When I called to ask them to cancel the loan I no longer wanted it they said nothing can be done. I could just send the money back and pay it off. The problem is, the loan with them hurt my chances of getting the loan with another company that can actually help me. They basically said oh well nothing can be done. Find another company this isn't it.

      Over a 45 minutes wait to talk to SoFi, at 11:30 pm, on Saturday, April 15, with regard to someone getting hold of my credit card number (fraud).> Transferred back and forth after talking to representatives. Each time I had to present the numerous security credentials.> I could not understand the final/last person, had a heavy accent. I ended up deactivating the card.> Today I am "locking" other credit cards and bank debit cards, so fraudsters won't be able to get to them ... so I won't have to go through this routine.> It almost seems trying to get through customer service is worst than the attempted theft.

      I've been able to save more money with this bank in 2 months than I have in 10 yrs. Never had a problem with checks clearing or with anything going through. Personal Loan process was easy, and I got a decent rate with a payment I can afford. No fees, no minimum balance. App is easy enough to use. My small savings balance actually grows and with round **** I don't have to think about saving.

      Applied for a credit card with them as they advertised 0% for 15 months. They sent me an email telling me I was approved at 23%. I called them a week ago and have not heard back. Now Im constantly getting emails to activate my account. That will not be happening.

      We just tried to have a loan funded through SoFi. We were looking to use it for some improvements on our home. They say that most loans are funded in 3 to 5 days. We started on March 27 and just found out today April 10 that we were denied. We started with online info being filled out and told we could see rates with just a soft pull on our credit. I picked a rate with a monthly payment that I thought we could afford. Later , after several phone calls to the company we found out that the interest rate has risen almost 8% and the monthly payment had gone up about $60 I contacted the company by text and they recommended I go to the website to find out apparently what I had missed I thought they should just explain it to me. I called again and said we could take a lower amount. (Made sense to me) so our monthly payment would be lower One of their employees tried to adjust to a lower amount and said it couldnt be done for us - the system couldnt accept that.?! At that point I asked for an Account Manager. ****** talked to me about some options I hadnt thought about before and my husband and I decided to move forward with trying to secure the loan. That was on April 4 and also when the company told us to go further we would need to complete banking info on line. We were having issues with that and a company rep took the info on the phone. I was wondering why we were inputting the info so soon before we were told we could be funded Knowing we could use the money for home improvements we kept on going listening to the company saying our loan had been expedited and we would be contacted by either e-mail or text ( my preference) when all was done. When I called in today on April 10th a rep who answered the call (****) told me our loan was denied. I then asked for an account manager (*******) to explain things. He just recited the things on the credit report , told us about serious delinquency we had (untrue). I would not go with this company.

      THE WORST COMPANY EVER. They freeze your accounts when a transaction looks fishy and take days to unfreeze. Their security team is TERRIBLE and can barely speak English.

      Read the reviews 1st its a stupid bot responding to all of our complaints against a fraudulent business! Sofi us a scam. While I may not have had the amount of money I'm my account as some of you had, it still, like yours, belongs to us not them! These people are a joke..."oh I'm so sorry to hear that" b.s. you are! Know one knows a true answer they all pass the buck. BBB we need business like them as in Sofi GONE! They are destroying people and their businesses. BBB this is a cry for.help!

      I have previously used the SoFi app to track crypto prices and my credit rating only. I opened the app on 4/3/23 and was presented a form to update my address. Once I completed the form, it told me that my debit card would be mailed shortly. I never wanted a bank account and never asked for one. When I contacted support, they blamed me but closed it without any other issues.
