      Horrible place they locked my account after my check went in and refuse to unlock it till after the get more evidence. They wont tell me what they are investigating won't tell me how long I have to wait to figure this out and release my money. I have a family that depends on my paycheck and need my money. The security team that is talk to is a joke and rude they hung up on you. When you tell them they have poor customer service they say this isn't customer service this is security and protection. They are a joke and I want my money now.

      I referred my spouse through the SoFi student loan program. The terms and conditions were seemingly clear - refer someone, and get paid the referral bonus on the 60th day after the loan is funded. The loans were originally her loans, and I co-signed the loans as part of the approval process. I talked to a SoFi representative at length and was assured this wouldn't be an issue, given that the terms and conditions don't contain any disqualifying factors for co-signing a loan. More than 60 days pass, and neither of us have received the referral bonus, so I call, only to be told that there is "technically" some internal policy about not referring loans to a spouse, which, again, is contrary to the terms and conditions. Nearly two weeks pass before they agree to honor the referral bonus. However, as if they are doing me some sort of of favor, I was told that SoFi would need to manually process the payment, which could take up to 10 business days. When I asked why an ACH payment or a wire into the SoFi checking account I was required to open would take up to 2 weeks to process, I was repeatedly told that it was company policy (e.g., there is no rationale explanation). Fortunately, we both received the deposit within 6 business days. It has certainly been a souring experience. I understand that mistakes happen and terms and conditions aren't always clear, but what customers expect (especially when you profit from the relationship in the sense of additional interest on a loan that you wouldn't have otherwise had) is that the mistake is corrected quickly and in a timely fashion. Nearly a month to resolve an issue is not a timely resolution.

      As a 100% Disabled ************* Military Veteran. Who has been through the ringer. This is the Worst mistake I've ever made. The money that ***************** Government pays me to support my family is being kept from them and myself with no help or support to resolve this nightmare. After leaving **** of America and joining this company I have immediate regret. My ******************* and savings vault have been frozen for over 8 days. They claimed the issue was they needed a "document" from my last bank. Well guess what that's BEEN sent in to them. Nobody can say when and who needs to contact me or "investigate" the freeze every time I call. The SoFi "SOCALLED" Security team are the worst ever. One guy cut me off mid question yesterday told me to have a good day and hung up in my face. Every bill I have almost is past due. I've missed credit card payments and car payments. Having a family 7 to support every ***** is frozen. I've called every single day at least 3 times a day (morning, afternoon and evening). My kids have absolutely no food. And if they don't unlock my money we won't have anything as everything is past due already it's very suspicious this happens as soon as my direct deposit came in and was immediately locked is when they decided to freeze every ***** I have!! I am forced to make this a HUGE ISSUE and will spend every future ***** on recovering everything lost due to this. If I don't get this resolved immediately it's not going to be good. As I will use my over 100k social media following and the friends with just as many to voice out and make this a even more big deal..I'll document it as well for the world to see. UNFREEZE MY ACCOUNT. So I can continue to support and feed my family!

      Outstanding odds of getting a loan. 820 credit score and the reason for denial was unable to verifying identity. I sent my drivers license and a selfie plus additional personal info. Sounds like a line of BS to me. Good rating but not accredited. Keep your money. Don't need I be just fine.

      I referred someone. And was supposed to get $50. And they was to get $25.00. He deposited the money 7 days after the account was opened. The ad we seen had nothing on it about depositing 5 days after open. Now they are saying you have to depo5 days after opening. I have the screenshot where it says nothing about 5 days but still can't get our money. All they are trying to do is get all these people to sign up and then don't pay. If someone does not fix this we both will be closing our accounts.

      Things started out okay, but the longer I have to review this bank the more problems I find. The first issue is that they do not pay bonuses automatically. You have to contact them multiple times in order to receive bonus. I earned a bonus for openning an account and setting up direct deposit, but didn't receive according to their guidelines. I had to contact them. I also did three referrals. For one of the three my bonus was credited without any action from me. For another I had to contact them via chat to get the bonus. For the third referral, I still haven't received it . It's been 3 months. Also I signed up for a credit card and was supposed to receive ***** points worth $200 after spending $1500. As of Oct 14th I hit that target but have not received the bonus. I have contacted them twice about it. They tell me they will review it, but they haven't replied with a reason of why I haven't received it. It has been 3 months since I met the spending requirement. And now I have another bad experience to add. 9 days ago a fraudulent charge was made on my card. At the time of the transaction, I was notified and immediately replied that I did not make the transaction. The amount is over $1700. The company has yet to reverse the charge from my account and they reported my balance to the credit bureaus. As a result, my credit score dropped 20 points. Every other bank that I have dealt with reverses fraudulent transactions while they investigate. I really have low confidence that they know what they are doing.

      I had a poor experience with SoFi. I heard about them through marketing material that came through the mail and thought they would be a good option to help pay off some of my higher interest credit cards.My first issue is that the interest rates they offered were not that much better than the credit card interest rates. I don't think it's fair to be able to advertise super low interest rates to people and then offer really high interest rates. The logic with interest rates boggles my mind. They give great rates to people who don't need them, and make their money off the poor ones who do. My second issue was that SoFi denied my loan application because they said that my credit card balances were too high! I guess it's kind of odd to advertise refinancing high balance credit cards and then deny someone for the loan because their credit balances are too high. After going through the whole process, it felt like the rug was pulled out from under me. Ultimately, SoFi did not help me and I would not recommend it to others. I'm sure they might retort about creditworthiness of borrowers, blah, blah, blah, but ultimately, they're not much different from the credit card companies we're trying to divorce from; they want to make money off your debt. I wish there was a better way.

      I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone to use. **************** is unprofessional and also helpful. I called multiple times for the same issue and received different answers for the same problem, so I can honestly say they are untrustworthy also. One of the security agents started yelling at me for a multiple question about my account. Never in my life I felt so disrespected and unappreciated as a Customer. I will be closing my account today
