      Company will hold your checks and investing money for weeks at a time, support agents are heartless and rude. DO NOT PUT BIG MONEY INTO SOFI THEY WILL STEAL IT. Sofi is full of thieving and cons. Ive had everyone of my family members and friends cancel with sofi and left multiple bad reviews on the app store and i will be contacting local police.

      The 1.37/5 rating here (as of today) says it all... and I'm happily AFFIRMING ***** it all started when I saw their advertising for a savings account that offers 4% *** with the possibility to make UNLIMITED WIRE and ACH transfers.I deposited $100k to my savings account. Then one day I needed to make a wire transfer of $20,000 to one my OWN accounts.Their system only allowed me to transfer $5k. I verified in their T&Cs that there is no limit amount for outgoing ACH and wires, I read over and over and over their limits/requirements, in fact, it said the daily limit is $1 MILLION DOLLARS.I called customer support they said they can't do anything and the only way I can withdraw my money is if it would be for a Home purchase. like WHAT?? This is NOT in T&C or requirements. In fact, on their website they advertise that you can make withdrawals for ANY reasonI said maybe it's the agent, so I called again. The 2nd ****** was extremely hostile, rude and unprofessional.. and did not even allow any withdraw for any ********* I had enough and asked to close my account and send me an email confirmation that my account is closed and my balance paid out. They closed the account and the agent refused to send me any written confirmation. Like now I don't even know where is my $100,000!!!! And I can't log back in!! When I insisted, the agent went on to say" I'm not going back in circles with you and it's pointless to redirect you to the my Supervisor because no one can help you with that" This scam must stop IMMEDIATELY!!

      Some had poor English. Some seemed to not be concerned about resolving the issues I had. A nonchalant attitude towards my banking issues. Not satisfied at all .

      As the consensus shows here this is an awful company. Take this hard learned advice if seen and don't give them any business. Nothing but an information scam with a funded front. They pay Credit Karma for advertising, somehow pop up as an A+ business without being accredited and try to happily put us through an endless cycle of uploading information. The BBB has failed in this regard.

      Very poor service. The agents are heartless and dont expect them to have any compassion nor help you if you face anytime of financial hardship. They won't help you at all. I will never do business with SOFI again and I definitely will be spreading the word to others to avoid SOFI like the plague.

      Do not open a account here. I have had one for a little over a year and they are a joke trying to deposit a Christmas bonus check and it's over my check deposit limit. So they told me to ask my company to write multiple smaller checks. What a joke they take the direct deposit every week from them know questions asked but could raise my limit enough to let me deposit a check I am done with them and going to a real bank

      Had to leave a review because the reviews here almost caused me to take my business elsewhere. Requested a credit consolidation loan. Credit decent but not great. Was approved within 1 business day. Funds received with 24 hours of approval. Easy, quick and received the initial interest rate offered. my live is better because of SoFi.

      Overall, extremely poor experience and misleading advertising from SoFi Bank and their customer service was incredibly disjointed and unwilling to be reasonable. I opened a new joint banking account with ********************** in September 2024 primarily because of a bonus they were offering and the rate of their high yield savings account. There bonus was tiered based on the amount of the direct deposits. We met the criteria for the higher bonus with the amount from our direct deposits. However, one of work deposits was not coded correctly and thus then did not meet criteria. After a saga of 7 phone calls and 2.5 months and providing multiple pay stubs documenting that my direct deposit was indeed from my work, they were unwilling to change correct their mistake and provide a good customer experience.

      SoFi was difficult to work woth before mohela, but no has become worse.Access to any application started before the merger has been terminated of gets redirected to 404 errors.Looking for a new partner for student loans (time now).
