I reserved a room at a hotel in *************, **********. I received a text message that I received $30 in credit I would have to use by the following day and gave me a link to extend my stay. Before booking, it stated that every effort would be made to get me the same room. It also said credits would be applied at the end.?I completed the transaction and in fact, I had $60 in credits, but snaptravel despite sending me a text with $30 credits to use to extend my stay, only allowed me to use $5.23. It then sent me a message about my successful booking. I went to confirm at the front desk and they advised I had to check out at 11:00 am, stay out for 4 hours, and return at 3:00 pm for another room. I explained that I did not plan on checking out and checking in again later, but extended my stay, as though I checked in for 2 nights in the first place. They told me to deal with snaptravel.??I called snaptravel back, spent a good deal of time to customer service representative who kept apologizing for the wrong issues, then disconnected me. I then called back again, explained to another representative the problem. She put me on hold twice, then repeated no less than six times, your reservation is non refundable and non amendable. The "non amendable" part is nowhere in the reservation and I explained that the room was available, all the hotel needed was snaptravel's ok. That the only reason I extended my stay was because snaptravel sent me a text message that I could do so with a $30 credit and instead of extending my stay, they just gave me whole new booking with a $5.00 credit. She simply kept repeating non refundable, non amendable. It is now past midnight and I'm still waiting for a supervisor to call me. I'm not hopeful that one will call and even if they do, that they will know the difference between extending a stay and making a second reservation.
