My solar consultant Spring ******** was so helpful, I couldnt have a better person to help me. The whole team was great through the install process, clean, efficient, helped me get set with the app for my Tesla batteries. I was talking to 2 other companies but Sunrun gave a much better offer and got everything done quickly.Sunrun, Inc.

3 starsSun run is not a company of their word and they are not allowing me to back out of my contract. They sent me an initial contract saying that my monthly payment would be $150.25monthly but then start charging me $230 a month When I asked them to send me a copy of my contract they sent me the contract that shows me supposedly making a monthly payment of $150.25a month. They have not yet sent me the updated contract showing what I currently paid monthly. And they will not terminate my contract.Review fromjim t

Stay away from SUNRUN, they make false promises. i has a new roof less than 1 year old prior to solar install. they told me there was a 20 year warranty, but neglected to mention that only 5 on the roof, so the second they started install, my roof warranty 25 years, was thrown out the window, my roof has leaked since day 1, but not discovered until recently, when the water worked its way through 18" of new insulation and now have a waterfall in my kitchen, then then told me that i am no longer under warranty, i had to pay to get a portion onf the panels cleared for roof repair that now i had to pay for myself as well as the removal and re-install of the panels, unfortunatly to clear that section of roof (the brackets) they had to remove 4 more panels now they are doubling the cost to remove and reinstall without my written permission to remove.. my panels now sit on the side of my house, and the system is not running until i pay that extra.. im sorry but they should have known what it would take, everything that comes out of SUNRUN is a lie, a scam and attemps to **** more money from the consumer..Sunrun, Inc.

Over the past year we've had at least 6 solar sales **** visit and we've never had issues with them, until last night. At 715p, dark out, a Sunrun ***resentative disregarded no trespassing signs, and refused to leave after being asked several times. The unmarked vehicle they were using was blocking my driveway and in an area where they were visually able to see into my minor daughters bedroom. It had been several minutes since the initial *** had left but the associate in the unmarked company car, refused to leave saying that it was a public road. I didn't debate that but asked if he could move his car so that he was not blocking our driveway. The driver refused to leave and chose to argue with me. I asked his name and he refused, the driver was not in uniform, did not have identification and refused to provide me with proof of a business card. I soon found the initial sales *** and when I asked him if I could have his business card, the driver spoke to him and told him to not provide me with information. I reminded them just 20 min ago you intruded up my driveway where no trespassing signs are clearly marked, and asked me to do business. I took photos and shared them to my social media platform; almost 10 different people shared similar experiences with this ********************** The sales *** **** returned today and shared that M. was the name of the driver and that he apologizes for the incident. I told him Sunrun and associates, no longer have my permission to solicit at my address or come near my house and would encourage my neighbors to consider the same. I will be making a formal complaint to the local Sunrun ************ and will file a police ***ort if they return and continue to harass and disrespect our neighborhood.Sunrun, Inc.

I work from home and am having a horrible experience with Sunrun employees showing up at my house. I have told staff that I am working from home, please don't stop at my house. I have told staff that I am not interested at this time. I have asked staff to please report back to their office that I am not available during the day. Even when I tell someone that I am in a meeting, they keep talking. This frequent intrusion, usually ever couple of weeks, is becoming harassment. I have had an assessment from the company and told them that I am not interested at this time.This alone is enough for me to never wish to work with this company in the future.Sunrun, Inc.

I reported a roof leak in August 2024 in which they sent three different contractors to look to see if it was their problem, which it was. So thats three days off of work i had to take. They then sent a contractor and removed all the panels off my roof and stored in my backyard, replaced the three rows of singles where the panels were mounted. The roof shingles do not match my roof. They then replaced the sheetrock in my living room and insulation in my attic. Another four days off of work for me. Then i get a call from Sunrun stating there is something wrong with my panels because its not reading or registering on the meter. So i called them and told them..Yeah thats right because they are in my backyard. So then they scheduled another contractor to reinstall the panels, yet another day off of work for me. Then yep you guessed it.. another roof leak. So i called again and they sent another contractor to look at the issue, and another day off of work for me. The contarctor stated the panels will need to come back off and repaired again. So now almost a year later i know have two roof leaks, my case worker is not calling me back, which i had three of during this entire fiasco. I am now having an evironmental company going to look into my attic because I am sure there is mold in it, i want to speak to someone because i dont think i want these panels back on my roof as well as i want the roof replaced on the front of my house because the shingles they put on doesnt match at all. So overall I am giving a zero out of five stars. i would never recommend solar to anyone!! So in review, August I had one leak, now in the end of May of the next year I have Two worse than the first time, A roof that doesnt match and I am sure there has to be mold in my attic. Nine days of vacation i had to use for repairs that so far havent done anything but make it worse.Sunrun, Inc.

Solar malfunctions constantly costing us more than its worth. It has been acting up for the last 9 months. Our true up is going to be over $3,500 for the second year in a row! It takes months to get anyone out to fix an issue. We were also told we had 10+ years left of our roof and that was a lie. They even damaged our roof and left scraps everywhere leading to an injury to our pets. Every last person you get on the phone is rude and can't do anything for you. Since July of 2023 when it was installed it has been a nightmare. There is also dozens of lawsuits going on with them I have no clue how they have an A+ rating. If our issues are not resolved soon we will also be getting a lawyer.Sunrun, Inc.

Purchased my system Dec 2019. Was really happy with my electric bill until my inverter went down in July 2022. It took over 9 months to ***lace. Was told they didn't have any in stock. New inverter installed April 2023. I was compensated for the loan payments for that period and half my electric bill for that period. August 2024 inverter went down again. When panel was removed the whole system was full of water and fried. Lucky my house did not catch on fire. May 27, 2025, my system is still down. Sunrun *** is totally frustrated for that she cannot get a straight answer from their supply department. I was also told that they would not reimburse me like they did the last time. I bought the system thru ****** and have notified them of my dissatisfaction, and they have since stopped promoting SunRun in our area. I would give them half a star if it was possible. My system has been down 20 months out of 64 months and will probably be down a few more months,Sunrun, Inc.

Sunrun scheduled an appointment to replace the inverter on May 26. I received many texts and emails confirming the appointment but They never showed up I called customer service, waited ************************************************************************************** Worst customer service!Sunrun, Inc.

It is very frustrating that when you get the system installed, they scheduled it right away. When the system fail, It took them months before they come and diagnose what's the problem. When the problem is found and parts needs to be replaced, they can't even give you a date when you get the system back. If I didn't notice my utility billing shoots up, no one knows the system is not working, until I made the call. They're supposed to monitor it regularly.Sunrun, Inc.
