      ************** classic "bait and switch" with new customers. I signed up for the $5.99 Streaming Plan and they charged my debit card. I saw that there was nothing remotely interesting to watch, most movies and shows were only available for the $11.99 subscription (or higher). I called ***************** requested a cancellation. Phone rep said "Sure, will cancel your subscription, but I'll give you TWO FREE MONTHS STREAMING SERVICE AT NO CHARGE". I confirmed on the phone with the rep that I was not to be charged ANYTHING during this 60-day FREE TRIAL PERIOD. I should have recorded the call, because he lied and said "yes" or didn't know his job and said "yes" because of poor training. I hazard to guess it was the former.I did not expect any new charges and I expected a full refund of the $5.99. I still have not seen the $5.99 refund credited back to my bank account, now 11 calendar days later. In addition, there was a $11.99 charge to my account one week after I was offered the free two month subscription. I called customer service again, was put on a 12 minute hold while a terrible hypnotic anime "music" played over and over and a voice kept taunting over and over "Your expected hold time is 2 minutes", Finally a rep got on the phone, I explained what happened and demanded a full refund. I was sent a confirmation email for the $11.99 refund, told it would take "up to 10 business days" to show up in my account, and without me requesting it she cancelled my subscription, to which I also got a confirmation email. But this means they RENEGED on the offer of TWO MONTHS FREE TRIAL STREAMING SERVICE, since my subscription now ends in two weeks. Nice bait and switch! I have ZERO TRUST in this company so I will have to go to my bank tomorrow and CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD since they cannot be trusted to not continually charge my bank every month. The charge on my bank card is labeled as a "recurring" charge.

      Went to cancel before my promo was up (7/22/23), but next billing date showed two month (9/22/23). Was charged on 7/22 anyways. Took talking with two different agents asking for them to explain why the site had the wrong date, but was able to get the 1 month refunded. Recommend screenshotting billing dates since they are doing something fishy to charge people who don't cancel in time.

      Paramount+ Gift card is a scam. I had $100 GC, I applied this GC to be used but Paramount+ presented 2 options to me (monthly/annual). As I was knew to this, I went sideways to research on the monthly plan options. By the time I returned back to chose the monthly option, the web session expired (how can Paramount allow to expire a session when it knows that the customer has consumed GC but didn't use it on any service yet?). But now my Gift card is invalid as Paramount+ assumes it has been used. Their CSR is a total waste of time. They don't have anyone technical enough to understand this problem. I communicated with their CSR team through messenger, email and phone call. Be careful if you want to use Paramount Gift cards.

      I went to cancel my account and when I did it told me we dont like cancellations heres two months free next thing I know my cards being charged for an account that says theres no payment due for another two months. Terrible business practice.

      I canceled my subscription and months ago and they decided to charge me for an annual subscription. When I reached our within an hour of seeing the charge they said they had no record of me canceling. Sadly I deleted the email. But they refuse to give me a refund.

      I have not been able to use this service for 4 days now. Everything they have suggested to try to get it to work has failed. I told them I want my money back and they only send me a 10% discount if I would renew. All they say is they are working on it and I do not get any updates. I just want my money back and they refuse to do so. I paid for a year subscription. So I'm paying for a service I cannot use.

      Paramount is a scam and rips off peoples money. I agreed with people below that they were offered free services. I was also offered free two months, but they charged me $5.40 for this month. They stole my money. I used Paypal for service with paramount plus. ****** refused to refund my money as well. They are also a scam and rips off peoples money. They also stole my money by cancelling the billing agreement without my permission.

      My complaint, like so many I see here, is that I subscribed thinking I had a one week free trial, and I was charged for one year right away. Even though I called as soon as I saw the charge, they refused to refund my money, and instead tried all kinds of tactics to get me to continue my subscription, so I would be charged again in a year. The agent gave me no recourse to protest.

      I canceled my subscription with Paramount Plus since I am no longer using this service. I called to get a refund for my subscription since I was just charged yesterday and I have not used the service. Even though I will not be using the service and I wish to cancel effective immediately, Paramount refuses to refund me due to their no refund policy that I was not aware about. The only thing it says when you sign up for a subscription is no refund for partial months. I havent used the subscription at all and now Im going to have to pay for an entire month because of a policy they are not disclosing to their customers. I am very disappointed in their customer service, this seems wrong to pay for something I am not using, when I called the day after I was charged. In addition to this, their chat function is not user-friendly and timed out on me multiple times, and I was disconnected from my first call to them, so I had to spend a lot of time just to be told I will not be refunded. My family relies on my income and it is so disheartening that Paramount is taking advantage of their customers and not willing to budge over a policy that they are not openly disclosing. Had I known that, I wouldnt have risked trying the subscription if I knew that I could not be refunded if I was dissatisfied with the service. This is a terrible business model, and I hope Paramount chooses to treat their customers better in the future. Especially since I planned to use this service again in the future when the series I watch renews. Now that I know that this is how they treat their customers, I certainly do not plan to use this service again.

      I was supposed to receive a free one year subscription but when I tried to use it there was a notification that stated I needed to choose a plan. When I did that, it voided the free year subscription. I cancelled. Do NOT use this streaming service.
