Uses Filipinos help desk! PayPal is not as responsive as they should be to their Customers needs. If you have a dispute plan on waiting at least 45 days to have it resolved. Did I mention they use Filipinos for their customer service **** to which you can barely understand many of them! Crappy Customer Support, they use AI which makes it as if you're talking to a dead person. I will be looking for an alternative to this crappy company!!

I paid off over half my credit account and then ********************** took my credit down by half. I asked them to close my account count and they said had to pay off to close the account

I had a stroke and subsequent heart surgery in September / October of 2024. Friends of mine put together a benefit auction and Paypal account to receive funds to help me with my overwhelming medical bills. Paypal told me I could not withdraw my funds because it went against their rules, but they wouldn't say which rule. A representative told me if I provided proof of the auction I could likely withdraw the money. I sent her the PUBLIC auction which had every sale and buyer listed. Most if not all of the money was sent F&F which is infamously nonrefundable. Paypal declined my appeal to withdraw my funds and held it for 120 days. I had bills go to collections and despite further contact with Paypal, I was denied any appeal to withdraw my funds earlier. When I requested information to contact their legal department, I was given a mailing address and the chat was ended. The only logical theory I have is that they perhaps draw interest on funds that sit. There is no reason to hold onto F&F funds for 120 days. This is via a non-refundable method AND far beyond any dispute date. On the date of release, I was still unable to withdraw funds. I contacted customer support who required proof of ID, which I provided. Still unable to withdraw funds. Then I had to set up authentication with the representative. Hospitals and debt collectors are absolute vultures. Paypal caused me serious financial hardship and undue mental stress by holding my funds without good reason for such an unreasonable period of time. I will always warn people against using them for larger transactions or for benefit/charity situations such as this, or in instances where a delay could cause you problems such as in my case.

Extremely unprofessional company with minimum customer care resolution. Buyer is not protected at all. **************** too much automated through AI assistant that its forgot about human factor. Also, 100% lock of finding a solution. No proper review process which is essential in order to find a solution during disputes.

I have tried many times to 'like' paypal. But each time I try to use them, I have issues. When I call customer service, they are not helpful or even knowledge enough to help me with the issues I'm having. Ontop of that, they are always condenscending and un appologetic to my problems. I will never be using them again. **************** is based out of *********** are consequently the service is poor.

Be careful with this company. A large amount of unauthorized charges were made with my account and they promised since January that they would refund my money and they have not done this yet. Every time I call, they promise to review the charges and refund me my money and they have not done so. I will be pursuing legal action if this is not rectified. In the mean time, everyone should know that PayPal is neither credible, trustworthy, nor has any fiduciary concerns for its clients. I will never use them again and I encourage others to stick with using their direct payment cards or to use other payment providers.-****

I wish I was able to give zero stars because thats what I would rate for ************************* not use PayPal. I repeat . Do not use PayPal! They closed my account down for absolutely no reason at all .I sent in every type of identity verification under the sun that I could give them , and they still closed my account without any excuse as to why . Its been going on 200 days now of me trying to be able to withdraw my money that they been keeping and Im now being told by them to wait like another week to so I can receive a email from telling me how I can withdraw my monkey that have been holding. Worst company ever!

Paypal has a lock on my account and all my money is on one of the cards. I am out of food and I am out of my prescriptions. I need ******* for my blood thinner so I wont get a blood clot. This is a matter of life and death for me. I need access to that $172.00 on that card. As far as I know I do not owe them any money.
