      I have been a member in good standing since ****. My daughter died March 24, 2022 leaving my wife and I to care for her special needs daughter. I have attempted to cancel the contract since my wife and I can no longer use the timeshare. Instead I was offered a much more expensive timeshare. My wife and I are in our seventies and must care for our 20 year old granddaughter. I would leave zero stars if possible.We just want to cancel the contract. ************ was purchased by ******************* in 2022.The contract lists The Welk Resort Group as the beneficiary of the contract. How do I terminate the contract?

      Sick and tired doesnt even begin to describe how I feel about **** Resorts. Since 2018, they have been a constant thorn in my side. I am currently on a mission to cancel my contract since **** employees have done nothing but lie and manipulate me. The saleswoman I worked with should be fired! The 30 minute tour/presentation went on for hours. Every time I said NO to an offer, I was given a new better deal. The sales supervisor even took a shot at me personally by saying I was being too cheap. I was shown a diagram of how the value of my timeshare would increase over the years (there is no monetary value). I could use this timeshare anytime, anywhere (in order to actually use this the way I want, I would have to spend THOUSANDS more on additional points). I was never told about important information like the financial terms or cancellation period. This whole experience has been an absolute nightmare. Welks sales division should be investigated and punished for what they do to consumers!

      Signed up under the promise that I would be able to use this resort and time share in time for my birthday which I wasnt able to. Not to mention my card was over charged the initial down payment and had a bigger hold on my card which allowed me to not have money for my birthday and still had to pay out of pocket because I was unable to use the timeshare I just purchased. Have not been able to use the timeshare and was not given the free trip I was promised for attending the first initial meeting. Was fed lies after lies and I want out of this contract

      *** tried and tried to reason with **** but they will not listen. I do not wish to do business with this company and wanted to cancel my contract. They refused after transferring me over to several different people. No one seemed like they cared or even wanted to provide good service. I was pressured into buying this timeshare and couldnt use any of the ****** points I had. I have paid for vacations that I can't take due to no availability. I tried to contact them multiple times about another ****** points for 2022 and no one would respond. It wasnt until recently they would give me ****** and now its at the end of the year and still unable to use them. And now ****** points will be expiring next year. I cant afford to keep paying for something that is causing me financial hardship. I wouldnt recommend using **** for traveling. Itd be a waste of money. I just want out but they refuse even though they took advantage of me. They state I cannot cancel and one representative said I was delinquent in payments to get back at me for saying they took advantage of me. I called back and had a different representative and when I asked them if I was delinquent in payments they said no I wasnt. So that other representative lied. They are unwilling to work with you. Only want to ignore you and lie to get your money. ******************* P300645

      **** Resorts and their parent company Marriott Vacations are ignoring our efforts to be released from our 2021 contract that was executed under the umbrella of duress, omissions, miscommunication and flat out lies.They will rope you in with promises of a 60-minute commitment in exchange for gifts. First, they will give you a survey which does 2 things. First, it sets up their pitch and second, they will ask about where you work to assess your income. They take you on a tour, present this as an opportunity to be key holders and as such would have first choice of rooms on the property. This was followed by talking about what we could gain access to through RCI. This is key, RCI is owned by another company, it is where you exchange this is how they sell you on what they dont have. Why do they talk so much about other companies? So, they can keep the color commentary alive.Here is the bottom line, we were trapped for just under 8 hours and fed lie after lie. This is not real estate, this cannot be left to your children without them being burdened to with continuously rising maintenance fee year over year. (We were told these fees were locked). We cant roll over points without paying. No exchanging without paying. There is no refinancing, period. Because the product has ZERO VALUE.4 employees brow beat us for hours, saying this was a one-time deal; if we didnt purchase it today, it would never be available to us again. LIES AND MANIPULATION PURE AND SIMPLE! We are disgusted with **** Resorts, and Marriott Vacations employees. We want to cut all ties and go our separate ways because we do not want to be associated with such a horrendous company.

      I want to thank the electrician at Lawrence **** for fixing, repairing and replacing the ice maker, dishwasher and patching a hole in the wall. ***** is very professional and hard working. He is courteous and has a can-do attitude. He responded immediately to our problem in our 2 bedroom suite. Made 3 trips to get the new parts in a timely manner. ***** got everything up and running. ***** is an asset to the company. We are really enjoying our stay and looking forward to visiting again.Best wishes from ******* and *********************

      You will be putting on wait for a very long time. I could not use timeshare for last 3 years because of COVID and restrictions in other countries, I have been paying all due which is increasing ever year, now it is about $1200. They refused to give me the points from the years that I could not travel. Even if you deposit your weeks to RCI, rarely you can find a resort to go in your prefered destination. This is the worst investment. I am very disappointed with **************** for not caring about their customers.

      If you are approached by **** Resorts, please take my advice, and walk away! We have paid **** Resorts over $15,000 in less than three years and have had ZERO opportunity to utilize our ownership! I have attempted to make a reservation several months in advance, short time in advance, and tried using all available reservation options available to us with the program, but without success. However, I can go online to travel sites and I find an abundance of rooms available for nightly rental and you dont even need to be an owner. While we still owe this double-dipping, greedy company money, they will not see another dime from us! They have taken so much from my family and have given absolutely nothing in return.

      We have been trying to get someone from **** to address our issues for a long time! The last time was August 24th when we sent them an email requesting that we be canceled or they address our situation. They did neither. They didn't even respond.
